Robin and her team are truly excellent. We needed the HVAC of a 10,000 sq ft building cleaned, and I had no idea where to start. After calling many other HVAC cleaning companies and getting quoted $300+ just for a walk through, I stumbled upon Robin. From the first conversation she was informative and trustworthy. She had me send her a few photos and provide her with any information I had on the HVAC system (not very much...) and then provided an estimate for the project and scheduled her team to come to our space within days. A few weeks ago, I had hired a vent cleaning company who claimed they were going to clean 15 ducts in my house for $150 and be done within an hour and a half. I thought this was a great deal and hired them. They ended up not showing, and I had started to look on Google for other companies in the area. I found Royal Vent Cleaning and spoke to the owner, Robin. I explained the situation, and Robin had spoke to me for about 30 minutes explaining how the service works, how companies out there charging so little are rip offs, etc. This was all before I committed to using her company. I explained the I needed some time to think about it, as the quote she gave me was significantly higher than the quote I received from the cheaper company. After she explained how everything works I knew she wasn't ripping me off, it was just that I hadn't planned on spending that kind of money. I ended up calling Robin back and scheduling an appoint for the following weekend at 10:30am. That Saturday, Will and Keith showed up at about 10:10am. We walked around the house, showed them all of our vents, and they then began to prep. Between the survey of the house and bringing in their equipment and setting up, it took an hour right there. I don't know how the other company said they'd be in and out in 1.5 hours. The guys had said they don't think the ducts were cleaned in over 15 years. I believe them, they were AWFUL! All in all, it took about 5 hours, but my ducts are now extremely clean. They removed all the dust/dirt in there, about 5 tennis/baseballs, baseball cards, etc. They were so neat with their technique that there was no mess once they were done. They made sure to vacuum everything, and move furniture back to it's original spot if it had to be moved. The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. They made sure to take their time, and answered any questions I asked. Throughout the week between our initial call and the service/the day of the service, Robin and I were texting as if we were long time friends. Just have Royal Vent come to my moms house to clean out the dryer vent. The dryer didn't seem to be drying fast anymore. It was suggested to us by a friend to have the lint removed from the vent hose We didn't know we had to keep the vent clean of any lint buildup. The line was a few years old and we never had it cleared before this. They informed us the lint is highly flammable under the right conditions and we will now have to keep it clean periodically. I wish I could give RVC 6 stars! Initially, back in April, I had RVC to come clean our dryer vent - that cleaned it and we thought that was the end of it. Unfortunately, this was just the first step in our 4 month long venting/dryer issue. Long story short, I had RVC come back to change out our vent hose. The owner is super knowledgeable and genuinely cared about The breathing issues I was having, due to being new home owners and not having our HVAC system cleaned thoroughly. (which in hindsight, is what everyone should do if they move into a new space and have a HVAC system) In our case it was producing so much airborne dust that it was hard to breathe at night. I called to schedule with the royal vent cleaning on a Tuesday and she was able to fit me in on a Wednesday due to me expressing the uncomfortability within our home. She walked me through the entire process from start to finish. Her staff was on time friendly and equally as knowledgeable, they made the whole experience very pleasant. They did show me a pic of one of our vents having mold, which was quite alarming but they assured me that it was all cleaned out and also provided necessary steps to prevent it from happening again. Didn't know duct cleaning was a thing until researching and learned about the risk of fire if clogged with lint for too long. Reached out to Royal and learned a lot about the proceeds from Robin. She's very easy going, attentive, detailed, and answered all my questions before I decided to move forward. I ended up getting my line replaced instead of just cleaning existing because the previous owner had installed incorrectly (with duct tape and plastic ties) which in itself was a fire hazard. The whole time Robin was not trying to upsell the line replacement which I appreciate. Ended being the right decision because when the guys came to replace they showed me the duct tape which was at that point dry and brittle (fire hazard). They probably aren't the cheapest but the service was amazing and Robin even followed up afterwards to ensure I was happy with the install. read more

Very disappointed with Robin. Royal Vent Cleaning did work for me just a few months ago- cleaning vent and installing new dryer cap-- what they installed came apart. I called Robin and she told me their work is not guaranteed for that long!??? So I've been trying anyway just to get them back here to fix it so I can use my dryer. She promised she'd call the end of this week - she did not. I just called her and it appears she hung up on me! I gave her the benefit of the doubt and tried her again, she did not pick up the phone - So I left a message and again she is not calling me back.
