Normally open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only. There are many vendors inside with fantastic food! Candy shop, spices, deli, furniture, produce, meats, cheeses, dairy....and of course food to actually sit and eat there! Plus, it has a mouth-watering bakery filled with delectables such as homemade breads, rolls, cakes, pies and donuts. My fav is the napoleons and my kids LOVE the peanut butter whoopie pies! The prices are a little steep all around but you are paying for the pennsylvania dutch homemade experience. (I still buy my spices, etc at Martin's farm market but the bakery here just can't be beat!) read more

Whenever I come to Htown I make sure to stop by this Dutch market. They have fresh fruits and veggies and wonderful baking supplies! I do wish they had a better cheese selection. But overall, a nice place !! read more

I can't rave about this place enough. I can go spend hours there. They have a bakery, a candy shop with amazing fudge, a deli with all home made salads & desserts, pizza, pretzels, racks of ribs, fried chicken, sandwiches, a butcher shop with awesome meats, brats, meat sticks, etc. Quilts, wood working, furniture, plants, and now a German shop that I need to get over to see since they have hot dogs in casings, oh and they have dairy and cheese. They also have an area with fresh spices and jams. The people are friendly, the young people are polite and hard working. 2 thumbs up!! read more

What a cool little place! This market is set up somewhat similar to a larger scale farmers market and has about a dozen different vendors selling everything from smoked meats to pastry's to full scale PA Dutch meals.. I highly recommend stopping in here and spending some time walking around and checking out all the different vendors. read more

I come here mainly for the pretzels! I've had their crabcake sandwich and their breakfast items but really the pretzels are my favorite. Love their pizza stuffed pretzels, as well as the chicken, bacon and cheese pretzel. I also like getting their bacon. Its a nice thick cut and reasonably priced! Check out their donuts as well! They have a blueberry fritter that's a treat! read more

High quality ... but high prices. The best buys I've found are the pulled chicken barbecue sandwich (as good as any I've ever had) and the pretzels (eat them while they're hot :)). Friends from out-of-town always want to stop by this place. read more

This market is absolutely wonderful. We were in NJ last week and went to a market like this and I hated to return home and not have access to such a great place to shop. How delighted I was to find one in Hagerstown MD. Visited there this evening after work and they have everything that the one in NJ had. No more worries - I can get everything close to home. The amish butter is really good, try it if you have never done so. The blueberry donut holes are to "die for". Best donut hole ever!!!! The chicken pot pie is fabulous. Cannot say enough about how much I enjoy shopping there. If I am not at work or home I will be at this market. read more

Love this place. So charming! So eclectic. The bakery has the best baked goods in town, imho. The candy is a retro treat. The cheese selection is fun, but not snobby chic. And the meats are fresh and tasty. The restaurants are very old-style, that include delicious German foods. And of course, it's very exceptional to delight in well-mannered employees who are polite and grateful. What a treat! read more

We recently bought a custom-made night stand here that was higher quality and less expensive than other area furniture stores. Some of the food can be a little pricy, but most of it is much higher quality than what you'd find at your grocery store. read more
