The biscuits were soft, pillowy, perfection. I imagine the closest Italian equivalent would be someone's Nonna's centuries-old secret gnocchi recipe. We scarfed everything down while stealing glances at each other which wordlessly spoke, "Where are we? Is this where Waffle House got its inspiration?
