We visited this restaurant after my niece's graduation. This store was located on a busy street and it appears every restaurant parking lot was packed. My graduates decided they wanted Chili's. That worked for us because we all like their food. Our party consisted of 9 people. We waited a reasonable amount of time before we were seated. The place was lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our server had an upbeat demeanor despite the restaurant being super busy. That was a plus. She took our drink and appetizer orders and gave us some options when we wanted to make changes. We also ordered our main entree. Let me tell you the kitchen staff was quick. Have not been to a Chili's in over 10 years but felt the new-er one in town was worth a visit. Much better than I remembered! The place was well designed with an open layout and a huge bar---plenty of TVs to watch the. Various sporting events. Very clean and great service overall. Their guac and chips were great---obviously not poured out of some large can and so two thumbs up there! Tried their chicken fajitas and honestly--more chicken than any other place that does fajitas! The chicken, peppers, and onion came served on a sizzling plate accompanied by a healthy serving of black beans and rice. Almost too much food....but I powered through it because it was that good. Chili's has always been my favorite chain restaurant, and I was excited to see this new location come to Middletown. Some others in the area I live in (PA) have fizzled out over the years, so I really hope this one does good and stays for a long time. My husband and I went for lunch a few weekends ago, and I had no complaints about my meal at all. I ordered the 3 meat platter (half a rack of ribs with bbq sauce, chicken tenders with honey chipotle sauce, and the cheddar jalapeno sausage) which came with the Mexican corn on the cob, French fries, and garlic bread. It was all so good - I'm not really a chicken finger person but oh boy, those were possibly the best I've ever had - super crispy and the sauce was soo good! And no, I didn't eat it all in one sitting - I got 3 meals out of it, so it really was a great deal for me! My husband was not impressed with his fajitas, so it might be tough getting him to go back, but hey, if I have to, I will just go by myself cause I gotta get that platter again - soon! read more

Every time I go to Chili's, it's usually during the rush-hour time, and the food is always good. Chillies is one of my top favorite places to eat!! In the past few days I have been to Chil's in Middletown, and each time the food was reasonable and service was good the first time, and excellent the second. On the last visit, the waiter, Gem, was extremely attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed. I mentioned that the prior time we didn't get enough fries. When Gem came back with the burgers and fries, the serving of fries more than compensated for the previous tine. If you visit on Thursday thru Sunday after 3, ask for Gem. We go to this Chili's a couple times a week. Service is excellent. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The manager is also very personable and treats you like family. The Ambiance is cozy and warm. We love this place!! The prices are also inexpensive compared to the other places near by. read more

It is day five of this location being open. We were sat relatively quickly (25 minute wait) and our waiter (Jem) was really charismatic/attentive. We had the unique experience of sitting near the to go/kitchen area. The staff in this area were really positive (sometimes when you're seated near a kitchen you hear the less favorable stuff). We revived our drinks and appetizer very quickly! Overall, great experience. read more

Went to happy hour around 4:30pm sat 6/23 there was only one couple sitting at the bar.i sat at the bar and waited. Finaly the person tending bar ask what i wanted. A week ago we ate at Chilis. We were seated right away and our drink and appetizer order was taken quickly. The appetizer was brought to us quickly, so was my soft drink, but my husband's wine came about the time our dinner was delivered. All of the food was ok, but nothing great. My husband and I tried out the new Chili's, located in Middletown Delaware, this evening. Great fun! Food Delicious! Please try the Fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp - delicious. My husband had the steak. Also good. And I have to say the customer service is fantastic!!! Actually refreshing. Our waitress, Briana was absolutely wonderful. Smiling and attentive. Also the Manager was very friendly. Even took the time to discuss the type of beers and IPA they carry with my husband. They have a great selection.
