If they are open, a good deal for your dollar. Very popular with the local gentry. Ice cream delights and sandwiches.

The ambiance is comfortable, casual and a bit quirky in a fun way. The difference in my visit this time is that Rikki (the owner) waited on us. She was super friendly and helpful. Also, we were there the night of a huge PowerBall lottery jackpot drawing and the restaurant sold lottery tickets. We took this as an unexpected sign to purchase tickets, but didn't win. It was rather exciting anyway at the time... when we had hopes of winning, lol. My friend and I both ordered "small" pizzas that were large enough for more than one meal. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza with banana peppers on a thin crust and I ordered thin crust with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. Check out pictures below. We both enjoyed our delicious pizzas and took home leftovers. I also ordered a pizza to take home to my mom- with pepperoni and onions on a thin crust. She commented that the thin crust helped her to enjoy the toppings more and that the pepperoni was of high quality and not as greasy as pepperoni can be. This restaurant is worth the short drive to Erie, Michigan. We really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely return and highly recommend!

Server was friendly & made some great recommendations - like the pickle bread with bacon! You will not be disappointed. Also tried the grog legs (tasted like chicken) and the fried pickles. I knew…read morenot to expect the same quality for that reason but this was by far the worst burger I have ever had. I was charged 11.99 for an unseasoned likely frozen and then cooked impossible burger. I asked the kitchen to add garlic, onion and salt and pepper to it before cooking (not knowing it was not thawed to properly prepare it especially in the Midwest where ignorant people still think vegan is weird) and they said they "could try" which was weird to hear. My mother whom i was dining with told them "they aren't seasoned patties". i was charged for what I asked for including the cheese which is insane when it was already so overpriced, but there was no garlic, no salt, and no pepper. A flavorless patty on the cheapest bun (that likely had dye in it, I had also asked about because I have a brain injury and it impacts me severely). even my fries had no salt and likely were frozen from a bag. Not only was this the most overpriced bland meal I have ever had in my life, they added take out fees- I had to get takeout (because I was having temperature regulation issues because they the Thermostat set at 78!? when it was 83 outside) so I had to leave before it caused a seizure, but my mothers food was just as bland. no seasoning at all and the "1/4lb burger special" was a SLIDER. a frozen one. these two things were $29?! I don't mind paying for food from a restaurant that is actually cooked. This place is no better than applebees- but I'll have to acknowledge that Applebees, even though they are straight trash- has seasoning on their food. I feel bad for the server who is likely financially impacted by how the owner lacks care for the business in any capacity. This place deserves to close, since it is just robbing the customers.

So many options on the menu are house made, even down to the bison shaped biscuits. We ordered a bison patty melt, which was very tasty and well prepared and a chicken chunk bowl that was served piping hot and was made with homemade mashed potatoes. I ordered it with a side of ranch, which was house made as well. The service was quick and accurate and the food was served as soon as it was prepared. The restaurant was clean and tables were wiped down and ready for service. I look forward to trying other dishes from this great local restaurant.

They offer so many delicious sauces; my favorite was the coffee and the white. Our server was so friendly and guided us through the menu. The BBQ Solit is meant to be shared: a full grilled andouille sausage, split and served in a bed of corkscrew Mac n cheese, topped with baked beans, pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, tomatoes and sauced with BBQ of your choice. The burnt ends were nicely cooked and soft yet well done. The smells are wonderful. I will be back to try more off the menu.

I…read moredon't remember much about our carryout experience, but I can say with confidence we won't be back after our dine-in experience today. The food was fine. We ordered fried pickles for our appetizer and that came out within 10-15 min of us being seated. They were hot, delicious and the sauce they came with was pretty tangy and tasty. No complaints. We placed our meal order at the same time as the appetizer, but waited 20-30 min for our food to come out. We ordered Cuban and BBQ Chicken sandwiches. Our waitress came by once during that wait and told us our food would be out shortly but never gave a reason for the delay. I was irritated when the couple behind us - who were seated well after us - received their meals 10-15 min before ours came out. Our waitress was very chummy, attentive and friendly with them and barely checked in with us. Definitely didn't receive the same service. Unfortunately her tip reflected that. Our food was good. BBQ chicken sandwich was good. Needed more sauce but I asked for a side. Cuban was fine. Needed a sauce too but I used the sauce that came with the fried pickles. Fries were delicious and hot. Some of the onion rings were strange. The smaller ones mostly. They weren't even warm and had a chewy consistency. It was weird. As far as the atmosphere? Ugh. That alone killed it for me. 1) it's so dark in there. The dark floors...the dark ceilings...and all that dark wood! All that darkness paired with the depressing country music playing had me wanting to take myself out. Maybe it's good if you're there to drink your sorrows away and whatever teardrops they were singing about, but I found it irritating and agitating. BBQ isn't strictly country music - it can be blues too.

As I was walking in there, there was a lady working there with short brown hair and a blue/black jacket on (I have no idea what her name is but she was an older lady who was my waitress) she happened to be in my way and I tried to maneuver around her so she just bumped into me as I was walking to the table and she SAW me coming and trying not to bump into her and I smiled and understood it was possibly a misunderstanding and no hard feelings. So I just walk to the table to sit down and greet my family. Then I find out rudely that she was their waitress when she came up to the table my family was at by bumping into ME forcing the touch on my shoulders not even saying sorry and gave me and my family a nasty attitude the rest of the time we were there. If anyone wants to eat there... DON'T unless this lady gets fired for putting her hands on me very rudely without talking to me about it she does that. Since the food is great though, I recommend just getting it ordered for takeout. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SIT DOWN WITH THAT ATTITUDE. NO ONE SHOULD EVER PUT THEIR HANDS ON SOMEONE LIKE THAT PERIOD.
