I called their number and got booked for a consultation Monday morning with a service block time from 11am- 1pm. Everything seemed ok until Monday comes during my appointment service time (between 11am-1pm, mind you I took time off work for the visit) but time passes and nobody calls/shows up. It's now ~12:45pm; am I suppose to waste my entire day waiting around to "wait and see" if they can make it!? Finally, I texted and called them to see if they are in fact coming in but no response. Totally ghosted. The way Rubio's Plumbing waste people's time! Customer's time is very valuable. We have to re-arrange our schedules to accommodate and when you waste our time (time that should be spent with loved ones, family/friends, errands that were placed on hold or even taking time off work losing money) that really loses your customers. read more

I had a major water piping problem. My house is old so the piping is old too. The pipe for the water going out of the house was eroded. This caused my kitchen sink to back up constantly. Robert ran a camera and discovered the problem. Plus I had previous work done on the sewer which was not done properly. Robert had to explain to me step by step the work which had to be done. Needless to say I was having a meltdown. It was a major repair. They had to jack hammer 75ft of concrete to place the pipe. Then come back to pour new concrete. It took about 4 days to complete the work. All during that time the bathroom was up and running. One day only was I not able to use the kitchen sink. My experience was all good working with Robert and his staff. I appreciate working with a company that knows what they are doing. read more

Looking for an honest professional plumber! Mr. Rubio's professional experience came to light when we were, In need of drain line replacement after a sink clog left us with a bill of $1400 from a yellow page company competitor.. Original price to clear a drain was going to be $89.00 with senior discount, that grew from there. To repair 6 feet of old cast line and connect to our existing drain lines. Was quoted to replace the old sewer lines was going to cost $13,000. It was recommended to replace 70 year old cast plumbing in order to not have any more drainage problems. Contacted a few plumbers who came out to over sell a job with high pressure tactics and provide estimates. Before contacting, Mr. Rubio who came out in less than 30 minutes, walked us through the process after doing a thorough inspection using his snake camera and evaluating the plumbing connections had provided us a few options to get the job done correctly. We scheduled to get the work done his crew came out and did an excellent job providing pictures of what the job involved and ensuring that the job was done correctly. Mr Rubio showed up when promised and his crew did a fantastic job on, clean up and disposal of all the removal of pipes removed from under the house. I recommend Mr. Rubio is an honest professional hard working person, at times he helped out his crew by doing the work himself in lending a helping hand as any professional person would do to ensure the job is done properly. This review is a little over due but better late then never I always say haha! We had a bit of a toilet emergency after my son decided to throw baby wipes in the toilet :( Fortunately, Robert was able to come over quickly to get the problem fixed for the night because we also ended up finding out the pipe underneath was corroding (guess the wipes incident was a blessing is disguise). He ended up getting it in working condition for the night and the next day came over to replace the damaged pipe and even replaced my toilet! I was looking for a plumber to fix my broken toilet and called Rubio's Plumbing based on their yelp reviews. I spoke with Robert and set up an appt for 1pm. Robert showed up 30 min late and never even called to let me know he was running late. He inspected the toilet, told me what needed to be done and said he would send me an estimate for the cost of fixing it. After a couple of days, I still hadn't received his estimate, so I texted him asking if he had the estimate for the repairs. He never responded.
