Rehabilitating our pups after their last trainer shut them down, hurt them, and made them severely fearful. Our last training experience was nothing short of traumatic. And I was SO scared to start again. After thousand of dollar down the drain and a year of training, i felt as though my dogs were was less confident and completely fearful. After only a couple sessions with Claire, it is night and DAY. My dogs are HAPPY to train! They are in rooms with strange dogs and already making HUGE strides in scent work! I could genuinely cry seeing my pups and how happy they are after seeing their last trainer spin them around by their necks!!! Now they get treats and pets and toys and clear communication! And they are so EXCITED! We just purchase a full package of sessions with Clare and I can't wait to move forward and watch my dogs AND me gain our confidence back.

When we reclaim him at the end of the day, he's totally spent, docile and compliant. The staff is great and it shows. My young Siberian Husky attended the training for a week last year. When I picked him up, he literally clung to me during my training. At the end, I was concerned about a few things but not enough to speak up during my training for the e collar use. My boy was behaving but something felt off. Once I got him in the car to go home, I gave him his toy that he supposedly had access to all week. He literally whimpered and cried and held the toy. He curled up in the seat during the trip home. It was unusual. I did receive pics and a message praising his progress everyday. That was a positive. One year later, we do not use the e collar and I've spent a lot of time working with my boy. My advice is to ask a lot of questions. Specifically about the daily routine of training, play and socialization during the stay at their facility. I don't think I'd go this route again with my dog.
