Such a pretty cake. Fig and goat cheese cake? Next time.

The hype is justified at Ruby's! I've tried to come a couple of times but the line was too long and I couldn't wait. This morning I had no where to be so I headed in here to finally try their amazing looking pastries. Firstly, the service was great. The lady at the pastry counter got my order ready while I was in line so it was ready to go when I got to the register. Very efficient, and that's great because this little bakery seems to get really busy. I ordered two fig danishes and one ham and cheese croissant. The ham and cheese croissant was one of the best I've ever had. The lamination on the huge, buttery, savory pastry was so perfect and made for the best flakey and doughy crunch! and there was a thick stack of thin sliced ham and cheese in it also. In SF this croissant would easily be $12-$15. I'm saving one fig danish to share with my mom when she comes over later and I took the other one to my sister in law who was excited when she saw the gorgeous fresh figs on top. I'm sure it will be just as delicious as the croissant. I will 100% be back but sooner this time!

Not much to say about this place again, except if you're thinking about trying this place out, stop thinking about and just go. Everything so far has been very good. Their pastries, their coffee, their pies and ricotta egg toast are all very good. They are usually pretty busy, but they make sure to move the line quickly. They have tables, so you can definitely sit and have a nice breakfast with people. But all in all, if you're thinking about checking this place out, just do it haha

Omg. This place has never failed me, everything is so yummy. They've expanded the inside to allow for more seating and it is lovely. The line however will steady be outside of the door. I'm just glad there's a small parking lot next door for easy access. I suggest trying any and everything here, even grab a bag of their coffee beans. Such an experience and well worth a visit.

Stopped by during the street fair and this place was packed! Thankfully the turnaround time for the tables was fairly quick and there's plenty of seating. The cappuccino was silky, smooth perfection! The iced latte was just another latte...nothing special. My strawberry danish was AMAZINGLY fresh and crispy. I swear I could eat layer by layer lol. Everyone behind the counter was working hard and they all were so pleasant. Overall this place is a 10/10...I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here.

Good bye.... Ruby Tuesday!! Sorry, first thing I think of. The next thing I think of are delectable, decadent, delights such almond/chocolate croissants, beautifully decorated cakes and danishes. The CC cookies are always worth getting even if it's to eat later on after dinner with a nice cold glass of milk. They offer tasty breakfast toasts/sands/pastries with eggs and bacon and avocado and other fancy type of breakfasts which may include chorizo and potatoes. I like!! They offer Insight Coffee and their vanilla lattes and mochas are really well made with the right froth and sweetness. It's a fast paced environment but never too busy for a "good morning" or "thanks for coming ," shout out. Plenty of parking in front or the back. Busy bustling atmosphere. Lots of eye candy behind the display glass and you can even see the bake staff doing their thing in the back creating magic! Check out Ruby's on Church. Preach!!

Absolutely one of the best cafes in California. A hidden gem in the Central Valley, located in downtown Lodi. The coffee is perfect, flavorful and creamy. The baked goods are a nice touch. You can't go wrong with a pick here. The sliced pizza & breads are great choice for brunch. I had a question about the pesto & the head chef came to answer my questions. That was very helpful & kind of them to take time to answer my questions. This is a happy, warm & sunny place, the ambiance is upbeat and relaxing.

Great coffee and bakery - Lodi local. Love the vibe - space is quite spacious and mellow. Sundays preferred. Staff is friendly but very busy!!

Hands down the Best bakery in Northern California! Great pastries and coffee! Must try the coffee cake and morning bun with orange zest. Also tried the croques monsieur and it was awesome.

Ruby's is located on Church street. Plenty of street parking or there is a lot across the way. When you walk in it's industrial vibes with wood furniture. It can get quite loud so I wouldn't come here to study, but it's more of a place to meet a friend or enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. The service can feel a little rushed so take a minute to look and decide before hoping in line. There was plenty of seating but a lot people took their items to go. One note: someone did bring out my danish because it was getting heated up but they have you clear your own table and put the dishes in a bin near the drink pick up area. The pastries are excellent. I opted for the chorizo and egg danish with a chocolate chip cookie on the side. The danish was flaky and the chorizo was so flavorful. They offered me a side of salsa that had a nice kick to it and paired well with the danish. The chocolate chip cookie was full of rich chocolate chunks and had a nice crisp around the edges but soft center. It's more flat and chewy which I like. I also got a cappuccino which paired nicely with the cookie. Prices were good given the quality of the food. It is amazing and I will definitely be back to try other items.

    Menu and awards they have!

Came at the last hour the cafe was open since I was having brunch with friends at a restaurant around the corner. From the pictures on Yelp, I was looking forward to the sugar bun and turnovers but sadly wasn't able to snag any. I imagine they sold out quickly! I got their chocolate chip cookies and chocolate croissants and they were SO YUMMY. Service was quick and fast. They have a good amount of seating and tables for those who want to dine in. Would definitely return if I was ever back in the area!

Our first visit to Ruby's and we wi be back! Everyone is greeted when they walk through the door and you quickly feel like old friends. They have it dialed in-the food and the service. Convenient location, clean, friendly and excellent pastries and latte.

Back again and always satisfied my pastries craving and worth the drive from Elk grove ! Ruby's morning buns is my fav one by far and their special chocolate hazelnut twist with coffee glaze is so good

The Dubai Chocolate Mocha was beautiful in appearance and just as much in flavor. It was creamy, balanced in chocolate and coffee and not too much additives for the Dubai Chocolate experience so this was a great choice of a mid-day beverage. The experience was also very pleasant with the barista/cashier showing great customer service attitude and a smile worth complimenting. With a combination of all these factors, I'd give the overall experience a solid 7/10: nothing over the top but still a great lowkey/chill experience for friends and family to fellowship or study.

I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.
