Just spent $26000 dollars for an engine of service of my 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo. In that I was charged approximately $3000-4000 for spoiler motor. Pick up the car this morning and the spoiler does not go up at high speed or with the button. Drive right back and he said "oh there's something else wrong" told him the car has been there 7 weeks and I no longer want to leave it there. I have been taking my Panamera to RS for last 3 years as they are 1 mile from my office and they keep your car for many weeks so I need to limit Uber bills. John has very little concern for his customers wallet and gives inaccurate completion dates without ever alerting the customer or apologizing. He always returns the car in poor condition. This last visit he returned my car with a nail in the tire that was so obvious that I made a U turn on Roswell road to return so he could fix. The car smelled of gasoline so strong that my eyes watered. He gave me the car with the fuel guage registering 0 miles remaining. I made it to station and discovered I had half a tank of gas. As he had replaced fuel filters it was obvious he had done something wrong with install. I brought it back to him enduring 2 more Uber bills and he told me he wants 2 grand to fix what he broke! I refused that disservice and picked up my car only to realize he had tracked even more gas inside my car. He will not stand behind his work. Steer clear! read more

I first encountered RS Motorwerks with my previous 911I was told by the dealership in no uncertain terms that I needed a new engine. I did not believe that so I got a second opinion here .wound up just being a coil that had gone bad since then, I've gotten all of my car service and maintained here. Very happy with service and work done. Recently had an issue with my current 911 it was diagnosed and repaired properly I was kept abreast of the progress. They've taken care of repeat tows (after a fix and something breaks right after), have dealt with warranty batteries, and have given me great service. Their communication is great--calling you to let you know the problem(s) and they've given accurate time and cost estimates. Just be straight up and they'll take care of you and your Porsche. The Audi Service Advisor informed me that their technicians discovered that my transmission needed to be replaced which would cost me thousands of dollars. I declined and had my car towed to RS Motorwerks of Atlanta. RSM informed me that the problem was not my transmission but simply the shifter cables. Needless to say I was shocked that the dealership had completely misdiagnosed the problem and if I had allowed them to make the repair, it would not have resolved the issue and I would have had to pay an additional money to fix the problem. Inexperienced Tech. Took my car there to have clutch cable work. Previewed Dixon line first so knew exactly what issue was and how it gets fixed. During steps to put center console back together the Tech did NOT plug the passenger Air Bag indicator back it its place. Worse, they left the indicator at the bottom of the now closed console. Obvious hole in console once assembled that the Tech had to see. Here's the kicker. Since the indicator was not plugged in the circuit does not complete and the Air Bag Indicator Warning comes on Bright RED. I told John Jr the light was not on when I came in. I was explicitly told by John Jr that the red light had "Nothing to do with the work that was done." That was a lie. Given John's experience and reputation I would expect him to easily conclude the new light and work they just completed COULD be related. Dah! He didn't want to work on the car and would not show an interest in trying to help figure it it, which I feel he should have offered. I called to inquire about getting the transfer case worked on on my car and was told they do them all of the time, I received a price and was told to drop off my car, The next day I got a call and was told they have never done a transfer case on my car and charged me a diagnostic fee of $110 as they said i need a transfer case ? These guys are dishonest and not to bright in my opinion. you would do well to avoid them read more

08/24/16 my fuel pump went out on my Mercedes Benz ML350 and this place was recommended to me by a co-worker. My fuel pump was still under warranty and John Jr and John Sr. said they would honor the warranty but would need to charge me additional labor cost because otherwise they would not make any money off of me. They charged $1009.00 to replace the pump of which I paid them $500.00 out of pocket. The pump went out again on 11/27/16 now under warranty with RS Motorwerks. I had my vehicle towed to them and was advised that the S.A.M.S. (Signal Acquisition Module) was bad and needed to be replaced before they would replace the fuel pump. Well my S.A.M.S. (Signal Acquisition Module) was also replaced a few months back at the Mercedes dealership which was paid for out of pocket over $1k so it's under warranty. I had my vehicle towed from RS to the dealership and received a call from them stating that all of the panels were removed from my vehicle and screws were missing, they would first need to put all of this back together before they could even begin to run diagnostics and this would be labor cost of over $900 because the vehicle was dismantled. I called John to advise that I need to have it towed back to them to put everything back together and he stated they would NOT do that because they did not remove the panels. The dealership states it was towed to them that way and that it is highly unlikely that the S.A.M.S would need to be replaced twice, they had never seen this occur on any Mercedes. I asked RS if they would just replace the pump under warranty based on this information and they refused. Not only did he refuse to replace the pump but was extremely rude on the phone telling me that I was more trouble than I am worth, that I had too many hands in the pot and hung up the phone on me while I was talking. Of course, if you have a part under warranty you are going to take it back so they can honor the warranty instead of paying someone else to do the work. He was upset that I wasn't paying him to do the work on the S.A.M.S (which by the way, nothing was wrong with). I had my vehicle towed from the dealership to Midas and paid to have the pump replaced out of pocket because now I don't even trust RS to do the work and they refused to do it anyway. Midas only charged me $700. My vehicle has been running perfectly since. My experience has been that if John Sr. and Jr. are not making any money off of you, they do not want to do the work. I have never been treated so rudely at any place of business and I do plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau for not honoring the warranty on my part. read more

Don't bother. Had my master cylinder replaced, but they failed to check the BRAKES. Three days later I replaced my pads and rotors at a different shop. Had to take my car back each time a service was completed. And today I was told that a hose they replaced has been sliced. Inexperienced techs. read more
