I could tell how passionate the owner, Jim, is about the business. He crafts his chocolate from ethically sourced beans, roasts them and makes the most deeply dark chocolate! My favorite was the chocolate ganache with walnuts! But there's such a variety of flavors to chose from. There's even chocolate tea and hot chocolate available. I'd like to return to take one of the classes. They offer classes for children. But they also offer a 2-3 hour class where they teach how to temper and decorate 21 pieces of chocolate that you get to take home! Until then I'll just have to settle with eating them!

We reentered with others at 11:05. The lady in front of us told him that 3 of her 5 reservations would not be there. I waited until everyone was checked in and hands washed. I stood by the register for over 5 minutes - when he finally came over, I told him that I would be happy to take one of the missing reservations. He said I would have to wait until everyone showed up, but not everyone was there. So I sat down next to my granddaughter. He came over to my chair, trying to explain the same thing. I told him that the lady (who was right across the table from me) had told him that 3 were not coming and that I was trying to help. HE THEN STARTED to verbally abuse me, telling me that I was being rude and that if I didn't stop, he would not be able to teach my granddaughter. I responded that we just needed to end the conversation (the entire time, I was sitting WITH HIM STANDING NEXT TO MY SHOULDER). He continued by calling me rude and threatening. All I could say was we needed to stop the conversation. HE CONTINUED WITH THREATS. Then he decided to kick me out after I made a hand gesture to stop talking. After letting it sit out, i did not like it at all since they all had a weird after taste for me. These were a little pricey also. $7.99 each for the small Dubai chocolates. De Lux Farms is a small location located in a business park near Denny's and the Arco station off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. I believe they're a wholesaler for the candy; I noticed other products from the Sew Good line on the shelf. The staffer at the location was friendly enough, and he got my order ready once I checked in and showed him my receipt. So, the candy... surprisingly, they're crunchy and airy! My favorite of the three packs I got were the lemon drops. Keeping this place in mind next time it comes up on my Too Good To Go app and my sweet tooth needs indulging.
