We were seated at tables while the different wines we introduced, along with some great history and a little humor. After this program we moved to another room where we could taste a variety of wines, using the little bag of wooden tokens. Next came another tasting red wines, followed by the whites. All in all, a well orchestrated and well planned experience. We will return to pick up our new Futures purchase - but definitely will return before that occasion - during warm weather so we can sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

The ceremony space had a huge skylight and a large window where the couple stood enabling you to see the stone bridge, rock fountains, etc. so much beauty!! After the ceremony we were directed to "The Chantilly" room and the display and selection of appetizers knocked my socks off! There was a salad station- cold area with cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, roasted beets, salmon, caprese salad and much much more! There was an Italian station w pasta, meatballs, sausage, pizza, then carved pork and skirt steak area, lots of seafood and even a mashed potato bar and a macaroni and cheese bar. Stupendous! Every time I got up I found something new to try. The wedding space was elegant and large for all to enjoy. We ordered the filet and that was served with tasty asparagus, potatoes, a peeled carrot and a light gravy sauce. I was very happy with all the desserts I tried too. The staff was ultra pleasant and attentive. This was a first class affair. I loved my time at Lucien's Manor and if you have the chance to attend or host an event there I know you will too. This year, the same friend rented out the entire place including two sets by the house band for a milestone birthday celebration. I believe they have catering packages, but in this case, our friends supplied the food while the venue supplied the beverages and took care of cleaning up. While we certainly give credit to the lovely couple and their families, Brigalia's certainly played a large role in making it an unforgettable affair. The facility is more of a complex, with separate buildings where ceremonies are held that are connected by cobbled walkways, as if they were illustrations in children's storybooks. We're talking beautifully manicured landscapes and structures that fit neatly into the complex, so lots of opportunities for some great photo ops! The reception was held in a large ballroom with an amazing lighting package that would rival Taylor Swift's wedding at MSG. The room itself is a large open space with a grand staircase, very tastefully and formally decorated. Now darlings, be prepared to chow down. The fare is abundant, decadent, and delicious. Come here with the expectation that any diet you might be following will be thoroughly negated, and hours and hours of Stairmaster fun will follow in the days ahead, but it will be worth it. I'm not exactly sure of all the arrangements that were made, but I believe Suite105 staff were helping with fixing plates (food was provided by the family), pouring liquor (the family brought in liquor) and other tasks, and they were kindly behind the scenes to help the occasion go smoothly.
