A family owned and run establishment that is absolutely delicious! The care they put into their business is tasted through the food! I would order jugs of their homemade house salad dressing if I could, it really is that good! The chicken kabob salad is my favorite dish here, the chicken is cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful mixed with crisp fresh lettuce, peppers, onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, and fresh feta! Was not busy, ordered Chicken Ka-Bob salad and large sweet potato fries to go; When I got home salad had 3 small pieces of chicken, a slice of onion (a few grams), no feta, and a bunch of greens (+ fresh tomatoes to be fair); The fries were rated good but for $7 the size was rather small. Apples to apples in 2020 thus far, across the street (when they are open) Rowley House of Pizza is winning...sadly they are not open often enough; Anyways, once Doctor'd up (with my own items...feta, onions, dressing, etc) the salad was good; A higher attention to detail and consistent product delivery will win any local competitive advantage. Moved to town 2 years ago and asked around for a good pizza place. Lots of people said Rowley Pizza Factory and they were right. Fast delivery if that is what you are looking for. A clean place to sit and eat (no frills but fast, friendly and clean) and most importantly the food is really good. Great subs and calzones. Incredibly friendly! They know most of their customers by name. Portion sizes are enormous. The fried zucchini and mushrooms are tasty. We have been getting our pizza here for years. The owners are just the nicest, always remember us. The pizza is delicious and always ready when I go to pick it up. If you order two large pizzas you get a 3rd small cheese on the house which we always freeze for another day. The family that owns and operates Rowley Pizza Factory is always very courteous and welcoming to their customers. I would go so far as to say that they treat their customers as family, and are genuinely interested in their well being each time they visit. Rowley Pizza factory has almost always cooked my pizza orders to near perfection. And, they don't skimp out when adding toppings as many other pizza joints are notorious for doing. I have not ordered anything else off the menu enough times to give a fair assessment, but I can't remember a time when I was displeased with an order. Prices are average to good. When you buy a pizza here, you typically save between 10-15% as compared to ordering from other joints such as Dominos, Rowley House of Pizza, or Olive Cafe. Canned and bottled beverages are on the pricey side, but not everything is perfect. If you haven't, please give Rowley Pizza Factory a try. Quiet, slow. Came around 3pm on a Saturday. Walked in and the tables were dirty of crumbs and dust. Soda cans were dirty on the top. Always best to check before u open ur can. If you're looking for good food with horrible service this is the place for you. The counter help will take your order while multitasking phone orders and hand your order off to the cook before you've even completed it. When your order arrives at the counter and you notify them that it's not correct be prepared to be humiliated in front of other customers. You will be told it's your fault, educated on the menu that lists "salad" with no ingredients listed, and they will proceed to scrape off whatever you didn't want. You will be told repeatedly "for future reference...." as if they expect you to ever return. When you finally tell them you will never return, you will be told, "that's your choice." We drive here at least once a week from Melrose since discovering it. THE BEST pizza in the area. Chicken parm calzone and steak and cheese calzone are out of this world good! Will be a regular customer while passing all local pizza places, including Santarpio's in Saugus to go here. Friendly service and reasonable prices. You can tell this place prides themselves on quality. Totally worth the ride and if you take it to go, just throw it in the oven right when you get home and it's perfect. We just moved up from Boston Ma where you can get really good pizza and subs almost everywhere. We were having a problem finding that until we found the Rowley Pizza Factory!!! Love the pizza and steak and cheese. Other than some fries that's all we have tried so far. I believe it's a husband and wife team that own it. The husband does delivery's and is super pleasant. Looking forward to exploring the menu a little more. Tonight we ordered chicken teriyaki dinner with rice but I'm writing this review as we are waiting for delivery so I'll update on that! We had the Greek Pizza, a Veggie Calzone and the Chicken Kabob Salad. Everything was delicious! The pizza crust was excellent and the toppings were very fresh. The chicken was nicely seasoned and the salad dressing was very tasty (and unique!) The only problem was that we were so full that we barely made a dent in the calzone. We took the rest home. This appears to be a family run business. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. It appears that they do a large take-out business. The pizza is good, just enough toppings for pizza. The crust is wonderful, as well as the cheese. Above all else, it is cheap for pizza! The owners are wonderful, when all I had was an American Express card, and he doesn't take AmEx, so I had to go get cash, and that took some time. But he stayed open past nine for me to go get the cash and get the pizza. Truly a great man. Pizza Factory is always so good! They're very easy to work with and always willing to accommodate if you want to change/add something to a pizza, salad, or sub. I definitely recommend coming by the new store; it looks very nice and is always very clean. They have recently added new menu options and they're all very good. I've been eating at Pizza Factory for many years, and even with the other pizza joints around I still choose them almost every time. I LOVE their steak tip salads. The steak tips are so tender and flavorful. And the house dressing is home-made, and it is phenomenal. I also love their chicken finger plates, which come with a big portion of fries and onion rings. Dinners also come with a side salad (with the phenomenal home-made dressing on it). The owners are very nice and they are very personable. This Place is amazing. Great service and great food. The owners are soooooo friendly . My kids are soo obsessed with the buffalo chicken pizza. the chicken kebab is by far my favorite food. By far the best meal I have ever had. It is extreamly addicting. I have to drive an hr away every week with the kids to eat at pizza Factory. I dont know where all these negative comments are coming from but I was highly reccomended by 2 of my co workers who live in the area to try the place, and I was truly so happy that I did. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills -- all of my coworkers seem to like the food but it is genuinely not very good. I have eaten their meatball sub, steak tip sub, chicken salad sub, and chicken caesar wrap and they have all been below average. Their food is not gross or weird; it's just bland and uninteresting. However, last time I ordered a chef salad for takeout, when I opened it i was overpowered by the smell of tuna...I hate tuna. I had never heard of tuna on a chef and menu didn't say tuna. I called and they did make me another salad but I had to go back out on my lunch break to get it. I thought the girl was a little snippy when I came back telling me to remember that the chef salad had tuna for next time. Sorry the smell was so bad from the tuna that it wrecked my meal and I don't think that I will go back. read more
