(Pro tip, place your order and use the connecting door that leads from the bar to the Dragon Boat. You can then enjoy an adult beverage & they will bring your food over when ready) Fried rice had shrimp, chicken, bbq pork, scallions and was pretty tasty. A large quantity as well. LOVE THEIR FRIED RICE AND WONTON SOUP!! The portions are huge!! Check out my pic!! I called in for pick up about 7:55pm on Sunday, thought they close at 9pm but they actually close at 8:30pm. The guy told me just come in and place an order instead. I got my ordered within 15mins, since they were about to close I decided to take my food outside the Worton's Market to enjoy. They totally forgot to give me the utensils so I had to use the lid of the soup container to scoop up my rice. :-( But the rice and the soup are delicious, I highly recommend getting them if you are up for some fried rice. read more

The staff is always nice so no criticisms there. However, the quality of the food is inconsistent. For example, ordered potstickers once and it looked like they had been sitting out on the counter for hours, all dried up, the fried rice is greasy and tastes like stale old oil. We love having a Chinese food restaurant in town but only go there in a pinch. Would rather drive down to Auburn for good Chinese food. Very sad. read more

I'm so happy this is near my parents house. We go here often to eat the yummy inexpensive good. When we go for dinner we do one of the family dinners. Great selections and it's so much food we always have leftovers. This time we went for lunch which is a great deal. 7-8$ a person. I told the guy at Dragon Boat I wanted to eat there though he asked to go first. I had to tell him again I wanted to eat there. He sat me at a very small table but waited at the counter for me to place my order. I ordered the dinner special even though it was lunchtime just because I wanted a little bit of everything, which was nice because most places will not honor that for lunch. He made me pay after he took my order but before I got my food. The food came out fast, fresh and piping hot. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It came with chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, egg roll and a crab rangoon. The food itself was delicious, especially the egg roll and chicken. I was disappointed the sweet and sour chicken had no pineapple and the chow mein was so greasy I barely touched it. I ordered water and he gave me a water bottle. Everything was given to me in a to-go box and bag when I specifically said I wanted to eat there. At first I thought he was being judgmental on my appearance, as I don't look like a local. But after talking to some locals I realized that this is how they've been treating their customers since covid. This place is AWFUL and try to scam and double charge you!! My family was in the area visiting and decided to go order some take out. We arrived and it took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged as no one was at the counter upon arrival. A man took our order and when it was time to finally pay he kept swiping my card and charged us TWICE for our order. Over $100 for 2 family dinner plates. so ridiculous. I was getting the notifications on my phone of the transactions so i know I was not wrong. We confronted him about it and he became nervous and it was hard to communicate with him due to his thick accent. He canceled one of the transactions but the other was pending. And he just walked out to the back after stealing our money!! We felt so uncomfortable and left!!! I had to dispute the charge with my bank. BE CAREFUL AT THIS PLACE. Out in the middle of the beautiful forest, I came across this Resturant and OMG the best Pork Fired Rice and Orange Chicken I've had. We had this for the first time this evening. It was outstanding. While they have take-out there isn't any dine in. We got Wor Wonton Soup; Schezuan Prawns; Broccoli Beef; Kungpoa Chicken & Shrimp Fried Rice. All of the food was made with fresh ingredients & spices. It was delicious & we will definitely be back. Such a good spot for Chinese food. I can't believe the quality and value in such a small town. My food was delicious and the combo plate had so much variety, not to mention it was enourmous! I had broccoli beef which came with pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, an egg roll, cream cheese wonton and sweet and sour sauce. DINE IN ONLY!!! The story goes like this: We live over on the 80 side of the river up near Colfax. We always had heard of this amazing restaurant in Foresthill for Chinese, and made the drive over a couple of Sundays ago. We read on the internet, got the hours, and arrived a little after 6pm, well inside closing time. We we walked in, no one was at the register. A couple of men were seated at a table behind a low wall and we could see their heads but not the table itself. There were 1-2 other customers, people looking to be waiting for takeout. I was happy to see we could be seated quickly and be enjoying a meal soon. Except we couldn't. The lady came out and asked us what we ordered. I replied we were not take out customers. The look on her face said it all. She replied "No dine in take out only". Shocked I said "Um, there was nothing on the yelp page saying that" and she replied "Oh we don't do that". I asked if it was just Sundays or every day and got the look again when she said "We have been take out since the pandemic" as if I should have known that somehow. Then she went to help take out customers. We grabbed menus as we stood there and decided to get food to go and eat in the car if necessary. When the lady came back I asked "How long of a wait for a takeout order" and again I got a look that inferred I said something wrong. She said "We have a lot of orders tonight" excused herself and went back to the kitchen again. At this point, I just decided to cut my losses. When she came back out I said we were leaving and would try again some other time and call an order in. She didn't seem disappointed at all and we left, grabbing a take out menu...walking to the car I laughed when my SO noticed it said "dine in" right on the menu still. Pic enclosed. I don't want to hate on anyone, but it really sucked to drive all the way over there and have that result. We went to Bambu Garden last night in Roseville, which, though more expensive, thee dishes are incredible and the portions worth every cent. We are always welcomed and treated so well and the place is immaculate inside. We try to "shop local" and explore new places (to us) but this kind of stuff is annoying. Also, sure enough I checked Dragon Boat's Yelp page...and they don't even claim it so that backs up her statement that the "don't do that" meaning no internet presence.
