Bought a 2017 GMC Sierra SLT used with 30K on her. Here I am thinking this is my dream truck. I asked my salesman why someone would trade in such a beautiful truck? The vehicle seemed Okay at first, but there was an engine miss. I spoke to service, they said this was typical for this engine. They took it in and found nothing. As soon as I got home I took a road trip with it. Notice hard shifts on the trans and sometimes I HAD POWER, sometimes not. I waited better than 3 months to see of I could get used to the trans clunks & the on & off power. I called service manager Mike scheduled an appointment.. Never made it in went and traded this beautiful piece of junk. I have been a GM guy for ever. Once I heard the problems that these vehicles had I knew why the guy before me traded it in. Funny part of it all, other car guys new exactly what the problem features were on this vehicle, I should have called them instead listening to another salesman. The sales end makes promises on top of promises to ensure the sale but will not do anything to follow through. The service department is another story. One person makes promises and tells you one thing but then when you actually go nothing was told to the next person than they want to charge you this fee on top of this fee on top of this fee. Visited Royal Cadillac Buick GMC service department for oil change, tire rotation and balance service on 17 Sep 2013. Service writers Chris Beittenmiller and Chad Drury could not figure what was on their own website and kept trying to overcharge us. They clearly did not know what was on their own web site and we had a very hard time getting them to even look it up! Even then they couldn't get it right. Second time we have had problems with their service depatment. Previous problem involved a 200% overcharge. Result is we left the dealership and we took my wife's Buick elsewhere for service. I really was appreciative of Sam and his time to ensure I was provided with the best deal possible. I told him my budget and what I was comfortable with paying and left the dealership with the car I wanted at the price that I wanted. Brought in my Cadillac SRX just for a regular oil change. It took them two hours to just change the oil! Also, I had to go to the counter to request that they actually give me my car back after two hours since they seemed to have no concern for their customers' time. Do not take your vehicle to Royal Buick. We took our car in for a regular oil change three weeks ago. Three weeks later we are still waiting... We picked the car up several times only to discover it still leaking oil and smoking despite over 1,000 dollars of repair. There apparently isn't a mechanic there who knows what he's doing. Eddie, our service advisor, didn't know which car was ours or why it was even there for the first two weeks. Neither did he care. The managers don't either. They refuse to come talk to the customer despite bring customer service managers. We are back in the loaner, biding our time, waiting to hear more excuses. They also broke our door lock and tossed the broken piece on the car mat. Never take your vehicle here. We have pretty much wrote ours off now. read more

I was in transit from California to South Texas when the issue began with the Diesel Exhaust Fluid and the 'check engine light' was on on my 2012 GMC Sierra Duramax . I pulled in at the dealership at 645 AM on Monday hoping that my truck could be evaluated. Service advisor Mike Vanerem told me they would do a diagnosis and would call me later which he did and told me what the issues were and said they needed to keep the truck for the day. Mike called me around 230 PM and said the truck was ready. That's what I call Great Service by Mike and Tech Joshua Dewitt! I made it fine to my home in Texas. I did not have any other issues with the DEF system or the 'check engine light'. Thank you! As for the two young men hanging around in front of the service desk ... they were great, they guided me to my truck to get some stuff before I left. read more

I went over to Royal Buick to schedule for a oil change on my saab and spoke with Chad the service adviser and he told me that he need to order the oil filter a day or two in advance since saab went out of business, So I call a few days later to order a filter but he was busy so left a message, and a week went by so I called again and left another message and nothing again. So I went over there and he was out to lunch and spoke with someone else and he took my vin #, name and number and still nothing. So pretty much they just don't give a dam, and they just could of told me to take my business some where else in the first place. read more

I've had the distinct pleasure of working with Fernando for two purchases in the past month for our company. He was extremely professional, courteous, and respectful of our time. As a business owner, the time I have available comes in spurts. Time allotted fills up or frees up in a moment. He was always accommodating and understood our need to do thorough research and ensure the correct purchase was made. It went so well with the first purchase, we came back a couple of weeks later to make a second....when we weren't really considering GMC for that purpose. The salesman I dealt with was AJ and it was probably the least amount of pressure I ever encountered with a dealership. I was also looking at another vehicle at another dealership and I felt a pressured by them and not happy with their "deal" I would highly recommend Royal and AJ! The only item I would suggest to buyers is to make sure they know what the existing warranty is on the vehicle if they are looking at a used vehicle. My husband and I recently purchased a Cadillac ATS from Royal and really enjoyed the whole process. Saber was our sales person and he guided me through building the car of my dreams in a couple of hours. The sales team did a great job of keeping me posted while the car was being built and once the car arrived they notified us immediately. The delivery of the car was awesome! I received a Cadillac Ipad that has tutorials on how to use all the features on the car. They introduced us to our service advisor and toured the dealership. I was surprised to see that there is cafe with a chef that cooks breakfast and lunch (which I am really looking forward to trying, it smelled delicious). I purchased a brand new 2018 GMC Terrain in December and have had nothing but trouble. The purchase process at Royal GMC is great, but the service department is another story. Chris Savastano is a great asset to the company and has done everything that he could, within his powers, to resolve my issue. My issue is not with Chris, but with Royal GMC in general. I have had to take my car in to have it repaired three times now for the same issue and they've replaced the same part twice, and provided a service update from GM during my second visit to try to resolve my issue. Other's in the Service Department are not as pleasant as Chris and can be condescending as if they don't believe that my car isn't functioning proper. I've resolved myself to video record the issues now so that I can. be believed. It is very frustrating to be treated in this manner after spending the money to purchase a new car so that I could have confidence traveling, but I do not have confidence in this vehicle after the third repair for the same exact issue, and I don't have confidence in Royal GMC either. read more

After calling this morning to get information on a used car, I called back at 12:30 and told Mike and Lea I would be driving down to test drive the truck and would be arriving at the dealership around 2:00 pm. I confirmed with Mike that the truck was still at the dealership. He said yes. Then at 1:00 pm Lea called and told me the truck had sold, but they had comparable trucks on the lot. When we arrived at the dealership Mike said that a salesman would show us the comparable trucks. Needless to say, they did not have any comparable trucks on their lot (yes, some were comparable in price, but not comparable with the equipment packages). Before leaving we spoke with Mike again and I expressed my frustration as customer and what had happened. He said there was nothing he could do and that is just what happens at a car dealership. Our 2001 Buick with 144,000 miles air-conditioning was on it's last legs so we started looking for a good used car to replace it. The person we purchased the 2001 from had retired but we had his phone number and he referred us to another salesman at Royal. I called and told him what our budget was and made an appointment to see him on Wed. AM. My wife and I spent Tuesday wondering up and down Auto Mall Drive looking at used cars from other dealers. It was hot and dusty and most of the cars did not have a price on them and some still had the cookie crumbs in them from the old owners. We were interested on one dirty car and asked to be called when it was clean. We were told it might be gone by then. 9 AM Wed. morning we met with Dave Hoffman at Royal, Inside with coffee and water waiting. Dave had brought 4 cars up to show us. All were spotless and ready to drive and had prices listed. After the test drives we decided on a 2007 Lucerne with very low mileage. Royal gave us a good trade in on the 2001 and we were home by 1PM. Royal made it a very enjoyable time spending our hard earned money and my wife is happy she does not have to worry about the a/c going out now that it's 100 degrees. Made an appointment for 9am, today, September 16, to have my 2001 Saturn looked at since we needed some -GM- related service. Kris Savastano was the contact person. At 11:10am, we were told that our car had not been looked at yet but would be soon. At 11:30am we went outside to walk our dog and asked him, was our car in a bay yet? He said yes and we proceeded to ask why it was taking so long, and with an appointment? He was rude and made excuses that they were busy and understaffed. Really, this my problem and why as a customer did I need to know about their staffing issue? I realize people get busy and things can get backed up, HOWEVER, this is no excuse for poor customer service. We also received a hand written estimate with missing information! Hand written! Come on, really, how unprofessional was that? We will not use this dealership for our need and go elsewhere, where we can be treated as a valued customer, not someone wasting their time! read more
