Chicken Biscuit - This was tender, fresh, and AMAZING! The biscuit was soft and excellent too!!

While in the area for business I came here for breakfast one morning... The manager who was working the counter was friendly and very helpful. The place was spotless, clean, well-decorated for the holidays, and very welcoming! The food was excellent and fresh! Prices are decent too. Not sure why Roy's doesn't do better because they're seriously better than McDonalds (150% better!) and they're better than most other fast food joints. I miss being able to come to a Roy Roger's more often, because they closed so many, but when I get the opportunity to go, I'm never disappointed! STOP IN FOR GOOD FAST FOOD!!!

One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches of all time is the Sourdough Egg, Ham and Cheese. It always tastes made to order and very fresh. The sourdough bread is toasted but soft on the inside. Love it! I ordered through GrubHub. My only complaint was the coffee was lukewarm. That's why the three stars.

It's been a while since I've been to roy rogers but I was in the neighborhood. First thing is this location was so clean, I couldn't believe it. I went up to order and I believe it was the manager who took my order and she was the nicest, sweetest woman I've met in a long time. Her demeanor was everything. Now to the food, I love Roy rogers fries! They were hot and so good. The chicken was hot, crispy, juicy and well seasoned. I don't know if it's because I haven't had it in a while or it was just this location but the food was a 9! I'm so glad I stopped in.

The absolutely delicious pumpkin pie milkshake! :)

When I first moved to DC years ago, there was a Roy Rogers very close to my complex. We didn't have Roy Rogers where I lived growing up, and I had only been to them a few times over the years when on vacation. So, the novelty factor kicked in, and I literally went everyday for a week, until I got it out of my system. Unfortunately, that location soon after closed up shop, and I have only been to a Roy Rogers a few times over the years since then (always when I was on the road). So, when I found myself in Leesburg yesterday taking my son to an appointment and there was suddenly a Roy Rogers in site, I was so excited to go there for lunch! While Roy Rogers has definitely changed over the years, it was still a fun and very yummy experience! The décor was cute, with a western feel, and the TV was set to ESPN! The staff was friendly and helpful, including coming up to me while we were eating to see if there was anything I needed! I got a cheeseburger special, and my son got the fried chicken tenders special. His came with a biscuit and happily for me he doesn't like biscuits! But the best thing for me was the Pumpkin Pie milkshake! It was definitely the absolute perfect timing for a visit!! It tasted perfect! Exactly what a pumpkin milkshake should taste like! The cheeseburger was delicious, and it was great being able to go to Roy's Fixin's Bar, which had a nice selection of toppings and sauces! While I stuck to ketchup and mayonnaise for my burger, I got several sauces for my fries! They were great! The biscuit was wonderful! Extremely flavorful! I didn't even need to add butter, though they did provide me with some. Their breakfast egg biscuit sandwiches must be so good! It was a totally delicious meal, though I was soooo stuffed after! But now I already miss that Pumpkin Pie milkshake! I need to find more excuses to get to Leesburg!

DoubleRBar Burger! Mmmmmmmmm! Added the horseradish to the top bun, then applied iceberg lettuce, onion slices, and a tomato slice, then some yellow mustard onto the ham in the burger. Then devoured hungrily! Burger was hot and delicious! Fries were hot and crispy. Icy cold lemonade was refreshing!

It's a shame that Roy Rogers isn't has abundant in restaurants as it was in the 80s and 90s. IMO, RR has THE best tasting roast beef sandwiches and fried chicken in the area. Not to mention the fixin's bar (create your own salad ;) ) for your burgers and sandwiches. Coca Cola Freestyle machine? Yep! Country music in the background? Yep! Just love this place. 2 locations in Leesburg but the one off Rt 7 is the better one in terms of service and food!

I cheated and stopped by here before lunch. My Attorney's office was just down the street, and this place is the only location of a handful that are left in this area. And since I drove all the way over here to Leesburg, I had no other choice. Everyone knows that this place is famous for their roast beef sandwiches, and I've known it for years- trust me! I decided to order the large roast beef sandwich instead of just the regular because it wouldn't have made much sense, when Would pay just $2.00 more for the large sandwich. I took a picture of this as I was adding the barbeque sauce. Once I got to my car I began to take a few bites, and it's been awesome so far!

I treasure all Roys that are left... That is why I must rate one from this chain. I've had a very different experience than all the negative reviews. I've actually been treated EXCEPTIONALLY WELL at this location. My orders have always been extremely quick and the foods is well, expectedly something Roy Rogers would proudly put his name on! I've never seen it particularly full, so it's nice just to sit, relax, and enjoy the great chicken with mashed potatoes!

Puccio's is the only place in the area that I know of to get this. Eating it transports me to my favorite delis in New York! Puccio's Penn Station, sliced grilled chicken with hot peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo is a great choice for lunch! My only wish is that they had sesame seeded Italian bread. Then maybe I could get a roast beef hero like a used to get in New York. I digress, Puccio's is clean, the staff is friendly, and everything I've ever ordered has been at least, very good. Highly recommended!

I'm from NY and their title included New York Deli, so that was a positive sign. I went there, checked out the menu and ordered a Verrazano, which is a Roast Beef and Turkey with Provolone. I asked if I could substitute Pastrami for the Roast Beef and the counter guy said okay. Great. Paid, tipped and went home. Pop open a Heineken, opened the bag ready to eat and there was no Pastrami on the sandwich. There wasn't even Roast Beef. It was only Turkey. So I paid for a 2 meat option but got only 1. Normally I would call and go back to correct the order, but That was a huge miss, so I just ate the Turkey Sandwich and called it a day and needless to say, won't be going back.

The sandwich was at least overflowing and the bread tasty, sort of a cheddar jalapeño bread but..something was definitely missing in the chicken. For the price of a PB&J, you could buy a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter, and a jar of jelly and make 10 of them. I think they tried to price kids items like adult meals. It was crowded at lunch time, some inside seating, looked like more outside. Parking is in a lot nearby but can fill up. Plenty of drinks and such. Kind of an ordinary deli with comparatively good prices for adult meals when held up against other places in the area.
