Ruby Nails salon came as a recommendation from my daughter's friend. We had an appointment at 6pm for a no chip manicure. The place had a nice ambiance and is clean. I arrived 15 min early and they were able to fit me in for a pedicure as busy as they were. The spa chairs were really nice and not worn down. One of the best spa chairs I have sat in. The pedicure was really good and the best no chip manicure I have ever had. Though it is a bit far from where I live it is worth the trip. Prices are the same as most nail salons. read more

I went in with my friend after we got off work 3/9. We walked in the door at 6:09 pm they were to close at 7. We asked if they had time for 2 pedicures and the receptionist walked to the back and came back and said yes. She asked if we could pay before we got started so we did. $35 for a pedicure which is a bit high so I'm assuming it's going to be a great pedi. I broke my foot in January and hadn't had a pedicure since New Years so you can imagine that I was in rough need. We paid & picked our colors. My friend got started right away and I sat there in the chair soaking for about 10 minutes before my nail tech finally comes over and doesn't even acknowledge me. She was really rough and seemed super annoyed that I was even there. I get the annoyance of when people come in when it's almost time to close but it was a little under a hour. She started my pedicure at 6:26 & she was finished 6:39 pm. I am not exaggerating. My coworker was still having her nails trimmed and filed when she started my polish! I am an Aesthetician and I NEVER jeopardize a service because of time. I was assuming my tech was going to run out of the door since she rushed through my pedicure but she stood across the room on her phone the entire rest of the time we were there. My coworkers pedicure was finished at 6:53. She dried for a bit and we left at 6:58. I will not be recommending Ruby's nails to any of my friends or clients. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had & for $35 I would expect a bit more care and I would expect that my feet would feel at least a little softer then when I came in. Been going here for the last 6 months, not a bad spot, but pretty pricey. Unfortunately I've started to notice it's a hit or miss for how long my no chip stays on and because this last time, 4/10 nails have chipped within one week of receiving the no chip, I have to give them a low review. Going to try another spot in the neighborhood to see if the no chip lasts the full two weeks like advertised. Pretty disappointed with this spot. read more

I highly recommend Ruby Nails. I came earlier this week for waxing with Toma (best waxer ever-she's been my go to for 5 years) & decided to come back to try a spa pedicure. The owner and staff are professional and very friendly. This salon is brand new and super clean with a bright, modern interior. They greeted us with a cup of relaxing green tea, which was a nice touch. The chair massage and spa pedi (mud mask, paraffin wax treatment) was excellent. They followed it up with a nice back & shoulder massage. All in all a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back! read more

I LOVE Ruby Nails! I am so excited that they just opened since they are just a hop, skip and a jump away from my place. The salon is absolutely gorgeous with a smooth/calming atmosphere. The staff members are incredibly friendly and warm. Superb service! I felt so welcomed at their salon today. It was a pleasure to meet Mogie, who did a beautiful job on my no chip manicure, and have a sweet chat with the owner, Undra. (Excuse me if I misspelled your name!) The show, "Friends" was on in the background so everyone at the salon enjoyed some laughs. I also enjoyed the green tea scrub. It smells amazing! I was so excited to have a new nail place in the neighborhood! I stopped in Sunday afternoon for a manicure and it was great! Good OPI color selection and the owner was great and very helpful and friendly. My manicure looks perfect and it was capped with a wonderful neck and shoulder massage! This place is right near my house so I go pretty regularly! The place is clean and the staff is really nice, however the actual manicures and pedicures aren't the best. I am currently looking at my manicure that I got done Saturday it's now Tuesday and they are all chipping. This is pretty on par for this place. I got a gift certificate for my birthday so I planned to get a pedicure because I go to my usual place to get a dip mani. It looked busy and like a good spot and I needed to get them redone so I figured I'd try them. In general, my nail tech was rough - from filing my nails to grabbing my toes to paint them. Then comes the dip mani- she asked if I wanted the same shape and i said yes- apparently that meant so square to the pint of tacky! When I'm reality I always get my nails shaped round. When I brought it to her attention she "fixed" them by making them really skinny and pointy. Another tech stepped in to fix the shape- by this time my nails didn't even look like they belonged to me. Not to mentioned they left dip pieces all over my actual finger and behind my nail. I will never go back to this place and i will never recommend. The only reason why I'm giving them two stars is because they comped the dip but even then- i did not feel compensated. Now i have to wait for my nails to grow back to their regular, beautiful shape. read more

I've been here for both waxing and nail appointments, and while my nails looked great, the rest of my experience was not. I had scheduled 2 months in advance a mani/pedi for my bridal party (6 women) at 3 pm. We were told that we would all be booked to start at 3 pm and that would require all their nail techs, so no other appointments would be made. We received a call at 2:45 asking if we'd be there with 6 and we confirmed that we would be there by 3 pm with all six of us. Despite that, we arrived at 3 pm to find 4 women who had just started mani/pedis. We were there until 5:30. At 4:30, when I mentioned that we'd been there for an hour and a half and really needed to leave soon, I was scolded for rushing the nail tech. Mind you, at this point, only one person has her nails totally done and 2 people had just started their pedicures. After an hour and a half. All of my bridesmaids had ruined nails for the wedding because it took so long and they were unable to stay long enough for them to dry properly. One bridesmaid didn't even get her toes done because she sat near the pedicure station for over an hour waiting for someone to come to her. It was the biggest waste of $300. It caused us to be late to our rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner which caused further complications and expenses. We were treated like walk ins despite a reservation and an assurance that we'd be made a priority. I also got a bikini wax a week earlier. The waxer was incredibly nice, but tore off a large portion of my skin. No experienced waxer should rip off skin. I also left immensely sticky -- the wax was not properly removed from my skin. She also arrived 15 minutes late to the appointment. Moral of the story: Nice people. Good manicures. Bad at honoring reservations and disrespectful of our time. Their unwillingness to honor our reservation ruined my bridal party's nails and ruined my rehearsal dinner. I wish I would have walked out when I saw they had taken other appointments. So, don't make reservations here -- you'll get better service as a walk in. read more

Started going here when I moved into the neighborhood back in May. I'm very particular about my nail salons and am willing to travel for a good one. This one however is top-notch! I get the OPI gels and they last 3 weeks! I've also got multiple pedis here that have lasted 4+ weeks (I'm a runner too). I found my new nail place! My mom and I walked in for a no chip and regular mani they were full and a few people walked in after but they were still accommodating to everyone! My mom and I got to sit next to eachother (which is never the case) and Jenny took great care to give me a beautiful set of no chip nails with all the works! Came here on a Sunday with my niece and son to have them get manicures. I called with not much notice and they were able to easily accommodate me into their schedule even though it was busy. They made me feel comfortable as soon as we walked in and they were great with the kids. The nail tech was was able to make a little design on my nieces nails with no charge and their prices were so reasonable, I was actually astounded...$20 for 2 children's manicures. Best spa pedicure I've had in a long time! It comes with the works (scrub, paraffin treatment, callous removal, massage) and lasts an hour not counting drying time. It was super relaxing and my nails look great! The whole salon was spotlessly clean too. What stands out to me though was the customer service. I had a 7pm appointment on a Friday and they didn't rush my service at all (which has definitely happened to me at many other nails salons). Technicians were warm and attentive and the place generally had good vibes. I also noticed that a couple walk-in customers requested mani/pedis within an hour of closing, and instead of turning them away or rushing through both services, they had the mani technician do the manicure chair-side while another technician did the pedi in the pedi chair. While I would not personally request a combined service that close to closing time, I thought that was really great that they found a way to fully accommodate them and I've never seen a nail salon do that. They do all the little "extras" too, e.g. offer you tea, finish with a shoulder massage, etc. Too many nail salons forget that they are providing a service, and a luxury one at that for many people, and instead just try to turn over seats. But this is the kind of business that sets the standard and where I felt my money was well spent. I will be back for sure! read more

I decided to try this place with a friend because of the high Yelp rating. The interior was very nice and the chairs were super comfy so I was looking forward to the experience. I had called ahead to make sure my friend and I could get a pedi and no chip manicure and they said it would not be a problem. We arrived and were immediately seated for our pedi. Hers was solid, mine not so much. The woman barely gave me a massage (best part!) and seemed to rush through leaving my nails lopsided and nail polish on my skin. She then goes to start on my manicure but was quickly kicked out of her chair by the manager (?) because she had used the wrong base coat "because she hasn't worked there for very long". Great..... so I had to sit there and have the first few coats removed with the acetone and foil while the manager disappears. The previous technician had cut into my cuticles so the acetone was definitely starting to feel uncomfortable. Ten minutes later, still nothing so I start to peel off the foil. A few minutes after that, the second tech comes running back after taking care of another customer to apologize and take care of me. Unfortunately, I was pretty grouchy by that point and my friend's manicure was practically done so I just told the her that I was no longer interested in the manicure. All in all, a waste of money and time. I understand that there are people learning but in that case, extra attention should be given to the technician and the customer instead of running off and trying to juggle a bunch of walk-ins. read more

The receptionist was really overbearing and quite rude to the nail technicians, something that I find really off putting in a business.
