Large selection of Chinese foods, appetizers, entrees, veggies, even non-Chinese sushi. Rather oily. I do wonder is they use MSG?

Great place when you're hungry. Nice selection of dishes. Reasonably priced. I'd recommend it.

Once in a while I crave Chinese food, and this place does the job for me! The owner, Fred, is super…read morenice!! One day I was rambling to him about how parking in Downtown NC can be rough, so it can be a challenge to stop by for takeout. He was like, "Oh! Just call me when you are in your car out front, and I'll bring it out to you." What a trooper. I haven't taken him up on that, but I really appreciated the gesture!

Someone told me that this is the place to go for Chinese food so I had to try it…read more Placed an order for pick up, took about 20 minutes... but parking SUCKS!!!! So I drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a spot that was remotely close to run in a get my food... I'd recommend taking someone with you so you can drop them off and you can drive around the block in order to pick them back up. I got the dragon and phoenix which had good flavor... shrimps were cooked perfect, the chicken is breading pretty heavy and the sauce is a lil spicy, I also had some white steamed rice; not sure if it is supposed to have a light coconut flavor if not but being that I am super sensitive to coconut I didn't like it and had to toss it. Hubby ordered the sweet n sour chicken, it was the typical same flavor sauce that most places have with the same type of breaded chicken as mine was just different sauce.. he said he wished there was more sauce since some of his pieces were not coated.. over all things were alright but nothing special. Maybe it was what I ordered. There is a lil lobby that was congested with 3 people so I waited outside till one left... not sure how the dining area is as I did not walk into that area. Staff were friendly.

FOOD - Walnut Shrimp: battered shrimp with candied walnuts…read moreover broccoli. The shrimp wasn't crunchy enough. Walnut shrimp is my go-to when I have Chinese food so I'm a little bit of a walnut shrimp snob. This was pretty mid. 3.5/5 - Mongolian Beef: beef with onions, red bell peppers, and bok choy. The flavor was pretty good. The beef was tender enough. 3.75/5 - Orange Chicken combo: orange chicken with chow mein, and egg roll. The chicken wasn't dry but not very tender either. The flavor was okay. The chow mein and vegetable egg roll were pretty standard. 3.5/5 - Fried Rice and 4 Dumpling set combo: the fried rice was, also, pretty standard. The pork dumplings were pretty good. The side of wonton soup was good. 3.75/5 SERVICE: Service was pretty fast and friendly. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: Everything was okay. Nothing was bad, just nothing to write home about.

Service is always good -- nice friendly staff. Food is pretty authentic Cantonese but even though they're good with their Xiao Long Baos and dumplings, we don't come for the dumplings and baos since they tend to fill us up too fast. Our regular standbys are the Salt & Pepper spareribs, garlic green beans, orange chicken, cucumber salad, Singapore noodles, chive dumplings...

This has become one of my favorite spots because everything I've tried has been consistently delicious. If it's your first visit, here are my must-order dishes: Baked Pork Buns - These are AMAZING. The outside has a lightly crispy, sweet coating while the inside is soft and filled with flavorful pork. You get three, and I could easily eat every single one myself. Chow Mein - My favorite chow mein in the area. I don't know what magic they put into these noodles, but they always hit the spot. I've had the chicken version and it's fantastic. Pork Soup Dumplings - Packed with rich, savory broth and well-seasoned pork. My kids absolutely love these. Garlic Green Beans - Don't skip these! Yes... they're green beans, but they're perfectly crisp, loaded with garlic, and surprisingly addictive. Ask for extra garlic if you're a fellow garlic lover. Black Pepper Fish Fillet - One of my favorite dishes on the menu. Crispy fish bites tossed in a light black pepper sauce with just the right amount of flavor. If you enjoy fish, this is a must-order. Shumai - A great little side to round out your meal. The restaurant does get busy during lunch and dinner, so be prepared for a wait during peak hours. It's absolutely worth it, though. Great food, plenty of variety, and every visit leaves me planning what I'm ordering next time. Highly recommend!
