The food and service has been great on both visits, however my last visit has made me lose my appetite for their salad bar. I understand dogs are allowed in the restaurant under certain conditions, but they must be at the table and not near food prep or serving areas, however a woman was permitted to repeatedly bring her dog through the salad bar line, and we are not talking Chihuahua, it was a very large dog. I love dogs and understand the companionship value, but this is an appetite killer for sure. read more

Ordered the half-rack baby back ribs via DoorDash. They were the worst ribs I've ever been served. They were tough, dry, and had to be chewed off the bone. It appears that this restaurant sells food to delivery customers that they can't sell in the restaurant. Buyer beware! This is not the restaurant you want to visit for baby back ribs. Normally I like RT since all the location in TPA closed we made a special trip to this location and were sadly disappointed. We arrived at 6pm and when we asked for two items we were told we are out and will not be making any more for the night. You are open till 10pm we are there at prime dining time and you are out?!? What gives? Garden Bar was not fully stocked :( said it wasn't going to be replenished. We won't be coming back to this location and not sure I we even will give RT another try. Took my Dad out to dinner tonight to Ruby Tuesday's. We have not been there in quite a while and I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. Happy to report that our experience was perfect tonight! We were seated immediately and our waiter could not have been more attentive. He was very friendly and professional. We both ordered seafood selections and they were cooked perfectly. I had the New Orleans seafood with dirty rice and grilled zucchini. The dirty rice was delicious! I also had the garden bar and everything was clean, fresh, and the salad I put together was very enjoyable. I noticed that the restaurant no longer served the little biscuits, but to tell the truth, we didn't really miss them. I imagine the kitchen might run a whole lot more efficiently now that the cooks don't have to keep pumping out biscuits all night. Went to dinner with my family and friends this evening here and it was pretty good for a chain! Our waitress was awesome she can have five stars any day of the week from me she was great and the service was fantastic! The manager came around to check how everything was which I love when owners/managers are involved and working it shows they Really do care! I had the chicken tortilla soup- wasn't a huge fan but it was ok ! I also ordered the Carolina chicken salad and I was happy they let me substitute for just spinach and not lettuce so that made the experience even better for me! The salad was huge and so good! There was tons of toppings and lots of chicken! Everyone had something Different and everyone seemed to clear their plate so with that I assume it was tasty! My dad mentioned quite a few times that his steak was awesome and even better then the one he had the other week from a steak house so I know he enjoyed his meal tonight! I was also a fan of the fact that they had "new" to their menu angry orchard cider :) yum! We went to the Ruby Tuesday tonight. We had the special which is two meals for $24.95 Which includes the salad bar and and dessert to share. Dylan was our waiter and he was top-notch. I definitely enjoyed the mango iced tea, with little chopped up mangoes floating on the bottom. Nice touch! I had the ribs and my husband had the tilapia. They were both delicious. My husband would've liked a little bigger piece on the tilapia. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. The manager came around to all the tables twice while we were there to make sure we were satisfied. The reason why we enjoyed this Ruby Tuesday is because the salad bar is excellent. (Rare thing nowadays) We asked what they recommended and well they just made us want to order everything. They brought us these small muffins and OMG they were sooooo good! My daughter and I was going to share our platters to experience two different meals, however it was so good we only would offer up a bite. It was spot on moist, flavorful and fulling. Haven't eaten at Ruby Tuesday in quite awhile, so thought we'd try it today. Stopped in at 4:30 and had to wait 10 minutes in the lobby while the hostess was training a new person. There were all kinds of empty tables in the dining room, but the hostess placed us in the bar area. Mushy spaghetti squash , marinara sauce tasted like the store bought kind , zucchini was inconsistently cooked . Another dish came with all mushy zucchini. It's disappointing because the dish had such potential. Regardless, it did taste decent and both the waitress and manager went above and beyond to make sure that my entree was vegan. Family went here for dinner. Was very clean, well lit, and very friendly staff. Our waitress Jennifer was so cute and friendly. Our drinks were cold, didn't get appetizers this time. I even ordered a Margarita for myself that was the best I've had in a while. Dad ordered the Asiago steak with green beans and his usual fries. Our son had the Grilled cheese with grapes. We were 4 who dined here last night. The service was a 4.0. Given the number of customers, it was reasonable. I am never that fond of sitting too close to the washrooms so I would have preferred a better choice of table since there were others available. The buffet at RT is always very good and it did not disappoint yesterday. I and my wife had Bourbon Burger and we really enjoyed them. They were prepared exactly as ordered except mine came without a bun. Since neither I nor my wife rarely but half of the bun we told the server to forget it - we would share my wife's. In fact I did not even eat that. The fries were a disappointment and brought down my rating. Way too salty. My friend's wife felt the same way about her fries. Our dinner companions were satisfied with their meals. I had serious doubts about the Caesar Chicken Salad one had ordered - way too much dressing on it for me. Mental note to self for next time - salad dressing on the side if ordering that option AND if ordering fries ask that these not be salted in the kitchen ( I am sure my ankles swelled up later in the evening). When Danielle brought extra napkins, DISASTER SET IN! SHE DROPPED THE NAPKINS IN FRONT OF US AND THEN PICKED THEM UP AND SAT THEM ON THE TABLE FOR US TO USE! Been a minute since we last been here so we decided to swing by and sit at the bar for a few drinks on Wednesday evening. Gotta say Ruby's has certainly stepped up their game. Service was fast and efficient. Fellas behind the bar were very prompt and interactive with us and all the guests sitting at the bar. One thing that really got my attention was that all the employees were smiling and really seemed to enjoy their job there. Props to the management. Which by the way I noticed her table touching every table to make sure all her guests were happy. I have my own restaurant in Tampa so something like that is very important to me.
