It baffles the mind how can an "experienced" shop screw up this bad, brought my model X to get the tires powder coated in black, they did a good job and I won't complain about that, however when I get home I notice a scraping sound coming from my front tires, took one tire off and noticed that the rim is scratching against the control arm, Took the car back to them and they said that I must've hit a pothole that bent both sides of my front suspension , nothing to do with them, take my car to Butler tires and they're left scratching their heads and say that those rims do not belong there, I must of gotten the wrong rims back from them..... took the car to Tesla where the immediately fell on the floor laughing, turns out they put the front tires on the rear rims and vice versa, the offset on the rear tires is less therefore it was scraping the control arm, after having to do all the investigating for them I took it back, instead of rushing to fix their monumental screwup they took over 24 hours just to swap the tires to the correct wheel, all this before Labor Day weekend where I had a trip planned and I have wasted all of my Friday waiting to get the car back, finally got it back at 4 PM so I can get on the road right at rush-hour traffic, very apologetic but that does not give me my day back, never again!!! read more

Took my brand new 2022 BMW X6 to have calipers painted and curb rash repaired on one wheel. The calipers were painted the wrong color so they had to be redone, which took 2 weeks. My rotors were not protected during or after painting so they were smudged and dirty. My brand new SUV was returned with paint droplets and tree sap over the entire car so there's now a grittiness feel to the paint and windows. The wheel was sanded down at the edge so now it's different from my other wheels. Sam refused to accept responsibility for the damage to my car saying that I had parked it under a tree, which is untrue because my car is always garaged and I have it detailed by my mobile detailer every two weeks. read more

Had a rotiform KPS wheel repaired here. They were super nice to work with and excellent quality of work. The wheel had two shades of black .. after the initial repair and repaint, the shop was not satisfied with the result due to the two different shades of black. Instead of ignoring it, they called me and explained and asked for another day to redo the paint on the wheel. The wheel looks like brand new .. our damage wasn't crazy bad, but these folks have all the tools and machinery to repair bent rims .. dented rims and scraped rims .. will for sure return here again the future should I be in need of wheel repair read more

Recently took my Mercedes to have two wheels with curb rash fixed, both on the passenger side. The right front wheel was pretty bad and the right rear had just a small place about a half inch on the rim. The representative told me the right front would be $300 and the right rear "wouldn't be much." RTP did a very good job on the right front, but repaired the LEFT rear wheel by mistake instead of the right rear, and charged me the full price for doing so, ie., $650. I will concede that they did a great job on the wheels and offered to put the left rear wheel on the right rear but refused to reduce the price. They did offer to repair the wheel I originally requested be fixed (but wasn't) for a reduced price of $250. I will take the blame for not getting the estimate in writing before leaving but feel more could be done about the miscommunication. read more

I was referred to them through NTB and the customer service was definitely on point! From the moment I pulled up until the time I walked to my car after dropping off my damaged rims! My rims were damaged badly to the point I thought was of no return, but they sure know what they're doing! I had black powder coated previously and I wanted to try something new and went with the dark gunmetal look this time and I absolutely love it! Everyone that worked their was friendly and people would just randomly walk by and say hi to u and strike conversations. It seemed like a family and friendly environment. Sam told me that after he attempts to fix my damage rims and if he's not able to guarantee the integrity and safety after delivering my rims then he will not charge me a dime and would not take that risk and therefore I definitely appreciate the honesty and character his business provides. Wasted my time with an appointment and no follow up after a week later...This is how black people are treated ...time and and time again in Atlanta .They have no issues with customer service over the phone but once you show up and they realize you black...the excuses start. The rep failed to follow up ...at almost a week they only called me back after missing my call.Then had no clue who I was.Then some bs excuse about their computer system updates. They pretend to be a bigger operation, offered to have someone call me back...I declined and she hung up the phone on me...Unprofessional and rude! I'd never hand my keys over to this outfit. Was referred to them by my mechanic. I was having strut mounts replaced and while my car was up on the Jack, they noticed that three of the four wheels were out of round. They said it could damage my suspension to continue to drive on these wheels. They referred me to this company. I called and made arrangements to drop of a wheel. The wheel I left had two cracks and would not hold air. I am. It sure about roundness. When I spoke to The Who I believed to be the owner (Sam) he said they could fix it and have it back in 12 hours. He lauded his technicians ability to make the repair and even tried to to up sell me in paint finishes. We decided on OEM finish. Wheel would be ready the next day. I return to their store, to pick up the wheel. There was some confusion as the wheel could not be located. The receptionist actually had to go back into the shop and locate my wheel. The finish was ruined. Some one had bumped into it or something. Either way it needed to be redone. 1) problem number one!!!! They should have known that before I arrived. They should have called me to let me know this, because they also knew how far I drove to get there. Well they didn't call because " you said you wanted to put wheel on and leave another wheel" huh? Yes my plan was to mount it and leave a wheel, but based on its appearance, I. Goose not to do that and returned the following Friday to drop it off. Well Saturday comes and they have someone in the office allegedly from 10-1. So I began calling to see if wheel was ready because I didn't want to make an 80 mile round trip drive for nothing. 10- no answer, 11- no answer, 12- no answer. Emails were also sent and no response. Finally at 1235pm on Saturday they called to say it was ready. I told the guy no way I could be there before one. He offered to meet me with wheel and I was good with that. I had also asked that they NOT paint the inside of the wheel ( they did it anyway). I met and got wheel. Tuesday I had it installed and it wobbles at 35-45 mph and at 60plus pulls hard to right. No problems like this before mounting the wheel. The tire that was in front right was installed on repaired wheel. Just left there today and what I different song and dance. We strive to return all wheels to factory new condition but cannot guarantee it. Your wheel was cracked in two places, this is the best we can do. I understand all of that, really I do. But that's not what I was told prior. The expectations were set high by Sam ( who was all smiles and charm day one) and today I met serious Sam. No smiles. Only lowered expectations. And ultimately a wheel I. Ant drive on. Would not recommend them read more

I had a borrowed a car and gashed the rim beyond what we thought could be repaired. not wanting to pay the factory fees associated for new rim , I called RTP Customs and they could have it ready Monday as they are closed weekends , however I had to return the car Sunday. The owner himself was willing to work overnight due to my circumstances and went above and beyond the end result to me look like a work of art as well. Great work at very reasonable price. I had set of 2003 BMW M3 wheels refinished with the very challenging Hyper Silver finish. They did amazing job! Wheels look awesome! They also receipted for a new set of tires I had sent to their shop by Tire Rack. They mounted and balanced for me so when I picked up the job all I had to do was remount my complete wheels and tires. Can it get any better or easier? I worked with Sam and he was very responsive whenever I had a question--most importantly he passed my test of his knowledge on how to create the proper Hyper Silver finish. The only thing an M3 owner needs to know is the small wheel badges will need to be replaced as they will be damaged when removed for refinishing. BMW dealers stock these at about $8.00 each. I'm very happy with my service at RTP Customs and would highly recommend this shop. My 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport hit a curve pretty bad and damaged the wheels on the passenger side. I took it to Nissan dealership and they said it would cost $600 to order just one wheel for the car. The service guy recommended RTP for wheel repair and I drove up to Ackworth same day. They were very quick with the inspection and said it's fixable and only be $125 per wheel. I needed to get it done that same day so I agreed and within a couple hours they had both wheels fixed. After searching for a rim all over junk yards. I was referred to RTP Customs by a friend. I was skeptical at first, because I did not know that rims were repairable. I called and talked to Sam about my rim being bent. He assured me that it wasn't as bad as I was making it out to be. So,I dropped my rim off between my classes and he told me I should hear back tomorrow. When he called the next day and said my rim was ready, I could not believe it.
