Finally got my bagels. Quick and fast service. In and out in 3min. They have unique selection on bagels and seasonal ones and the schmear too. I got the 6 bagels deal: Shallot Cacio e pepe Jalapeno cheddar Everything Salted rosemary Seasonal: strawberry crunch. Was looking forward their chocolate cherry, but they ran out. Plenty of indoor seating. They also serve coffee etc. There's a self serve water station. Parking: easy free street parking.

Nice facade and ambience with outdoor seating.

The service was quite good and our waiter was polite, friendly and gave us good tips on our menu choices. The location is great and the ambience was quite good. The various pastas we ordered were average. I was really looking forward to dining here, but it was a bit of let down. While the portion sizes were generous, the dishes had a flavor of being pre-made and assembled together, almost in a fast-food kind of way, lacking an exquisite made to order and plated kind of feeling. As our waiter was great, I am fine with the 20% service charge added (and called out in large font on the bill) and the restaurant being upfront about it. But, it does seem like the management decided to pass this on to the customer to offset their cost increase due to the minimum wage going up to $20 per hour. It would be more reasonable to make that 15% and the restaurant adjust for their increased labor costs.

Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado for the win.

First time in, won't be the last. If this picture doesn't accurately describe the BLTA, on a rosemary bagel, then any description I could provide wouldn't help.

***** 5 STARS ***** on a early 08:30am sunday morning my date & me decided to go explore a new untried Bagel & Coffee destination. WOW we were overwhelmed by the ambiance, friendly service & the food. our orders were quickly & accurately taken over the counter while we found a vacant table & chairs. very soon the food & coffee were available for pick-up @ the counter. returning our cozy seats we throughly enjoyed ourselves 100%. we will return for sure. Rubinsteins Bagels is a winner, a Home Run, ***** 5 STARS ***** on-street parking was a problem. the bathrooms were easy accessible & clean, a fun family place with a small lending library! expansive food & beverage menu. NO CASH, digital payment only.

Fun spot - nice and open and airy in the summer, I'm sure it'll be warm inside in the winter. Appetizers and cocktails were solid...as we consumed those i realized we were running behind schedule so asked for our mains to-go. Staff didn't just handle this smoothly, but we could feel that they cared and wanted us to have a good experience with the food, even if we couldn't eat while there. Looking to coming back later one of these evenings and checking out that bar...

6/30/2024 Came back again to try their beets salad. You guys gotta try this salad! Vibrant beets meet creamy ricotta, toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of sherry vinegar. It's a symphony of textures and flavors--a must-try! Chef came to our table and said hi and their service was great.

    Is it noisy?

So where the couches are is usually noisy but nothing extreme, the side where the bar is (they have a few 2 person tables there) is much quieter

Their bagels are fabulous as is their lox. For those, like me, who can unhinge their jaw for an authentic pastrami or corned beef masterpiece. Go with the "Ding sized" sandwich. They'll make a smaller Seattle sized version as well for those who don't treat deli as an indulgence of rye and meat piled high. I wish they'd add kreplach to the menu (sorry Vance. I know my litany is old!) but I keep discovering new deliciousness here even after being a regular for nearly 4 years since my recovery from a life threatening illness, that I recovered from in part due to making regular stops here during my post surgical recovery. Just today I had the blintzes for the first time with their in house made cherry compote and sour cream. Amazing. Keep up the amazing work!!! My recommendation for newbies. Get the pastrami on marbled rye with gribenes and mustard. If you're feeling extra indulgent ask for a schmear of chopped liver, if you're keen on said. You won't regret it!

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

The bagels were delicious and toasted perfectly. It came with whipped butter and raspberry jam on the side. The pastrami omelet was very large and came with a generous serving of potatoes. ALso tried the pastrami and corned beef breakfast bagel, which was packed with almost like an omelet tucked inside a bagel. Also got a side of hand made chicken sausage which was okay. Tasted healthy. The one disappointment was the vanilla latte. It tasted more like it came from an automated coffee machine than a traditional espresso machine and lacked the flavor and quality I was expecting. Most things are self-serve here, including finding your own seating, grabbing silverware, getting water, and pouring drip coffee. As we were leaving, a live musician was getting set up to play, Which added a really welcoming atmosphere. The inside is nicely decorated and family friendly, with lots of children's books around to help keep little ones entertained. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but the portions are large. Food tastes good, large portions, cozy atmosphere, and live music, I'd come back again though I'd probably skip the latte next time.

We ordered both the #7 Omelette: Nova Scotia Lox and the #2 Omelette: The Supreme Omelette. Of course both were such generous portions that we had leftovers. We also got the Reuben.
