    RSK menu of awesomeness
    Hani B.

I haven't loved anything this much in awhile. So I decided to briefly come out of Yelp retirement to give a shout out to this incredible new purveyor of deliciousness which I discovered this past weekend. The doughnuts at RSK Doughnuts deserve a place in the Pantheon of the greatest doughnuts in the universe. A must visit for anyone visiting Cape May, NJ or even if you're anywhere in South Jersey. Go there! You will be eternally grateful to yourself for having done so. If you're lucky the husband and wife team will be frying up fresh mini donuts (doughnuts) in front of you and serving them hot.

RSK is a complete gem in cape May!!! Mini donuts that melt In your mouth! My kids requested them every day while we were there last week and we were happy to comply! We've been coming to cape May for 20 years and have seen a lot of businesses come and go but truly hope RSK sticks around forever!! Wish them continued succes

Donuts are hot fresh and made to order. When you walk in there is a sample case but don't think those are what you are buying. You are buying them fresh and specially made for you! I recommend their classic cinnamon and sugar mini donuts. I didn't try their regular size donuts but stick to the minis. They melt in your mouth with every bite.

Stopped in for donuts on a rainy Friday morning while we were on vacation in cape may. Cute family business (named after "a child, Ryan, a dog, Scampi, and another dog, Kahlua"). Their specialty is mini donuts with a variety of toppings (we tried rainbow sprinkles and French toast). However, we felt the full sized donuts were the stars of the show! Only two flavors left by the time we showed up, but they were fresh, hot, and delicious. The apple cider donuts actually tasted of apples, and were covered in cinnamon sugar. The glazed donuts were not overly sweet, and they came out hot and melted on your mouth. We also really appreciated that they took credit card (a lot of businesses in this area only take cash). Will definitely return next time we are in cape may!

Moo cow chocolate and vanilla mini doughnuts

Where else can you get made to order doughnuts in minutes? Nice little place located on the backside of the Washington Mall. The staff was helpful to explain how to order. We ended up getting 3 orders of the mini doughnuts - French toast, moo cow chocolate and vanilla, and the frosted with sprinkles. All were very tasty. Just the idea of watching them get made and tasting the freshness made it worthwhile. Definitely give it a try!

Just found this gem by accident walking back to our hotel from The Mall. Their mini donuts are delicious! I only tried the cinnamon sugar & powdered sugar varieties, but there's a whole list of glazes that sounded unbelievable. We'll be going back to try more.

Great fresh as you wait donuts, a young man and his mother was operation this great little place right at the town center of cape may. I chose the 2dozen with cinnamon, and powdered sugar with the glaze. So deliciously hot and sweet with soft in the middle like pillow goodness. I'll will be back.

Food isn't worth the price. We purchased some donuts that were sitting out. Not sure if that is why but they were stale

The apple fritters were crisp fried on the outside with lots of apple chunks and sweet sugary goo! The crumb cake was a little thin for a NY style crumb cake, but moist and with good flavor (more crumbs please!) My husband loved the chocolate croissant pastry. For one, he did not complain about a lack of chocolate!! I found the coffee lacking in flavor; a little weak, even the darker roast choice. Service was friendly and the line moved fast. There are a few tattered tables and high top chairs outside to eat on. Overall, a hit!

Service by Mickey was wonderful. She was honest, helpful, attentive, let us set the pace, and made our visit great. On to the food. We began with a cucumber, gimlet, and a Hendrix martini. Both were delicious. For appetizers, we have the deviled eggs, Heirloom tomato and melon salad, and the unbelievably delicious Parker House rolls (4 for $8). The deviled eggs ($15) were some of the best we've had but come only three halves to an order (each topped differently, duck, lobster, Cherry). The salad ($20) was OK, but honestly a little bland. I don't think I would order it again. And I highly recommend the rolls and the eggs though. For entrées, my wife had the Cape May Scallops ($49) which were fantastic. I had the duck appetizer ($32) for my entrée. The sliced duck breast was more than enough and very tasty. My only complaint was it wasn't cooked medium rare as stated, it was cooked all the way to medium, which was only a little pink. Still it was delicious. We also shared a side, the special charred snap peas ($12) - very good! No room for dessert tonight.

I recently dined at the Ebbitt Room, and I have never had such a conflicting experience. While the…read morekitchen and bar are clearly talented, the service and management decisions completely ruined the evening. The Positives: I have to give credit where it is due as the food and drinks were genuinely great. We ordered the calamari, celery root soup, scallops, and the chicken breast. Everything came out delicious and perfectly prepared. The drinks were also a highlight specifically the pomegranate margarita and the winter sangria. The bartender clearly knows what they are doing. The Service: Absent and Unprofessional. Unfortunately, the night took a sharp turn regarding the service. Our waitress was virtually non existent. She spent the entire night chatting with another couple, barely sparing a moment for our table outside of taking the initial order. It got to the point where the bartender had to do the waitresses job. Our drinks were sitting on the bar for quite a while until the bartender finally walked them over to us, saying, "I just wanted to drop these off so they wouldn't sit out." Later, we watched the bartender go into the back and run food to the other couple, the very table our waitress was busy socializing with, telling them he, "just wanted to bring this out so it would still be hot." The bartender was acting more like a waiter than our actual server was. Sketchy Billing & Atmosphere: Things got even stranger when the check arrived. We noticed a $24 charge for a "cheeseburger"--an item that isn't even on the menu. We flagged down the waitress, and before we could even explain the issue, she immediately said, "Oh yes, you are right, there is an error, sorry about that." It was an incredibly odd reaction; she knew there was an error before we even vocalized what was wrong. To top it off, the dining room was absolutely freezing. When we asked why, the waitress claimed the heat was broken. However, upon visiting the restroom, the heat was pumping just fine. It felt deliberate--like a corner cutting measure to save money during the off-season rather than a genuine mechanical failure. Overall: Despite the food being delicious, the terrible service, the suspicious billing "error," and the uncomfortable temperature make this a place I cannot recommend. For the price point, you expect a certain level of professionalism and comfort, and Ebbitt Room failed on both counts. I will not be returning.
