Wanted to go here for years.. finally was able to go! Got the Mixed Berry Sweet Crepe. Pretty overpriced considering it was ten dollars for one crepe. The plating wasn't that great and the wait time took insanely long. We were the only customers there although there were some people taking to-go orders so if I came here again I would definitely get a to-go order. The taste was average.. I could probably make something better at home. Overall.. 3 stars and I would recommend only if you want takeout and don't mind spending a bit. read more

I've tried most of the crepes on the menu and I have to say they are delicious! My favorites are; Cinnamon bun, s'mores and white and dark chocolate. The savory crepes are also pretty good. The restaurant itself is pretty chill as per the atmosphere. I'm not sure why so many negative comments on the staff being rude- they are from southeastern Europe, it's a different culture. Not everyone needs to crack a smile to be deemed pleasant. lol. My experiences there have always been fine. If you haven't tried here before and are looking for something different, it's so worth it! read more

This place is INCREDIBLE! My kids LOVE watching the crepes being made, and choosing what they want inside. Especially the dessert crepes, to die for! I am never disappointed by the food here. It is absolutely delicious! You can taste the quality of ingredients. Give the burek a try - you will fall in love. I love that they have a market where you can buy imported teas, jams, meats, cheeses, sweets the list goes on... all from Europe and at a very reasonable price. I just want to address one thing first I seen someone crap on this place about. No this isn't a extremely thin French crepe. This is a little thicker of a "crepe" common in other parts of Europe. With that said, it's delicious! I like the thickness and filling ratio, sometimes when you get a traditional crepe I feel there is so much filling I can't taste the actual crepe. I had the berry crepe and it was full of fresh wonderfully sweet, ripe berries wrapped in a sweet, chewy crepe. I can't wait to try the other varieties on my future visits. One thing I love about this place is the Eastern European meats, cheeses, drinks, and snacks you can buy. I'm a sucker for international junk food and drinks, this place has a great variety of interesting choices. Service was very quick and who I think is the owner made my crepe and was very nice. Next time your in Beacon give Royal crepe a go and I think you will be satisfied. read more

Came here with my hubby upon seeing this new crepe place at Beacon - the service was OK, decor was nice and comfortable, but I think what's great was their crepes!! I tried the savory chicken crepe while my hubby had the mixed berry one. Both came out really good and tasty! It's been years since I had a crepe, so finding Royal Crepes while strolling through downtown Beacon was a pleasant surprise. It's a small place where you order your food at the counter and find a seat until it is ready. My wife had the fruit crepe and I had the Samore crepe. The crepes were large in size and folded over several times. They were light and gently browed. My wife's fruit crepe was delicious. My Samore crepe tasted like something a child would enjoy. I had hoped it would have been something fun but still unique. Not sophisticated as I hoped it would be. I love this place! Been there twice in the last week. First time had the meat and cheese Burek. It was very good. Flaky pastry filled with ground beef and cheese. My son said it is "what his dreams would taste like". Second time I had the Salmon crepe. Filled with salmon, feta and a unbelievably good roasted red pepper spread. Topped with a fried egg and served with a side salad. Also tried the Cinnamon Bun and the PB and Banana. Everything was excellent. The decor is rustic/homey but cool. I ate in the (cute) restaurant last week (chicken and mushroom crepe--very tasty), but I took home a burek pastry (spinach, feta) to have for breakfast the next day. It was enough for two breakfasts--and was delicious. Since then, I've tried the meat and cheese burek--also delish. I also bought a jar of avjar, the pepper spread they serve with the savory crepes, and I'm addicted.
