Very thin piece of small fish. Recipe is the same- it's good- just more expensive and smaller portions.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP This has been my go-to for fantastic fish and chips for years now. Ramiro, who has been serving up crunchy, perfectly battered fish & chips for decades retired when the restaurant was sold. In August new owners took over. I spoke to them in their first week when I was there with my mom- we are regulars. They were very nice. We begged them to not change the fish and chips. They assured us they weren't going to change anything. Mid September, my mom and I went again. The menu had been updated with price increases of around $2.00 across the board. Fine- I get it. New owners, lots of expenses. But when we got our food- the fish was thinner and smaller, and the portions were much less generous. They didn't change the recipe- just everything else. . . We gave it another chance last week. Same small, thin pieces of fish in smaller portions, at a higher price. We were so disappointed. I had hoped the new owners would be there so we could give them some feedback, but they were not. So I'll leave my suggestion here in case they see it. Smaller fish and stingy portions won't keep your regulars coming back. Time to find a new fish and chips shop. So sad.

I've eaten here a few times. It's an average sized restaurant on the inside. Nothing to write home about. There are a usually a few people working so service here is usually quick, even when they deliver. The portion sizes are large, you can have definitely have food for 2 days. (Pro tip: if you have an air fryer you can reheat and it will taste fine) Prices are reasonable here for the amount of food you get. I ordered chicken and chips, tenders and fries and 2 orders of fish and chips for a small family birthday party. The fish I was told was fine, but everyone said the fries were old and over cooked on all meals. I had the chicken and it was dry, oily and overly breaded, which unfortunately happens too often here. I was told the chicken tenders tasted old and dry as well. I'm not sure I will continue to order food here for myself, since for me I don't eat a lot of fish and the kitchen hasn't really been good for me.

Love their fish and chips and stuffs are friendly , small restaurant, not a fancy but you ll live their food

First time coming here and as soon as you walk into this establishment, you can smell the crispiness in the air. They have a lot of options to choose from, but i stuck with their authentic fish and chips, and i also ordered their soft shell crab. Once you order, they fry the food in front of you and the portions are big and not pricey at all. Took a bite into the fish amd chips amd loved it. The fish and chips is crispy and flavorful. And their fries are crispy. Very good fish and chips. I will be coming back.

The fish was decent. What really made it "authentic" was the Kraft PACKETS of tartar sauce!! Nothing says British style fish and chips more than cheap ass tartar sauce. It's not difficult to make Tartar Sauce, perhaps they could learn to make their own?

    Stephen B.

If you like English "Fish & Chip's" do try this restaurant. The fish is cooked and tastes just like in the UK, but the "chips" to be really authentic could be improved; maybe larger and not so dry! Try Royal Guard, I keep going back!

When the delivery arrived, I was shocked to find that I received a completely different order--yet the bag had my name on it. I called the restaurant to sort things out, hoping for a simple solution. However, the gentleman who answered was not only unhelpful but downright rude. He seemed completely unconcerned about the mix-up and offered no accountability or resolution. It was frustrating to feel dismissed and treated like my concerns didn't matter. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of customer service compounded my disappointment. I initially wanted to enjoy the meal I had ordered, so receiving something entirely different was disheartening enough, but the "oh well" attitude from the staff made it even worse. I won't be ordering from here. Good food is important, but customer service is just as crucial. Disappointing experience all around.

Seamore's sends out these coupon deals after you have eaten with them. I received one, and tired to redeem it online to receive I believe 10-15% off my take out meal, and of course it didn't work. When I got to the restaurant and explained to whom seemed like a manger he had no idea what I was talking about and didn't even try to help me nor give me the discount anyway. His dismissive unwillingness to satisfy a returning customer off a coupon from this establishment for a discount which I showed him on my phone left a bad taste in my mouth. Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient--right off Exit 6 on I-95--and unlike most places around here, they have a massive private parking lot so finding a spot is never an issue. Inside, it's huge, but it still manages to keep that classic diner warmth. They also have a full-service bar with TVs if you just want to grab a drink and catch a game. At this point, I've tried practically every entree on the menu, and honestly, the food and service never miss. There's a reason this place was featured on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. A few personal standouts after coming here so often: * Breakfast & Soups: You can order breakfast all day, but do not overlook their housemade soups. We almost always grab a quart of the Chicken Noodle or the Chicken Matzoh Ball to go. * Salads: If you want greens, the signature salads are excellent. If you don't want meat, get the Arthur Avenue Salad (the fried eggplant and fresh mozz combo is perfect). If you want chicken, go for the Crispy Chicken Paillard or the Balsamic Chicken with mandarin oranges and crispy noodles. * Mains: If you love red meat, the ribs are so tender they literally fall off the bone. The Mediterranean dishes are also a major highlight--especially the Greek Gyro. And if you're craving seafood, the Seafood Fra Diavolo (shrimp, scallops, mussels, and calamari over linguini) has a fantastic spicy kick. As great as the food is, it's really the people that keep regulars coming back. The staff is incredible. Getting to know Laura and Ari has been the best part of eating here. They treat you like family the second you walk through the door. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite off the highway or looking for a regular neighborhood spot, you can't beat this place. Pro-Tip: When you're ordering take-out from here, do yourself a favor and use the Slice app. I stopped using the major delivery apps because their 20-30% commission fees just bloat the final bill for everyone. Slice is entirely dedicated to supporting local, independent spots instead of massive corporate chains, so the restaurant doesn't get hammered on margins and you aren't paying inflated prices. Plus, it's super easy to customize your order right through the app.

From the moment we walked in, the hospitality from the staff, and chef made us feel right at home. We started drinks with a Strawberry Cosmo and a Paloma Spritz. Both refreshing and dangerously strong in the best way possible. For apps we came for the Crispy Duck on Sushi Rice, and as someone who usually scared to eat duck, this completely changed my mind. The duck was unbelievably crispy, similar to crispy prosciutto, and paired perfectly with their special sauce. We also had to do the Crab Cake was another standout, especially with the house-made Green Goddess dressing. The chef even came out to explain how he prepares the sauce, which made the experience feel much more special. For the entrees, we ordered the Linguine Fra Diavolo, loaded with perfectly cooked shrimp and the perfect amount of spice, alongside the Steak & Chips finished with a truffle vinaigrette. Somehow, every single dish just kept getting better. And because we clearly hadn't eaten enough, we had to try the Bacon Mac & Cheese Balls with smoked tomato sauce. I honestly could've eaten an entire plate of those. To end our meal, the chef surprised us with his Duck Egg Brownie, and it was one of the softest, fudgiest brownies I've ever had. A 2 hour train ride sounds crazy... but Flinders Lane made it absolutely worth the trip. I can't wait to come back to try the kangaroo!
