Dozen donuts and donut holes
Amy V.

Stopped by to grab some donuts for a party and the workers were so nice. Donuts were not my favorite as they're a little too dense for my liking. Definitely bring cash as they do not accept card!

The cinnamon roll had no cinnamon though out the donut, only on top. The place was nice just small family owned business.

A dozen

I purchased a dozen donuts I believe it was $17 for a mix. Sadly they were not nearly as fresh as I remember which is the soul reason I loved this place. I really hope to try again as they have such a large selection and even a couple tables if you wanted to eat inside. Be prepared to know what you want as there is often a line out the door in the morning and they are trying to get to everyone as kindly and quickly as possible.

This donut shop has been a Vallejo staple for a very long time and I've been following him around ever since I was a little girl. They now have a favorite of mine that I only come in for I don't want to mention what it is because then it'll be sold out LOL. Softest freshest donuts and just the right amount of frosting that also taste wonderful. I love the chocolate bars and twists. The only downside is they don't take card they take cash only that's kind of hard to do now in a cashless going society. Keep up the good work.

Update: I came on the weekend and they had more variety. Super friendly workers. I went in a few days before Saturday to ask if I can put an order for my favorite French crueler donuts. They obliged and were happy to do it.

happy birthday donuts!

Super yummy donuts! My friend asked them to make lettered donuts and showed them an example. They were able to re-create them and even provided a couple extra repeat letters in case anything went wrong during the drive. The owners are so sweet and the donuts were cute and good!

Not open for business yet @0600???

Hours of operation is incorrect. Drove here to pick up blueberry fritters and they're closed at 0600 not the posted 0530. 0630hrs daily is the correct time says the owner and he doesn't relate to Yelp. Vallejo is a fairly decent town but, one will need to be cautious of their surroundings if you're an out of towner.

Afternoon vibe

Royal Jelly Donuts has been a Vallejo business staple since I could reemember. They have changed locations a few times. If you want to do a quick donut run for your friends or family, this is the place to get it. It's your basic donut variety that people wIll like. I always get the blueberry filled. Just remember to bring cash all the time. No credit cards here.

They gave us old donuts (probably the day before). No bathroom and they only take cash.

This is the OG donut spot in Vallejo. Their donuts are rich and creamy. I'll choose Royal Jelly over any donut shop!

Boba came included with each drink option. Our daughter's Strawberry Yogurt was super sweet by the sweetened strawberry additive. The boba was flavorless. My husband enjoyed his Strawberry Mango. He said it was sweet and that is his preferred flavor profile. He did not like the boba, stating it was flavorless. I loved my Viet Coffee Crème Brûlée. It was not overtly sweet as the potency of caffeine from the Vietnamese coffee kicked my butt - just what I wanted. It was strong, well balanced with the crème brûlée and was so flavorful. I didn't even notice the boba myself. Staff were friendly. Our drinks took about ten minutes to arrive from time of order. The dining area was spacious, clean with plenty of seating available. There are two photo op walls. The drink menu is limited in my opinion, the food options are expansive. Verdict, my husband and I would definitely purchase our drinks again. The Strawberry Yogurt selected by our daughter is one go to for her, with two sips she was done. She is not a fan. I tried it and it is too sweet, stomach ache sweet and the amount of strawberry preserve added was minimal.

This review is only for the donuts, we did not order any drinks. We got the last Dubai chocolate donut for the day. It was not good. It wasn't sweet, lacked pistachio flavor, tasted nothing like the Dubai chocolate bar. Same goes for the Oreo mochi donut too. Not sweet, it tasted like it was sitting out for a while, it was stale. The service was pretty bad too. There were a lot of workers inside, but they weren't friendly. I don't recommend this place.

Just along the main strip of town, this place is busy. We stopped by early morning just a little after they were opened. Even mid week and there was a massive line already forming. They must be good. There's two entrance, first being the main where the front door is. Patio seating available along the sidewalk. And then the back entrance where the majority of the seating is outside. It's like a secret garden with all the trees and plants. Somewhat a treehouse feel as well. They have 2 levels with tables. Beautiful spot sitting there under the tree having a nice cup of joes and a beautiful pastries. Indoor also has some seating along the front and I believe there's a second floor right above the entrance. There's mainly one line for everything. You wait to place your order if you wanted pastries and food. I think you could just order drinks at counter if you're not getting food but don't quote me on that. Everyone was waiting together. Once you reach the top, there's the counter of fresh baked pastries that's made daily. Things do sell out pretty fast. We literally arrived not long after they open and the ham and cheese croissant was already sold out. Besides pastries, there's fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks were pretty good too. After you pick what you want, the cashier is at the end and that's where you pay. There's a counter at the back where drinks are picked up. The whole place has an open kitchen feel where you could actually see all the workers preparing the sweets. In the back kitchen, you could walk by and see the pastries chef preparing and putting together the fresh sweets. It's like you're part of the kitchen. It's a cute place and it does get busy. The locals know about this place so it a hot spot. The holiday makers know which their names is getting out there and making a big splash for them. We've been a few times while in town and each time, alway busy and great. Amazing pastries and good drink. It is on the pricer side but that's pretty much everywhere you go these days.
