I just bought an E-bike and needed a helmet, so I went in to check them out. Not only did I get the perfect helmet for me but I also got a ton of information about E bike batteries, bike trails, helmet ratings and what kids should wear versus adults, bike meet ups around town, different accessories, and I learned that they are also an authorized Lectric bike repair and maintenance location! This was my 2nd time renting from Southwest Bikes. I got the 2023 Bianchi Infinito XE Rival AXS Disc and it was an excellent ride to the Red Rock Canyon loop. Southwest was happy to put on my pedals and seat before the ride, and quickly took them off and returned them at the end, no fuss no muss. The bike performed well with no problems, and since I was only riding for 1 day, it was cheaper (and easier) than carting my bike bag at $50 each way on the plane. Plus I got to run around on the Bianchi Infinito, which is slightly more aggressive than my Trek Domane. The people in the store are helpful and interested in making your ride go well, providing both directions and guidance. And being close to the new bike path outside of the beltway is a BIG plus. My instructions to Red Rock Canyon were as simple as "go across the highway to the bike path, turn left, then turn right on West Charleston when you get to it." The hardest part was the elevation gain, but that made the downhill ride back much easier, even with the headwind. I'll be back at Southwest Bikes the next time I need a bike in Las Vegas, for sure. read more

I have been coming to this Bike Shop for many years.  The staff are always pleasant, helpful, and informative.  Today I took my bike to them because a new tire went flat after 6 days.  Ryan looked at the tube, the tire, and the wheel. The lone employee barely noticed it was there until I finally asked about their selection of bikes that WEREN'T $3,000. The employee blew me off with a comment about how their bikes basically start at $2700 or so. I asked if they sold any pre-owned models and was told "no". That's it. Just one word. Next thin I get a call later to pick up my bike and it's double what the original quote was. I asked him what happened and he said "we'll it needs a different one. Bought my daughter's brand new bike on offerup and one of the tires wouldn't stay inflated. They said the tire was missing a tube(?) and wasn't set up right. It was super busy with customers but they fixed the tire and the entire bike reset for only the tube replacement cost of $15.
