    Shrimp Fondue
    Billie E.

Been on a motorcycle for 6 hours...hungry, tired, Ruby Tuesday's right next to the gas station. I ordered Shrimp Fondue and Tatortachos. My companion ordered Chicken Tenders. Let me start by saying the coffee is delish and I'm a coffee snob, but then....I'm super windblown and weary. The waitress was quick to the table and the dishes were in front of us within 10 minutes. The Shrimp Fondue was chocked full of baby cocktail shrimp and the "fondue" was really just a watered down cheese sauce, but pretty good. The appetizer was served with a mound of thin, lightly salted blue and yellow corn chips. Quite tasty! The Tatortachos were drowning in cheddar, spring onions, tiny diced tomatoes topped with a fat dollop of sour cream. Carb heaven, but I ate them dismissing that whole keto thing. My boo, he ate all the nuggets, said they were good, but nothing outstanding, but what chicken nuggets ever are? His came with a good looking side salad with REAL cheddar shreads! The waitress was not obnoxiously hovering but checked on us appropriately, refilling our water and coffee. I checked out the salad bar, just for kicks...plenty of options in a clean, drip-free display. On the cleanliness scale, I give it 5 stars...the floors, the bar area, the salad bar and the restroom, all picked up and sparkling. Not a lot of choices in this sleepy little town of Lewisburg, WV, but if there's a choice to be made, Ruby Tuesday's is a good one.

We ordered Mr Beast Burger food today. The order was not correct at all. But it was myself and my 16 yr old and we can adapt. The quality of food was a zero. I did not even eat my bun...which had simply been taken out of the bag. I don't even do that at home. Fries were soggy and not the crinkle fries as pictured. Very little seasoning. Crinkle fry people will understand. Cheese was not melted...which was a plus for my son because he ordered his without cheese. Mine was supposed to be a pattymelt...it wasn't. I watched the kitchen hand our food over the window so there was no excuse for the soggy fries. I would rate this a zero but you can't post until giving a star.

My friend and I decide to come to Lewisburg because I heard it was a cool place to have lunch. The lunch decision was between a Mexican restaurant across the street or at Food and Friends, and ultimately Food and Friends won out and we stepped into this restaurant, hoping to have a nice lunch together. It was just after 1 PM when we came into the restaurant and we sat almost immediately because there was a table available at. The entire experience took about an hour or so and it was enjoyable for sure. The restaurant itself was cute and unique. The menu was cute and the prices were decent. My friend decided to pick up the tab for both of us because I was visiting and that was nice. I started the meal with the French onion soup, which was a first for me. It was a good delicious appetizer for me that was awesome. It warmed the soul and my stomach. For the main course, I had this steak and shrimp salad dish, which was good and refreshing. It was nice because it wasn't too much carbs and it was nice to have steak for lunch at least once in my trip to West Virginia. The ambiance was nice and quiet. It was definitely a nice lunch spot on a quiet Wednesday November afternoon in Lewisburg. Food and Friends is a nice restaurant in the heart of Lewisburg. Check them out if you're in the area! I would wholeheartedly recommend coming here. They have a ton of great options to choose from and the service is great and friendly. I enjoyed myself with my friend for lunch. Hopefully you will too with your party. The overall experience here at Food and Friends - Lewisburg was very nice and pleasant. It was also a great choice to have lunch. The staff here was very accommodating and friendly. It was a typical experience that made me happy that it was a good choice. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy. It felt like a small converted house, with the main floor for customers. I felt that the French onion soup was the featured dish for me and the salad was the accompaniment to a wonderful day so far. Both dishes were freshly made and served with love. It was very refreshing and satisfying. Never needed dressing too, since the steak was prepared with enough spice and all of the things. Even the shrimps were sautéed and cooked to perfection. Just wanted something light and simple without having it to be heavy on the stomach and this steak and shrimp salad that Food & Friends made was amazing and out of this world. As far as the seating arrangements, we got to sit near the entrance, which was good. There was not much air conditioning since it was fairly cool conditions at the time for mid November. Comfortable chairs and furniture make it a little homespun while you dine here. It was a nice place to dine here and definitely a nice place to be. If you are a fan of local comfort food without the price bloat, consider coming here to Food & Friends restaurant in Lewisburg. It may be off the beaten path, but once you get here, you'll be glad you did. Trust yourself and treat yourself. You'll be well rewarded! If you're lucky to be here, you might find yourself dining in a hidden gem restaurant. Definitely recommend Food & Friends. Food & Friends restaurant is a cute boutique restaurant in the heart of Lewisburg, West Virginia. It's physically located at 878 Washington Street here in Lewisburg. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far parking goes, your best bet would be to find street parking wherever you can find it and walk on over to the restaurant. The town of Lewisburg is small enough to where parking can be found anywhere that's legal to park. Ideally, having a car of your own or renting one in a larger city is helpful to get to Lewisburg. I'm not sure if the town of Lewisburg has a public transportation system for anyone and everyone to use to get around. Then there is the topic of Uber or Lyft to get you here, but the drive is long anywhere from Lewisburg, in general. With that said, your best bet would be to get here with a friend or try to get a rental on your own. It'll be quite the expense to try to Uber here from Princeton, Bluefield, or Beckley. Or even from Charleston too. The food here is good and the company was great. I enjoyed myself here for lunch on a November 2025 outing here to Lewisburg. Hope you can make it out here. The town is nice and small enough to walk around for an afternoon. Food & Friends was my favorite place to have lunch in. Hopefully it will be yours as well. They'll love to have you, I'm sure of it. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

We showed early for our reservation and immediately seated. Menu has changed in last few months so they appear to be constantly improving. Appetizer and salad showed at the same time which I might not have preferred but as we shared 1 app with 2 people and had 2 salads worked. All the serving were tasty. I preferred my salmon and risotto while partner preferred his beef and grits, Caesar salad won over Brussels spout salad. Bottle of Malbec was appropriate to price as was after dinner port. Goat cheese ice cream was divine. Will return for our next visit in August because I love the vibe.
