We parked about a block away intentionally since the restaurant parking lot is not huge. After checking with the greeter we were promptly seated andvgreeted by our server, Linda, who was great throughout. There was a huge assortment of foods many of which you can see in my accompanying photos. What you cannot ascertain, however, is how delicious everything was! The prime rib was outstanding as was everything else. The did serve "Mom-Osas" and other spiritus libations. The deserts were wonderful as well, albeit perhaps a bit too sweet for this prediabetic. A lovely touch was a rose for each Mom who was there! ALL servers were attentive and courteous which was nice. Overall 'twas a delightful experience! Oh, the price was $50 per person. We have our wedding anniversary this coming Wednesday and I think i know where we'll be coming! If sightseeing or ghost-hunting in Gettysburg, DO check it out!

It's cool to get a cheap drink or shot, see the mine cave, listen to the music, and move on with your trip. Locals and travelers alike visit this establishment. It's not fancy and smells a bit musty but the clientele and pricing are great. I've been a patron here every time I'm in town for a few years now. It's a consistent experience every time, we are repeat customers. 21+ only NO KIDS. Pro tip: bar service & paying your check can be kinda slow because the bartenders get to talking - which is a bonus if you're on the receiving end of the talking.... but they get sidetracked often. Consider backing up your drink and paying cash up front. Anyway this is the reason it's knocked down a star, can get kinda frustrating when you just want a beer, sometimes it takes a while even if they aren't busy.

The bartenders, Jasmine and Derek, were straight to the point and friendly. Derek actually offered to make a specialty cocktail right as we sat down. Decent selection of local craft beer. Inexpensive drinks with fast service. Several of the other guests were not locals, but actually travelers that had deemed this place their go-to spot when staying in Gettysburg or passing through. No food menu, but you can bring your own or have food delivered. There is additional parking and entrance in the back off of Taneytown Road if the hotel parking is too full. Just the perfect cozy dive bar spot with a sweet fireplace and fun locals. Check it out!

We always are cheerfully greeted, and we are seated immediately because it was right after lunch and right before the dinner rush and we sat in the bar area on a high top and it worked out perfectly. Our server was outstanding. She came over got our drink order and if we wanted any appetizers which we did not get this time, but let me just say their appetizers are to kill for they are outstanding. As you can see in the photos, the burgers are done right they are nice and juicy and the toppings are just right in the buns are so fresh. It's crazy. So if you're in the Gettysburg Square area, we highly and I mean highly recommend stopping in here for either a burger or one of their other options which are all really good food well prepare prepared.

I forgot to take a picture but their brownie sundae was so good it was gone in a minute. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a delicious juicy burger!

Great place to get together with friends and enjoy some pizza, beer and games. The downside: the pizza is inconsistent. We ordered two Margherita pizzas that came out completely different. One was very crispy and charred with not much cheese. The other was floppy with more cheese on it. The flavor of both was just ok. One was a little heavy on the char, the other was heavy on the salt. We definitely expect more out of a place that makes pizza the centerpiece of the menu.

Located about 20 minutes outside of Gettysburg proper, we had reservations for a weeknight dinner. We arrived to the very large parking lot in front of the massive historic red building restaurant and barn along with a whole lot of other people coming in to experience this evening at Hickory Bridge Farm. Once inside there were tons of people waiting to get called, and there are crackers and cider to enjoy while waiting. Once your name is called, you pass through another set of doors into the MASSIVE open dining area with wood ceilings and pillars and a sea of tables. Most of the tables were large round or super long wooden tables just filled with families. We were just a party of two, but they also have smaller tables for us as well. Our server was Ashley and she was absolutely wonderful from start to end this evening. Now about how this all works.... You pay one price, except for cocktails, and the food begins to roll out to your table...and keeps coming! Dish after dish was placed on our table, to the point we had to teeter some right on the edge. It's all family style service, so nothing is portioned out. It's large dish after large dish after large dish...LOL The food we were served on this evening was good home cooked items. They start you off with spiced peaches, and salad, then came Chicken, brisket, potatoes, veggies, bread, etc... and of course you have to have dessert which they offered us two, of which they said, "you can have one or the other..or both... OINK I say... Hickory Bridge Farm is not fine dining, it is absolutely a good old fashion down home family dining experience. Every table was having a great time, and the food was good and certainly filling...And the attention from everyone there from beginning to end was the best.

I was looking for recommendations on Reddit when someone said something something to the effect of, "Hickory Bridge Farm - best food in Gettysburg." So I did my own research and thought it looked like an authentic family dinner experience and that's exactly what it was. It literally felt like we were sitting down to dinner like we use to decades ago. The setting is incredible, the store is great, the event center looked like it would a wonderful place for a wedding or party, and now we want to come back to stay at the cottages. Most of all, the food & hospitality were both outstanding. We had a conversation at the end of the night with owner Mary Lynn (I hope I have that right) and she was as sweet as could be. Can't wait to come back here again. If you're traveling to Gettysburg, make a reservation at Hickory Bridge Farm Restaurant - or if you are just a fortunate local who hasn't tried them out yet, put them on your list!
