I showed him a spot on her fur that I wanted more attention towards during cleaning, and she came home with some of that gum still stuck to her fur. He bumped up the price twenty dollars in front of me, after reading her file. She came home kind of clean, but with no bandana or fragrance. Wasted our time!. Some guy recommended him, we're supposed to be a new customers, Hard to book an appointment with him as he prefers txt message only. If you call it sends to voice mail that says txt message prefer Which i did. And he booked us for monday appointment as his Saturday was fully booked. Decided to take my 2 small dogs here to get groomed. Starts out a bit weird where you have to park in the back, and the worker has to come out and evaluate your dogs? On the phone we spoke about pricing, and it was $65 starting for full treatment He goes to look at my dogs, ask if any flee's or skin rashes/sensitive skin I proceeded to say no. They are very simple small dogs. He tries to charge me $85 for 1 dog $75 for the other... No thanks, will definitely not be going here. Normally you want to give your good first impression to a new customer. I even mentioned, I'm looking for a regular groomer in the area. We got there and called as the door was closed, and this happened: The person rudely (actually scoldingly) said, "Whoever booked the appointment should have told you the drop off instructions!" We were already there on time so why didn't they just tell us the instructions because obviously they forgot to send it? I wonder why the attitude? why the rude tone? I began dropping my two small dogs off at this place as a word of mouth referral. I have never had a bad experience here and can tell that the employees are passionate about their business. They are appointment based only, so call ahead of time. I usually get my dogs about 4 hours after I drop them off, which works perfect with my work schedule. They offer flea and tick shampoo as an alternate to their usual so don't be afraid to ask for that. The last time I walked in they had a wet dog on the floor tied down and it was being dried by a cheap fan.. if that's what you wanna spend your money on (75+) then ok... my dog has been here twice and every time he came back scared and biting his legs/tail none stop because he had cuts. BACKGROUND: So I have three dogs total, tarzan, jane, and max. But today I only took two of my dogs to get groomed. I took Tarzan and Jane. Tarzan is a maltipoo (Maltese mixed with poodle) and Jane is a schweenie (shih tzu mixed with daschund aka weiner dog) They're both a year and a few months, almost 2 years old (human years) and have never gone to a groomer. I've tried to groom them myself at home with machines but they're both equally as scared of the machine. I've tried taking them to a few places but was declined service because my dogs were scared and barked at them and said they were "aggressive". I found this place on yelp and it's not the closest one to my house but the reviews is what got me to come to this place. THE EXPERIENCE: I regret not getting the team's names because they deserve the credit. They did an amazing job and handle the dogs very well. I've gone to several grooming shops (for my third dog) and this is the first place that didn't have dogs barking and crying. The staff greeted us with friendly smiles and explained the process and got friendly with the dogs to make it an easier transition for them. The process for both dogs took around 3 hours so not bad at all. CONCLUSION: Overall, I'm very satisfied with the grooming my dogs received. The service was awesome, the dogs came out looking great and not anxious or nervous. This will be my new spot for all three of my dogs from now on. Thanks guys! read more
