I have been going here for about 8 years and have always been very satisfied with excellent services. On this particular occasion, I had made an appointment for myself and a friend for mani (gel fill and polish)/pedi services as well as for 2 of my grandchildren to have pedicures. The appointment was for 1:30; we were not seen until 2:15. My pedicure was substandard, at best ... previous polish was not completely removed and cuticles were not trimmed. one week later, I am in desperate need for another pedicure! Everyone else was satisfied with their pedicures. When I was relocated for the manicure, I was told my tech did not know how to provide gel fill/polish ... another 20 minute wait to have someone else provide that service. This tech was more concerned with answering the phone, scheduling appointments and managing the floor than providing optimal care. Even though this was a one-time disappointment, I feel as though this is their current modus operandi so; therefore, I will definitely not be returning to this salon. read more

This is my go to salon for Manis and pedis. It seems really clean and is always busy. The gel manicures I have gotten here still look great by the time my nails have grown out. Some of the staff is friendlier and does a better job than others, but I think you'll find that most places. read more

Haven gotten pedicures done here over a span of a few years with no problem. Last few months i noticed they were yellowish white but figured it was the acetone or dead skin. Today i removed my nail polish, cut and filed my toenails to realize it looked like fungus. Im disgusted, they did my nail polish right over it and didn't mention there may be an issue. This is the only place I've gone for my pedicures for many years and have good hygiene, the only reason for this would be they are not sanitizing their supplies. I just moved to the area and asked multiple people to recommend a good nail salon. I like my nails in a coffin shape which surprisingly many nail salons that I've gone to say they know how to do it, but it ends up not looking good. After trying one nail salon a week and a half ago my nails were not shaped good and they were all breaking. I decided to try Ruby nails next but I honestly expected that I would have to try many more other nail salons to finally find one that does my nails how I like them. Just had the worst experience at Ruby Nails. It was as if no one wanted to be bothered as I walked in. Finally, the girl came over, laughing w/ the other worker and talking in their native language. The massage chair wasn't working and when I bought it to the woman's attention, she said, "It's moving" then stated, "Maybe it's broken" and did not even offer another vacant seat or the one next to us. When done and she walked me to the drying table, she pulled the rolling chair out and when I sat in it, I almost fell out, shirt when up, and bumped my ankle bone. Was there 24h ago and my hand hurts like crazy. There were too many mistakes made and I won't return here. Put peroxide on my hands once I got home and all of my fingers began to bubble... I'm not happy. The salon is dirty. Lots of stains on the walls, the armrest on the nail desks are falling apart, and many of them are not covered in a way that they could be sanitized easily. The instruments that they used did not appear to come from an auto clave, and they certainly were not coming out of sterile packaging. I'm actually really anxious right now because, the individual who was working on my nails was juggling so many things at once that they cut my finger with the Dremel bit and caused bleeding. I know accidents happen and I'm understanding in this way. However, there was no way for me to sanitize my wound. No rubbing alcohol no peroxide, nothing. I washed my hands and was offered a Band-Aid but what I needed was something to clean the wound, especially seeing the state of their equipment. Honestly, if my daughter wasn't already in the middle of a manicure, I would have just left at that point to go home and clean my wound. The person who cut my hand was apologetic and I appreciate that. I was then handed to another person to finish my manicure. I had asked for a specific decoration on two of my nails and this was not communicated between the nail techs . I decided not to reiterate my interest in having nail art done because the second nail tech was so aggressive in their approach that they also ended up hurting my hand several times, and I had no faith she'd do a good job with painting a flower. The second nail tech would use a tool to clip the cuticle but then just tear off what was there. She did this several times, even though I told her it hurt, and even though I moved my hand away, it continued to happen. I have lots of rough areas on top of my nails now because, she did not care using the dip powder and the gloss that goes after it. She touched it with her hand and it made an imprint and she left it there anyway. In addition, I also have dip powder stuck to my skin as a result of the tech being careless. at the end, I think that they undercharged us for what would typically have been the cost of our services, but I'm not 100% sure. I want to go back and have them fix the issue with the nail that she screwed up, but I really just don't wanna go back there. The shape of my nail is wonky. She didn't give me an option for what shape I wanted and they are most certainly not balanced. I am at the point just really, really hoping that I don't continue to regret my visit there. The short version: great prices, thorough attention to detail, would go back! The long version: If you're looking for a good pedicure, this is the place to go. (I've only been for this, but will be back for a manicure at some point). They offer "upgrades" which are well worth it in my opinion. I got the lavender and my friend got the green tea. Both came with awesome foot/leg massages, exfoliating treatment, etc. Definitely one of the most thorough pedicures I've ever gotten and at a price that a "normal" pedicure ($45) at other places would cost. Treated myself to a honey scrub pedicure. It was amazing and smelled so good. They put actual honey on my legs and feet. Left feeling so smooth. The pedicure itself was just like any salon. They do the job well. A standard pedicure. Workers dont talk much which for me is totally fine I would rather sit there and relax. Except there was not relaxing music playing like most spas and salons. Also the stones they rub on your legs were taken out of the warmer too early so they were cold and no longer "hot stones". The place itself has a ton of workers so I have never waited very long to get taken care of. The place is clean and smells great. I stopped in to the establishment on a Thursday around noon. Just wanting a normal polish manicure - I was expecting the place to be PACKED! And boy, was I right. I was immediately greeted at the front, told to pick a color and to sit down to wait. I was quickly helped and immediately being worked on. They have a good amount of pedicure seats (about 15?) and several manicure spots to work at (maybe 20?). They offer a wide variety of services and all at an amazing price in my opinion. The regular manicure only cost $13. I am no expert or regular but that price didn't seem too bad to me. While I was there (about 20 minutes) SEVERAL parties came in for a mani and pedi combo. There seemed to be no great way to keep track of exact amount of wait time - or who was waiting or who had given up and left. That is my only complaint. The establishment looked clean and professional. The drying area was large enough to fit about 8 women - the machine helped my nails dry quickly and in a short amount of time. While I was there, I saw a worker going around offering neck/shoulder massages to customers getting their fingernails done. I had never seen that before. I politely declined. Here I am, sitting, typing this review almost 5 days later. With my regular manicure. The paint has begun peeing and my cuticles are dry. Sad. It only lasted about one or two days.. which I guess is to be expected with a normal polish? Anyway, if you need something quick and cheap. I would suggest going here! read more

Me, my mom and my best friend have been to Ruby Nails over a dozen times. My best friend and I have had great experiences with Tina and Anna. However my mom and I also had bad experiences with Zoey as she was very short and rude, I would say thank you multiple times and she would ignore me and had a negative attitude. My appointment was at 12 got there on time, told them I had an appointment went and picked a color and sat down. 30 minutes go by and no one has said anything not so much as a " we are running behind" which I understand things happen but to say nothing at all. This was my first time at Ruby Nails. They speak no English, so do not expect to have any questions answered. I wanted a gel mani- pedi, but they used regular polish on my toes. I asked why, never got an answer, but paid the gel price. The quality of service depends on the technician you get. The men appeared to do a very good job, but the women were abrupt and disinterested. I saw lots of shortcuts taken. The person whom I had (Ellen) must have been having a bad day because she actually pushed my legs into the basin, skipped several steps, and acted like a pouty teenager. Made an appointment for an acrylic fill with gel polish. I asked for white tips that were faded/ombre and offered a picture of what I wanted. There must have been a communication barrier because he did not understand what I wanted (even with the picture). In the end I just let him do what he wanted because I didn't know how else to explain it. The white tips he did were crooked and bumpy. I showed him and he didn't see anything wrong with the nails. Years ago, this was a great place. Not so now. A friend and I were treated rudely two years ago. Yes! The nail techs laugh and make rude comments about guests. I went another time --with an appointment. I was ignored for a very long time! When some one did arrive at the desk, I told him he was rude and I was not coming back. I made an appointment to get a full set and pedicure. Walked out with a pedicure and gel nails. The man who did both my pedi and mani was terrible, and did less than the bare minimum for my toes. Now speaking of what I made my appointment for, a full set, the man started filing my nails and then asked if I wanted them shorter. I said yes, because I don't like my natural nail to be too long under tips. He said, "A full set??" And told the nail techs next to them and they started talking and laughing.
