To be honest, this is the first time I've ever asked for something to be removed from my bill. The food was honestly, almost dangerous -- we ate the fried mushrooms they served, but they were positively gray... literally the color gray. The smaller ones were crunchy but the larger ones were soggy and we didn't eat them. My wife ordered the steak and asked for medium-rare... it was literally raw & she struggled to cut through the gristle. I ordered the shrimp and catfish platter, I took 2 bites of the catfish. The first bite I noticed a strange.... Idk chemically? Mercury like? I think the fish was bad. I took a second bite to find that my mouth literally was rejecting the fish. We both were disgusted at this point and pushed our food away. The waitress was understanding, she was clearly embarrassed and apologetic which I appreciate. The store looked run down with duct tape on the booths. I think they may not be doing too well financially -- which explains why my fish would be bad, keeping product too long.. We blew a tire, and while waiting we walked to Ruby Tuesday for a lunch. First of all, our waitress was good. Nothing in this review is her fault. The greeter seemed not to happy to be there, which was obvious with the sighs and the dumpy demeanor. The salad bar's veggies were all...old, and had been frozen or something. Real watery. Ordered a medium burger, got extra rare. I ate it anyway, but come on...check temps. It was overall kind of dirty, like not filthy but just like a layer of...I don't know. Enjoyed a lunch with my parents and my daughter on the weekend. My father and I had the chicken carbonara pasta, mom have the salad bar, And my daughter had a burger. My daughter finished her burger, which almost never happens, then I asked for a slice of cheesecake - which was delicious. My mother enjoyed the salad bar said it was in great shape and she ate her fill of fresh vegetables. My father and I's pasta was one of the best meals I've enjoyed in a restaurant since pre-Covid. It was creamy, delicious and loaded with chicken, and just what I needed. My dad enjoyed his as well. Monday at 4:pm . Food took 40 minutes, only one other couple sitting in the restaurant and they had already gotten food when we ordered. We ordered 3 kids burgers with fry's and a grilled chicken sandwich (soggy bun) with tater tots. Should'nt take 40 min. I got the salad bar, I got the last "clean plate" no good lettuce, The other type of lettuce was brown, the waitress was sweet and friendly. It was so slow the staff were all sitting around the bar chatting, music was sooo loud I couldn't hear anyone talking around the table, she kindly turned it down after I asked, worst music selection ever, then it was turned back up 5 min later. Visited Cadillac overnight so as to visit with one of my Uncles. I let him choose where he wanted to eat dinner - he chose Ruby Tuesday. We both opted to start with the salad bar. Lots of fresh vegetables, as well as some prepared salads and other accoutrements. I ordered the grilled salmon - with a side of green beans. My uncle had a half rack of ribs with sweet potato fries. I asked them to "blacken" the salmon - as their were other blackened items on the menu. Blackened - where I come from - means applying a blackening spice to the food, then searing it to blacken the spice. That is not what I got.There was no blackening spice applied to the salmon. I have no idea what they did to the salmon. It was just okay. Salad bar and green beans were tasty! My uncle very much enjoyed his ribs and sweet potato fries. Excellent service!!!! Super quick on ordering and food coming out. Everything was perfect for my party of 8. Salad bar was a big hit too.

Manager did not honor the advertised price on the salad bar or the price that the waitress had given us when we entered the restaurant. Did not give us a reason for the change or did he apologize for the difference between what we were charged and what the price was on the poster at the door or on my phone. He was very arrogant. We were a group of eight and will not be returning nor will any of the family and friends that we have informed of this. Poor management! read more

Hesitated stopping here on a recent Sunday visit to Cadillac. Very few cars in the lot, was expecting quick and quiet meal. After standing at the front door for a few minutes, the hostess asked us to wait a minute to clean off a table. There were very few patrons in the restaurant, not sure why another table wasn't ready and available. After she walked away, she returned a few minutes later and said it would be 10-15 minutes before a table would be ready. A quick scan of the entire restaurant showed 5 tables in use, far far below any covid restrictions. When I asked why we couldn't sit at one of the other available tables she said that wasn't possible. I politely said I was not waiting and she said 'OK'. Several of their restaurants have closed, its certainly not an easy business. Unfortunately one more example of the wrong person at the front door. read more

We celebrated my Grandmas 80th Birthday at this Ruby Tuesday since she lives in Cadillac and we were all staying at the Evergreen Resort which is not too far from here. There were about 15 of us, of course we all wanted separate checks too. Our waiter, Chris was excellent. He took down everyone's name, who was on what check, what we were ordering and everything came out perfect. Not one mistake at our table! I have not been to a Ruby Tuesday's in many years and this did not disappoint. Everyone had great food, salad bar was fresh, the barbecue grilled chicken I ordered was fabulous. I used to like Ruby Tuesday when they actually had pretty decent pricing and good quality salad bar (even with less variety). Stopped by for dinner last night, looks like all the prices went up a pretty good amount with the "revamped" salad bar. Got 4 tiny underfried "Southern fried chicken tenders", these did not look like the chicken tenders that I had before at the same place. Salad bar looked like it had pretty good variety, but everything was just passable, didn't have the apple waldorf or broccoli salad anymore, and the condiments just looked pretty sad. The cilantro lime dressing and grilled corn were good though. My kid decided to go with the popcorn shrimp dinner, looks like he got more shrimp than I had chicken (for half the price), good for him :) For the price that they charge, I would go somewhere else. read more

Lackluster service. Mediocre food. The best part of our lunch was that our food came out quick and we weren't forced to spend any more time here. Our server was unpleasant from start to finish and acted as though us being there was burdensome. Sure hope she was just having a bad day and this is not the norm, but regardless her conduct and treatment was unacceptable. The food certainly left plenty to be desired from a taste and quality standpoint while the portions themselves did the warrant the prices charged. You certainly do not get what you pay for here and would be best off seeking alternative dining options the area. We were driving back from Traverse City and wanted to sit down to eat. As we walked in, there we tons of signs promising scan codes of menus and there was a table just to recruit new workers. We were immediately seated with regular plastic menus and as we looked around, there was no one else dining in the restaurant. That should have been the first clue. My husband ordered a Shiner Bock, but the waitress said they didn't have it, it wasn't on tap and had no clue what it was, although it was listed right there on the menu. The plastic menus were ripped an old... how would she not know? He finally settled on one of the five beers she did know: Sam Adams Summer Ale. So, we ordered from an extremely pared down menu and she brought out my husband's beer. He took his first sip and it was flat and warm. There was barely any head on it and no moisture on the outside of the glass. After going over their blah menu, dealing with their snippy and unknowledgeable waitress, then receiving a warm beer that was flat, we just left. If they couldn't keep their beer at temperature, would they be able to cook their food to temperature to ensure safety? We didn't want to chance it. Won't be back. read more

We were in Cadillac on Thursday and wanted to have a nice sit down lunch. We did get to sit down. We sat for over 15 min. before the waitress decided to come to our table. There were not many people but some of them we watched her visit 3 times before coming to take our drink order. Order was not right and beware of ordering the mushrooms on your steak, they use it to hide the steak with more fat and gristle than meat. As we had been on the road several hours and were very hungry we ate what we could even though most of it was cold. We had to flag waitress down to get check so we could leave. The wooden booth was grimy & sticky. The carpet was filthy, the seat was dirty, which I asked them to wipe off, and the table had hair on it. over all not great. It's not bad as long as you don't care how your steak is cooked. I came twin months ago and my steak that I ordered rare came to the table medium well. I just kept quiet and ate it. My wife works with the wife of the district manager and she told her husband and he gave us a $20.00 coupon. We tried it today and my steak came to the table the same way. Medium well. I have only had bad experiences at Ruby Tuesday's in another city. Going out for my birthday, there weren't many places open so we decided to give Ruby Tuesday's a try again. I am so glad we did! I had the sirloin which was perfectly cooked and so good. They did forget the butter on my baked potato but the waitress was amazing and bought some out. My daughter and husband loved their burgers. My 3 year old liked her pizza and fries. The only problem was all of the kids meals don't come with sides, some do. Pizza and pasta don't so when my daughter ordered pizza and fries we were charged $4 for a children's side of fries. That was insane! $9 for children's pizza and fries is too high. read more
