Rehabilitating our pups after their last trainer shut them down, hurt them, and made them severely fearful. Our last training experience was nothing short of traumatic. And I was SO scared to start again. After thousand of dollar down the drain and a year of training, i felt as though my dogs were was less confident and completely fearful. After only a couple sessions with Claire, it is night and DAY. My dogs are HAPPY to train! They are in rooms with strange dogs and already making HUGE strides in scent work! I could genuinely cry seeing my pups and how happy they are after seeing their last trainer spin them around by their necks!!! Now they get treats and pets and toys and clear communication! And they are so EXCITED! We just purchase a full package of sessions with Clare and I can't wait to move forward and watch my dogs AND me gain our confidence back.

As soon as we make the turn that (he knows) leads to LDC, he starts to whine and shake with delight. Once we park, I need only open the car door, no leash required! He launches himself at the front sore and repeatedly splays himself on it until I let him in, continuing to whine with anticipation. When we reclaim him at the end of the day, he's totally spent, docile and compliant. The staff is great and it shows. This is one awesome doggy day care and kennel, they segment the dogs by size and temperament. Everything runs smoothly. I heartily recommend Chagrin Valley Lucky Dog Club.

I took him to a training class there the next day and he could hardly contain himself when we drove onto the grounds - I took that as a positive response to the boarding. AAD has a great dedicated upbeat staff, whether it's the desk staff, groomers, trainers or boarding staff, it's always a positive experience.

For a $600 vet bill on top of their boarding. Worst place to take your dog if you love it. Imagine your son crying as someone cuts up his privates - this dog definitely was crying with over 25 razor cuts on his balls and dick! I have mixed feelings about this service. The sales presentation was very aggressive and I'm not…read morequite thrilled about using an e collar to correct undesirable behaviors. My young Siberian Husky attended the training for a week last year. When I picked him up, he literally clung to me during my training. At the end, I was concerned about a few things but not enough to speak up during my training for the e collar use. My boy was behaving but something felt off. Once I got him in the car to go home, I gave him his toy that he supposedly had access to all week. He literally whimpered and cried and held the toy. He curled up in the seat during the trip home. It was unusual. I did receive pics and a message praising his progress everyday. That was a positive. One year later, we do not use the e collar and I've spent a lot of time working with my boy. My advice is to ask a lot of questions. Specifically about the daily routine of training, play and socialization during the stay at their facility. I don't think I'd go this route again with my dog.
