Brown lettuce is the first stop. I didn't see them do it, but they have to be dumping the new lettuce on top of old. Moving down the salad bar, each topping tray had numerous toppings on them. A lot of the toppings looked like they had been there all day. I did the 2 star because the beets were really good. I was not surprised when I got to the dressings and none of them were labeled, but the didn't need to be because there was a sampling of all 8 in each bowl. My parents and my sister have eaten in this Ruby Tuesday since they opened their doors and when I could join them I was as impressed as they were. It was hard to eat there tonight with the knowledge that their prices have skyrocketed and their food quality has ended up in the gutter. All of our entrees were dry and flavorless. I ordered the 6 oz. ribeye with baked potato. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told they were out of baked potatoes, they gave me broccoli instead of the potato. The broccoli was dry and cold. Maybe a little butter would help. I couldn't use butter as the broccoli was cold. And for my medium rare steak, it was well done and so dry it didn't have flavor. We had a bad experience about a year ago and got a coupon to come back. Paul W was our waiter tonight and he definitely turned our previous 1 star experience into a 5! He was always there to refill our drinks and check on us throughout our visit. He was very personable and one of the best, most attentive waiters that I have ever had. The food was cooked perfectly and it was overall a lot better of an experience than we previously have ever had at Ruby Tuesday. They definitely changed this place for the better over the past year and we will definitely come back to see Paul again! read more

Well this place used to be a favorite but today's meal changed that. Service wasn't that great, salad bar was decent but the entrees were terrible. $4 for a drink with no offer of a refill is ridiculous. They weren't busy so there's no excuse it's just poor management. We were told she was waiting on fish to fry but yet it came out soggy. My food looked like it had been thrown on the plate from across the room. I see other reviews mentioning they received a coupon after a negative review, I'll pass on the coupon because I'd rather not have this experience again even if it was free. read more

We had a party of 10 and a baby. The staff were great about setting up a table and accommodating our group. The ages varied from a 13 month old to a 90 year old. Everyone found something they liked. The server was nice. Many in our party added the salad bar to their entree for $5. The restaurant requires gloves while using the salad bar. The cheese dip was okay. The chips tasted stale. The fries were good. The onion rings were huge. The vegetables were tasty. The salad bar had a variety of choices. We joked about dislocating a shoulder while trying to reach items on the back row. We eat here quite often since they are one of the few restaurants close by with a salad bar. Good service. Good food. The only complaint is the women's restroom always smells like backed up sewage. It is very strong and nauseating and is enough to ruin your appetite. I try not to go in the restroom when I'm there however I forgot the other day and the smell was worse than ever! My wife and I had lunch here today and it was very disappointing from the service to the food the only good thing was the salad bar. I got the fried catfish and shrimp entrée, when it came the fish was 4 tiny pieces not much bigger than fish sticks. The breading was soggy with grease and not crispy at all the fries and shrimp were also undercooked and not even close to a golden brown. The tarder sauce and Cole slaw were both hot as the plate had obviously been left under a heat lamp..my wife got the deconstructed kabobs which looked like it was just some mess thrown on a plate. I had asked for extra Lemon when I ordered and none came with the meal so I had to ask again ...also drinks were never refilled. It's sad as my wife and I usually enjoy lunch here when heading to the parkway we both agreed we won't be stopping again and if this level of food and service continue it won't be long before this location closes like the rest of the chain. My dad and I dined at Ruby Tuesday last night and really enjoyed it! All of the Ruby Tuesdays in Michigan have shut down and we had gift cards to use, so we made sure to stop when passing through Bedford. I may have gone a little overboard on my salad, but it's been a while since I've been able to enjoy their salad bar and I wanted to try everything! Their ingredients were all fresh and plentiful, and I loved that they finely diced their tomatoes and onions instead of leaving them in larger chunks. I have always loved their croutons, and I also enjoyed their crunchy pickle chips this time. I tried a little taste of each of their prepared salads and the only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the rice was cooked a little al dente for me in the two that had rice. For my meal, I ordered the ultimate crispy chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The spicy and sweet barbecue sauce paired with honey mustard was excellent. My dad loved the hickory bourbon glaze on his salmon and ate every bit of his entree. We ordered a slice of carrot cake to go and it was huge and delicious. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention our awesome server, Mark! He had great customer service skills and did a wonderful Job waiting on us! We may stop by again for the salad bar on our way back home if we end up taking the same route! read more

This place is a hit or miss. I have only been to the Ruby Tuesday in Bedford twice. On my first visit, I had an awesome, friendly middle-aged waitress who was very attentive. She made me feel very comfortable. I got ribs, and she gave me an extra plate for bones and gave me hand wipes. She came around to ask if I needed more tea. Plus, she gave me a to-go cup. The food was hard to beat on that visit. This first visit, I would give a 4 or 5 star. On my second visit, I waited 10 minutes or more for waitress. I contacted manager. The young waitress came to my table with hand on her hip and just stared. I didn't like her attitude from the very start. She did not say anything, but I volunteered information as to what I wanted. She did not give me extra plate or extra wipes and napkins, never asked if I needed refill, never offered a to-go cup. I had to contact her. She did ask a couple of times if I was okay. Once, I caught her behind me for no reason. Perhaps she was spying on my phone. The food was only mediocre, and some of salad entries tasted old. Lettuce had a stale taste. Then she gave me the bill and had to swipe my card twice. I asked to speak to the manager. She ignored me, but swiped again. So I called my bank to make sure I wasn't charged twice. This girl made me feel uncomfortable. . I drove a good distance to come to Ruby Tuesday, and this second visit did not measure up. So, the average of the 2 visits, I am giving a 2. I doubt I will make an effort to visit again. read more

Stopped here today for the salad bar at lunch. I used to get it regularly in New York and it was fantastic. This was definitely not! Just walking in the door, the place just looks dated, dirty, and sad. Our table looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I ordered a Coke and it looked like watery iced tea. The server took it back and brought another. Same thing. The lettuce at the salad bar was wilted and rusty. There was a bowl with maybe a spoonful of cubes ham sitting in a puddle of *?* with chunks of egg dissolving in it. We decided to order something else instead. We rarely order steaks, because they are usually over cooked ( we both prefer medium rare to rare). Tonight, however my hubby's steak was perfect!!! Yes, a chain, but this one has improved in the past two years. They keep on top of the salad bar. No wiltedd lettuce here. They replace items constantly. I always eat at the bar. There's really only one other place in town with a real bar (Clam Diggers) so I enjoy having a beer and chatting it up with other locals or folks visiting the area. One can't have a good time at a bar without a good bartender, and they have three that I'm happy to see when I walk in. If either Joe, Theresa, or Samantha are working you will be treated well. Be sure to use any coupon you might have. If you don't belong to RT's customer's site you can download coupons from the web site. No need for a printer, they can scan the code of your phone. Dropped in for a late lunch while traveling through the area. Took forever to be greeted after being seated by a very nice female server. She told us that Craig would be right with us. After sitting for about 10 minutes, the same nice server came and asked what we would like to drink. My husband ordered a beer and she said the boys have to get the beer. There was what I'm assuming was a manager in a plaid shirt that seemed more interested in talking and answering the phone then what was going on in the restaurant. Yes, I understand he was taking togo orders. Another female server arrived. Her and manager proceeded to laugh and talk, rather than help Craig, who seemed to be taking all of the new tables, running his food, pouring his drinks, etc. The new server and manager never seemed to ask Craig what they could do to help him. They just walked around as slow as possible with scowls on their faces. The food was REALLY good and there seemed to only be one cook behind the line busting his butt. He was great. My husband's food was ran by the manager. He either didn't see my bowl of soup on the ticket/screen or he didn't bother to notice that I had nothing in front of me. Taking care of restaurant guests is not a priority at this restaurant. No apologies were expressed for the lack of service. All of the guests coming in were treated like an inconvenience or sent away by a long wait time. Amazing staff! Great bar! Gorgeous views of the Peaks!! One of the best views in Bedford, with walls of windows showcasing the mountains. Awesome wings!! The burgers are always great and the salad bar is endless.. Yum. But my go to is the Chicken Fresco, which is delicious. They have a great wine list, better than most!! Ruby Tuesday's used to be a nice place when they first opened a few years back. However, I went recently with friends and got the same thing I've always ordered which is a smokehouse burger cooked medium. Before I was done with dinner I started to feel sick and had to go home early. I thought that this was a one off so a few months later I returned with my mother. I only ordered fried food hoping that I wouldn't get sick, and she got the fish. We both felt ill within a few hours. I'm sure that 100% of their food isn't bad, otherwise they wouldn't be in business. However after having two bad experiences in a row I have no intention of returning, and wanted to share my story as a cautionary tale for visitors. For further context I've eaten at a grade C restaurant in NYC and not gotten sick, so I don't necessarily have a weak stomach. Finally my personal experiences aside, over the years the price for this franchise has steadily increased while their menu items have maintained the same 'quality' and their famous salad bar now offers what seems to be a third of the items that it used to. It appears that they attempt to justify this price increase by marketing themselves as a higher end place to eat. However, the food is still mass shipped frozen low grade food that might as well be cooked in microwaves and toaster ovens. If you want a nicer place to eat in this city, check out the 'Bedford Social club', or even 'The Station'. If you insist on wasting your money at a sit down place with low quality food I'd recommend you check out the Applebees across the street. Not bad for a chain. I do dislike that they scaled back their salad bar selection and raised the prices on everything, in order to provide the salad bar to everyone. I wouldn't really recommend a steak, but I've enjoyed their burgers, pasta dishes, and a few seafood dishes. They were pretty good.
