I want an tonight with four of my other colleagues the restaurant was medium busy. The host was really nice and got us seated right away. Our server kimba was excellent she was training somebody and she had quite a few tables. This other lady also approached us and ask us how we were doing and if everything was going good. She talked us for a little while joked around and went back to helping everybody. Where we're from it was really nice to see a restaurant work as a team as they all did tonight. I have given this place more chances to get it right than I can believe. It's too cold in here. The salad bar is so poorly designed the the last of an item is frozen. It seems weird to scrape pasta salad like you would a windshield in January, and because the sneeze guard is so low, you will drag your sleeve through the dressing, so wear something nylon. The crab cakes are full of vegetables. The lettuce wraps are awful, compared to P.F. Changs, anyway. When you order steak and potato that's all you get on the plate; no garnish to add color and the potato rolls around. If you order fried food at a certain time of the month, everything tastes bitter because the oil is old and rancid. They change the oil based on the date not on the use, the manager said; orders from corporate, she said. And two dinners of this mess cost about $50. I blame myself for giving them another chance. Let me start by saying we visited Ruby Tuesday during Fair week. Needless to say the town was packed. We sat ourselves at the bar. Our bartender was friendly if not a little flighty. But I was most impressed with Michelle who I believe was either the manager or the assistant manager. She was obviously working with a less than full staff but this woman never stopped!! She even remade our burger herself when it was grossly undercooked!! I've have visited this location a few times over the past year and I believe today was my last. The food is okay; the service is horrible. 2 hours for a table of 6 is insane. The server came to the table 5 times. She removed one plate. We had to stack our plates on a near by table! My buddy never did get a refill. Those of us with water were the lucky ones because she was so lazy she just left the pitcher on the table. Buyer beware. I was staying at a hotel in town and looked at the menu on-line. Ordered a chicken dish priced at $12.99. When I picked it up, the charge was over $16 (without tax). The employee said something about 2 chicken breasts instead of one. The on-line menu said nothing about a choice of one or two chicken breasts. And they did not ask. Stopped to have dinner. While I am eating a young man starts a verbal altercation with one of the employee over a drug deal that went bad. The employee and this young man stand up in the bar area and start screaming obscenities at one another. This leads to a physical confrontation between the young man and one of the employees. The manager on duty, witnessed who witnessed the incident, didn't step in so all of the bar area patrons left the restaurant. After about 10 minutes of chaos, I told the young man that he needed to leave. He began threatening me with physical harm. He then spit on me. The manager who witnessed all of this behavior still did not step in. I had to call 911 to get help. When the police arrived the management did not identify the young man who was obviously a friend of the staff. This may have been the one of the most dangerous experiences that I ever witnessed in a restaurant. Ruby Tuesday and the management of this restaurant should be investigated over this incident and held accountable for their lack of action in providing a safe environment for there patrons. They should also implement a drug screening for all employees as this episode was certainly drug related. I have to say, as a fan of pork ribs in many forms, I can stand ribs that are cooked in a variety of styles. Whether it be sauced or dry, fall off the bone, or a more bone-adhering style, I do love ribs, and am forgiving of the many variations on the styles with which they may be prepared. I can say, though, without reservation, that the ribs that I had this past Sunday, Fathers Day, at the Lewisburg, WV Ruby Tuesday were the worst I've ever had. The description of ribs that are "slow-cooked for hours until they fall off the bone" is laughable, as the ribs I had not only were tough, and clung to the bones, but were so dry that they more resembled a form of pork jerky than lusciously juicy baby back ribs. The sauce also was caked on, undoubtedly from a combination of over-cooking and sitting under heat lamps or in the oven. The ribs had been basically rendered of all of their fat, and dried to the point of weightlessness. I could pick the entire half-rack up and tap it on the plate, with no budge. I admit, I should have said something while at the restaurant, but did not for two reasons. First, what could be done? If this is how they do ribs, I'm not sure if a replacement would suffice. Perhaps I could have had a different dish, but that would have just taken up time, and put an even greater damper on the evening. Secondly, I was visiting my parents from out of town and having a Father's Day dinner with them and my girlfriend, and did not want to damper the spirit of the evening. The server was barely present at any rate, so who knows how long a replacement dish would take. I do want to say that I recall having delicious, juicy, fall of the bone baby backs at Ruby Tuesday at this location in the past, so I'm not sure what happened. Having lost my confidence in this restaurant, I can safely say I will not be visiting any locations ever again. Oh and your "biscuits," if one is even lucky enough to get them before one has finished half of one's entree, are terrible. read more

Was driving through and wanted a quick place to stop for a salad. Knowing they had a salad bar, and being right off the freeway, I thought this would be a fantastic option. Walked in, waited for 5 minutes before someone told me I needed to go to the bar to place my to go order. Went there, waited several minutes before I was acknowledged. We arrived at 6pm on 7/15/18. The restaurant was half empty but there were several groups of people waiting because most (over 20)of the empty tables were dirty. We finally got seated and ordered our drinks. The menu is completely changed...AGAIN...for the worse. The wild berry lemonade did not have any berries like in the picture and like we are used to. We sat there for 20 min before one side salad came out and we had to ask before getting another side salad that we ordered. I ordered a half rack of ribs and it came with fries and cole slaw. The cole slaw was spoiled. When I told the server this he said "it is lemon pepper cole slaw" I told him "I know what lemon and pepper taste like and that tastes like rotten cabbage". We also ordered pimento cheese dip and it also did not come close to the previous version of tortilla chips and cheese. They seemed to be adequately staffed but no one was moving with any sence of urgency. When the food came out the server looked at my Dad who had an empty area in front of him and asked "are we still waiting on yours"? To which he should have replied "Nope I already ate it, plate and all; here's your sign". Our server was also apologizing to us and pretty much everyone else he came into contact with for various infractions. I heard another couple state on their way out "We will not be back". Around 8pm (yes 2 hours later) In our car, on our way out of the parking lot we observed around 8 people including what I think was the manager in a white shirt outside on a smoke break. Just a few moments earlier upon exiting the restaurant there were still numerous tables that need cleared off. So why are they all on a break? We also will not be back. 3rd time during this years (2012) short ski season although Snowshoe Mtn. better than many ski resorts, not so for this Ruby Tuesday. Done. We have always had mediocre food and service and yep it's what it is, chain restaurant not in large city but busy with ski season traffic and golf (1 exit from the Greenbrier Resort) and convenient to hotels and just off hwy, BUT no more even if they deliver. On 4/17/12 husband and I met there coming from 2 different locations 2hr plus drive each, hubby had great idea to stop there and order 2 burgers to go as I beat him by 30 minutes. I went to bar and ordered well done burger and a chicken sandwich, didn't get them until over 30 minutes later after asking bar tender approx time after ticket was in for 10 min (she confirmed) told me total cook time because the burger was WELL done was 20 min. Keep in mind the place was not busy, I got there just before 7pm. My husband arrived and took dog for walk while I was still waiting, bar tender came up a few times to say almost ready, getting there and I appreciated that very much. So finally see her with the to go boxes but delay because can't find bags, by that point gotta go just give me the boxes. Get out to car, I"m starving and open both to find my chicken sandwich, well heck fries are cold cold cold and chicken cold and not from the guac topping either, meanwhile John gets in car and opens his up to at least get one bight before we hit the road and yep cold cold cold then not only that turn on interior light and the freakin so called beef hamburger is big time pink. Waited all that long for that and we had to leave, wish I had gone back in to show them but at the same time it was after 8 and we still had 1 1/2 drive to go so left. Horrible customer service and management. My family was visiting for my nieces High School graduation on 5/29/2015. We stopped in for a late dinner and because it was 10:15pm we were told there were no seats available for for a party of five. We were told that the wait would be over an hour and they closed at 11:00pm. As we turned to leave I noticed several tables that were empty and would have accommodated us. I went back inside and asked to see the Manager on duty. He tried to to cover for the host and said there were reservations for those tables, however there was only a party of two to be seated. When I called him out for being full of crap, he was going to get the Regional Manager that happened to be at that location and try and accommodate us at that point. By this time I would not have eaten at this location even if we were fully compensated for the meal. read more
