RSK made a pop-up appearance at the Seashore Campground and caught my eye as I was headed out. I didn't catch the names of the two folkx inside the truck, but they were extremely friendly and we had a great conversation. They recommended the cinnamon sugar mini doughnuts so I ordered the bag. I regret not getting the bucket because they were so good! I also picked up some cinnamon rolls and apple cider donuts that they added cinnamon sugar too as well! Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed y'all stopping by and hanging out with us. Please come back soon! read more

Drove an hour and a half to take the wife and kids to the Farmers Market in Brigantine specifically for these donuts. Get here at 11:45 and they are already shutting down and half packed up. No service and not even a sorry. Just a "Yeah you missed us." No, you closed early. Thanks for wasting our Saturday Morning. Horrible. read more

We used RSK Doughnuts for our morning-after-wedding brunch. Their truck pulled up outside our family's residence and served hot, gourmet-flavored doughnuts (and coffee). We knew we wanted to hire them for our event because we've made a point to get their mini doughnuts while in Cape May before! We received cheerful service and delicious food-- 3 hours of "open bar" doughnuts for a fair price! Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to elevate their special event! This place is located off the main streets of Cape May, but it is a gem for sure! The doughnuts are made fresh, and they even have a little machine that fries up the doughnuts on the spot. What more can I ask for when I have the lovely weather, warm doughnuts, and a nice coffee! read more

I haven't loved anything this much in awhile. So I decided to briefly come out of Yelp retirement to give a shout out to this incredible new purveyor of deliciousness which I discovered this past weekend. The doughnuts at RSK Doughnuts deserve a place in the Pantheon of the greatest doughnuts in the universe. A must visit for anyone visiting Cape May, NJ or even if you're anywhere in South Jersey. Go there! You will be eternally grateful to yourself for having done so. Great new donut shop on Carpenter Lane behind the Washington Street Mall. We grabbed donuts and coffee one morning instead of having the Inn's breakfast and we were very pleasantly surprised at both the quality and offerings. We chose some mini glazed and sugared donuts that were tender, flavorful in fired in oil that imparted no additional unpleasant undertones as you could tell it was changed regularly. Prices and service were both very good and this is a great new addition to Cape May. read more

Donuts are hot fresh and made to order. When you walk in there is a sample case but don't think those are what you are buying. You are buying them fresh and specially made for you! I recommend their classic cinnamon and sugar mini donuts. I didn't try their regular size donuts but stick to the minis. They melt in your mouth with every bite. read more

Stopped in for donuts on a rainy Friday morning while we were on vacation in cape may. Cute family business (named after "a child, Ryan, a dog, Scampi, and another dog, Kahlua"). Their specialty is mini donuts with a variety of toppings (we tried rainbow sprinkles and French toast). However, we felt the full sized donuts were the stars of the show! Only two flavors left by the time we showed up, but they were fresh, hot, and delicious. The apple cider donuts actually tasted of apples, and were covered in cinnamon sugar. The glazed donuts were not overly sweet, and they came out hot and melted on your mouth. We also really appreciated that they took credit card (a lot of businesses in this area only take cash). Where else can you get made to order doughnuts in minutes? Nice little place located on the backside of the Washington Mall. The staff was helpful to explain how to order. We ended up getting 3 orders of the mini doughnuts - French toast, moo cow chocolate and vanilla, and the frosted with sprinkles. All were very tasty. Just the idea of watching them get made and tasting the freshness made it worthwhile. Definitely give it a try! read more

The smell of this place ALONE drew me right in. The woman working was extremely warm and friendly, and the classic cinnamon and sugar doughnuts were DELICIOUS. Just found this gem by accident walking back to our hotel from The Mall. Their mini donuts are delicious! I only tried the cinnamon sugar & powdered sugar varieties, but there's a whole list of glazes that sounded unbelievable. We'll be going back to try more. read more

Delicious and addictive mini donuts! We ordered the "Originals" cinnamon sugar and French toast flavors. They were made to order but didn't require a long wait. Staff was also extremely sweet and offered great suggestions. The shop is tucked away on the edge of Washington Commons and easy to miss. So glad we found them, we will definitely be back! read more

Great fresh as you wait donuts, a young man and his mother was operation this great little place right at the town center of cape may. Good concept- mini donuts, kind of like funnel cake/faire type of fare, originally a food truck, now having a small storefront in the shops area. Maybe it was the late season timing, they claimed they make over 40 flavors, though I was steered toward a couple that were top sellers. Wasn't easily able to find the menu of other flavors. They were sweet and tasty of course, each offering a differing array of toppings on a traditional "cake donut" base. I'd recommend they change things up a bit more as to the flavor/assortment of the base donut, but otherwise a good snacky stop when looking for something sweet. read more

I loved that they were actual mini donuts (not donut holes) and they had a great crisp on the outside. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Where do I even being, the concept looked great and I was excited to try these unique donuts. I was extremely disappointed and disrespected. Terrible customer service and even more terrible product. Donuts were extremely undercooked and the batter was still wet in the middle. They had no flavor at all. The chocolate and peanut butter sauces used tasted old and were probably expired. The hot chocolate tasted like plain warm milk. They had the worst attitudes I've ever seen especially for a small business. They are a husband and wife duo and I don't know who was more rude. Especially to my child. The place was not clean and had a funky smell. Absolutely will never go back and advise no one else should. They should just close their business or sell it to someone who would appreciate having customers walk through their doors and not be miserable that they have to actually work. It's really too bad that their attitudes ruined our experience and our night, especially around the holidays!! read more

The selling point seems to be their bag of hot mini donuts topped with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar ... they're good BUT if you want to taste the fluffiest, sweetest donut you ever did taste go for the cream filled large donut. I didn't have the cinnamon bun, but people I was with seemed to enjoy. They sell out early -- so if you're set on a cinnamon bun get there early! Super fair prices ... $10 card minimum. read more

Best ever! Tried a couple of mini flavors with our kids & loved them all. Seriously delicious. The drizzles are ridiculously good. Raspberry vanilla & French toast were our favorites. Place is tiny & charming, with the cute little doughnut machine right up front. Staff is just awesome - friendly & super helpful. Chez Michel is located in West Cape May amongst a small strip of other businesses. Even though the bakery is only ~4 years old, Michel Gras has been in Cape May since 1984 and previously owned another French bakery in the area. I arrived mid-morning - it wasn't too crowded but it was also raining hard so that may have curbed the crowds. The bakery itself has a pretty typical layout - a large open area for customers and a line of display cases that house the goods. I also noticed a selection of coffee products and souvenirs for purchase off to the side. They have a good selection - I noticed tarts, cakes, cookies, and an expansive selection of quiche. I wanted to get a good sense of the bakes so I got a few things: broccoli and cheese quiche, bacon and cream cheese tart, linzer tart, cherry and cheese danish, elephant ears, and walnut sticky bun (don't worry, I shared). Everything was delicious - I could tell they were high quality, it really showed in all of the bakes. My favorite was definitely the walnut sticky bun - that walnut topping almost tasted like candy and the bun itself was soft and flavorful. Other standouts for me were the quiche, linzer tart, and elephant ears - some of the best I've had. Service was good - I was taken care of promptly and all of my bakes were packed meticulously. Overall, Chez Michel is a yes - it may not be on the main drag, but the bakes are high quality so it's well worth a visit. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Cape May.

This place is an instant mood booster!…read more We visited with another couple on a Saturday. Parking is challenging, as space is very limited. There really isn't any street parking. We circled twice before squeezing into a tight spot. Keep this in mind! The grounds are cute and they have a nice retail shop where you can purchase produce, sundries, candles, kitchen accessories, and books. Small private bathrooms are accessible via the outside area. The menu is ever-changing and this ensure everything is fresh. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, Hummus and Vegetables Platter, the Egg Sandwich, Honey Roasted Carrots, and the Lamb Meatballs. Everything was delicious. The picnic tables out back all have large umbrellas, and good thing because it began raining right after we sat down. We stayed dry and comfortable. The strawberry lemonade was super refreshing. This farm is perfect for all age groups. Not a lot of walking, but a lot to see!

What went well? Everything! First, loved the valet parking given there were zero open spaces…read moreanywhere near. Carin was our valet and was great. We also loved the fine dining ambiance. Service by Mickey was wonderful. She was honest, helpful, attentive, let us set the pace, and made our visit great. On to the food. We began with a cucumber, gimlet, and a Hendrix martini. Both were delicious. For appetizers, we have the deviled eggs, Heirloom tomato and melon salad, and the unbelievably delicious Parker House rolls (4 for $8). The deviled eggs ($15) were some of the best we've had but come only three halves to an order (each topped differently, duck, lobster, Cherry). The salad ($20) was OK, but honestly a little bland. I don't think I would order it again. And I highly recommend the rolls and the eggs though. For entrées, my wife had the Cape May Scallops ($49) which were fantastic. I had the duck appetizer ($32) for my entrée. The sliced duck breast was more than enough and very tasty. My only complaint was it wasn't cooked medium rare as stated, it was cooked all the way to medium, which was only a little pink. Still it was delicious. We also shared a side, the special charred snap peas ($12) - very good! No room for dessert tonight.

The coffee was extremely disappointing. It tasted like someone rinsed out the coffee pot and poured that into my cup. The latte wasn't much better, an easy way to put it would be watered down milk. The sandwich was also disappointing. While the price was reasonable, the preparation was careless. The egg and cheese sandwich consisted of a little more than a slice of American cheese placed on the bread. They didn't event take the time to melt it. For a cafe with such a strong reputation, I expected much better, and I probably could've gotten better at a local gas station. Overall, while I appreciated the good customer service, the food and beverages fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.
