I was heading out of town after work and wanted something better than drive through fast food. Royal T is a little joint in a small lot, and they really hit the spot. Tasty, healthy sandwiches on delicious sourdough, and an option for a nice green salad on the side. Good price for the size of the sandwich to boot. read more

This cafe is a hidden gem. I'm glad I found it and that I live right by it. Everything on their menu is worth trying. I have yet to try a menu item I didn't love! If I could recommend one place to try in Manteca, Royal T Cafe is it! My personal favorites are the Royal T Omelet, salmon poke bowl and the turkey and avocado sandwich. This delivery was awesome the only thing better would have been if I had tipped her more to make up for all those people who don't. There is just no excuse not to tip larger than usual. This spot sucks, when you walk in no one greets you when they finally came out they just try to take it out order with no smile or nothing. No explanation on how to order. First time ordering inside and they give you dirty menu that you have to mark what you like in your poke bowl. Girl who works there looks like she hates her job. Never smiled once when we were there, she made me and my daughter feel like we were bothering her when we asked questions on how to order. She had a bit of an attitude, mind you it was out first time there. Then we couldn't even see what we wanted nothing was on display to order. I'm used to seeing the food I'm ordering but I don't know where they kept all their toppings?!! It was so weird and awkward ordering alone. That was my first and last time there. At least our poke bowl was ok, it wasn't as fresh as I'm used to but they really need to step up their game on their customer service. After we got our order we walked to the car and my daughter immediately said to me " mom I don't think that girl likes her job very much" and I didn't know what to say I just said "yea maybe". She didn't even crack a smile it was very uncomfortable ordering from her. Maybe you should find another job if you're that unhappy there your customers could clearly see it. read more

This place is just what Manteca needs. A cafe with FRESH FOOD! Me and my family have been coming for a few months and love all the items on the menu. But we are super excited for the new items just added. I enjoy the chicken sandwich with Avocado chipotle Cream sauce, super delicious.. My mom loves the new French toast and veggie bowl. Everything is all fresh, they even make their own potato chips. Oh and the prices are very affordable, cheaper then Panera Bread. I recommend this place for a great breakfast or lunch. read more

Great food! Located in an odd area between a tattoo parlor and cigarette shop; but don't let that scare you. This quaint little shop is a keeper! Had the salmon bagel, was awesome! I chose a plain bagel, and it had a good amount of soft cream cheese, cucumbers, tomato, and smoked salmon. Hubby had the chorizo breakfast burrito, and loved it. Large burrito full of egg and chorizo with a side of spicy rojo salsa. (Verde available too). Both came with a side, and we chose fruit. This is my new favorite cafe in Manteca, the cafe is clean, the service is great, and the food is delicious. I probably stop in about once a week. My go to favorite is the chicken sandwich! Everything I've tried has been really good! All the ingredients taste fresh! They have different options for sides, I prefer the macaroni salad or fresh fruit. My husband really likes the French toast they added to the menu. We've tried their smoothies, juices, and Milk shakes-all are delicious. They offer specialty coffees, the Carmel macchiato is my favorite. The location is near the casino next to a barber shop, so the parking in the front can be packed, but no worriers there is additional parking on the side. read more

Delicious! My friend and I went in today for the first time and were so pleasantly surprised! I had a peach tea with the BLTA and mixed greens. Everything was fresh and had so much flavor. My friend had the taco salad and grilled cheese both of which she also said was delicious. The salad was all cut into good bite sized pieces and pre mixed in the dressing which is so much easier! We stopped in today for a quick bite . Upon entering there was an intense disinfectant smell that cut thru the mask I had on . The place was clean and menu was well written out . I ordered the chicken panini and wife had the breakfast burrito. Service was good and soon after we were home awaiting our meal . Chicken was dry , panini bread was lightly toasted and fairly basic . The macaroni with corn salad was worth 1/2 spoonful and I was done . Meh . Breakfast burrito was all eggs , one slice of cheese and what looks to be bacon bits . No salsa but a small cup of ketchup. She took one bite and is now going to be my breakfast tomorrow. Same grill marks as panini . Fruit cup apparently was ok . Overall it was just ok . For us price considering it wasn't worth it .
