Today, was my first time at this restaurant I arrived at 3:10pm and I won't be returning. First, I had this server that sat my son and I at the table was our server Jason P he asked were ready to order I ask for a couple minutes I ask for water than it a while before he came back it was not until I looked over the booth for him to come over and take our order I got the salad bar and my son got a kids dinner. The server then came back to get the order and put it in at 3:27pm I went to the bar to get a salad and went back to sit didn't get much due to the limited items on the bar not much to choose from and they where out of a few things as well I made due with what they had. My son got his food a little after I was almost done with my salad keep in mind no one is in this restaurant at the time we didn't get refills on our drinks the service was just bad all together. When it came time for the check the server came back and try to charge me $12.49 for salad bar when the price was $7.99 for 4pm I won't sure why he charged me that so I asked him and he made a face and smacked him mouth as if he was annoyed with me asking since I was there before 4pm so than he came back with my manger had to take it off he said only this time since you didn't make the cut off time, so I than asked him what was the cut off time and it was 4pm, already knew what it was because I checked before I went into the place and placed my order before 4pm. I then started to pay for the check as the server was standing over my shoulder watching me and I put no tip he then got upset and said "oh really ok well" then walked away. Came here late night with some friends, our server Ashley was awesome. She's was very attentive to us and had drinks coming the entire time we were there. Came in with my SO tonight looking for great food, We got just that. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as our appetizer and the salmon as our entree. Nothing but good things to say about the food and our server, nice young man he was in training and i never got his name but i can tell he will be great as a server. read more

The restaurant was really clean. I like the atmosphere and felt like the decor was really modern. The waiter was really nice, personable and very attentive. My mom and I had the petite serloin which was very tender. The salad bar has a lot of options (although I wish they has Caesar salad dressing). The mashed potatoes were good, but plain. I prefer the garlic mashed potatoes that other places offer because they are flavorful. The food came out fast and was cooked well. I love that they have a lot of drink options. read more

First they stopped serving rolls. Savanna S said it was too much on the cook. I had trouble ordering due to the price. I ordered the chicken fingers and 1/2 rack ribs. When it finally came it was so small and overcooked I almost cried. I work HARD for my money and 19. for this plate was horrible. SEE PIC. After getting a replacement for the potato that came with sour cream on it ( I ordered only butter) I received a potato not cooked all the way. Took home to recook today. Ribs had maybe 3 slivers of meat on top. Better review there supplier. No I did not complain about the chicken. By this time I was starved and it 2 seconds to devour. We were greeted as soon as we came in by a dark eyed girl with real short curly hair. So nice. I think I seen a manager when we first arrived talking to a group of elderly people in the front. Well, it took 2 attempts, but Ruby Tuesday delivered on my rare (semi-raw) steak. The manager was very nice and promised a steak I could eat. He was not real happy that the first cook didn't get it right, but it was just not real rare and it was a little tough. The manager took it back and a few minutes later brought out a steak that was perfect. Not only was it really rare, but it was tender (undercooked meat usually is), and had a delicious flavor. They even let me have the first one, so the outside cats got a treat as well. The people who were working that night were all very nice. We'll definitely go back. Just so you know, there is no FDA internal temperature protocol on steak, only ground beef, so if a server or manager says there is, then it's set by the establishment and, not the government. Great find! We wanted to relax and bring food home also. Jalesa W. made us great martinis and answered all our questions. We wanted low cal and low sodium and she helped us out. We had an app and brought home fajitas and veggie sides. She showed us our takeout order to make sure it was right. Never had anyone do that before. The wine list also great. First off - in the past I've had good dining experiences here. Today my wife and I came to Ruby Tuesdays and we were seated pomptly. After waiting 10 or 15 minutes and never seeing a waitress, we moved to the bar. We wanted a salad and a sandwich. The bar maid was making a pile of gift certificates and never came to take an order. The manager and other staff were milling about and saw us and never assisted. After what must have been 30 minutes in the place we left mad with no one ever asking us what we would like to drink or eat. Will never go back!!!! Wow this place has really fallen to ruin. Sat for a minute and then left. For one, the place just stinks. It smells dirty and old and really doesn't make you want to eat anything. I think they must be under new management. The staff didn't have on any uniforms. My husband food was burned. I got the crab cake dinner in which it was bland fries were burned. Normally crab cakes are served with a sauce. They stated they didn't have a sauce. It was just not a good meal at all. Has to be The worst. Don't waste your time or money. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get subpar food and horrible service. Never refilled our drinks at all, and our waiter was MIA. Wow, what a mess!! last night I ordered food from this restaurant. First off we made a phone order, and when I went there to pick it up it was not even put in the system. Then I had to wait, I sat across from the kitchen, big mistake. The cooks and servers were not wearing gloves, food was thrown on the plates, no sanitary process was being taken. I ordered two slices of cheesecake to go, the guy puts it on a serving plate, the bartender tells him it is to go, he scrapes it off the plate with his hands and puts it in the "to go" box, and then pushes the container with the strawberry sauce right into the cake itself. CURRENLY sitting here. This establishment is a one hit every now again wonder. You have to catch the right people cooking at the right time on the right night. Asked for well-done zucchini and zucchini is burnt and tasteless . Asked for extra butter, extra sour cream and the potato is dry. The tilapia is a nice size, but dry. They added sauce only in the middle. The shrimp are even overcooked. So very often we come here (close to home) and the food is not up to our expectations. This will be the last. Been sitting with dry food in front of me for the last 20 minutes. The manager comes out and does take the plate after the long wait. Trey, the waiter, is excellent! He has a great attitude and great customer service. Ready to leave NOW!! Manager just brought me fresh food. It is really good and cooked exactly the way I want it. We waited ten minutes for them to bring them and when we went to make our plates there was so many things missing up there. This place sucks. It's dirty, smells like grease, the tables are sticky, it's loud and service is slow as hell. Rude, disinterested service, which is probably a good thing, because you'll just leave faster. The menu is boring and behind the times as well, dated. It's not horrible but definitely not good. I eat here because it's one of the only options close to my house. It's kind of like a fast food restaurant as far as expectations. The restaurant used to be a very nice & comfortable place to eat but now the look of the place has gone downhill drastically. The place is filthy with food all over the floor and the waiter/waitress will actually seat you there to order and eat your meal as if there was nothing wrong. We informed the waitress that we did not want to sit there to eat and asked to be seated elsewhere in the restaurant where the table and chairs were clean. (Note: There were only a couple of tables that were clean.) Instead of seating us elsewhere an employee came out and semi cleaned the area before we were led to the exact same table. There were filth all around...beneath our table and on the nearby tables and floors...meanwhile the employees were laughing and talking to each other as if there were nothing for them to do but socialize. Needless to say, we left the restaurant. We will not go back there until they improve. Frankly it doesn't make sense for a restaurant to be filthy. It is not sanitary. Me and my husband drove to Bravos in Va. Beach to get a decent meal in a decent environment and we didn't mind leaving a big time tip either because the service was astronomical in friendliness, cleanliness, quality of food and service. Bravos gets an "A+" but Ruby Tuesday gets a big fat "0!" Sorry to say, this place used to be the best place in town to eat but not anymore. The food is ok but the poor and filthy look of the restaurant takes away from the overall feel of the restaurant. It makes a person wonder if the food is safe to eat. Yuck! Hopefully Ruby Tuesday will hire a staff that will take pride in their work...after all they are getting paid to work. Management needs to reinforce cleanliness as well as friendliness and teach their employees how to clean properly. read more

So much negativity in other reviews, but I've not had any problems here. I like the salad bar as a side. I stay at the hotel next door several times a year and eat here regularly; usually several times each visit. It's reasonably quick and I can get fresh veggies. read more

Like many of the other one star reviews; it is close to our house so wife and I go up there occasionally last night was our last time! Service was pretty good as we we came in the door we were greeted by a cute girl and taken to our seats. Loved her wearing her pajama pants. The other greeter also had on some great "Tip" pants, if you know what I mean. Waiter was quick and courteous got our drinks (no refills were offered). Steaks were over cooked, toughest ribeye ever full of grisly chunks took it home and fed to dogs. Fried zucchini must have been cooked with the salmon they served. First time I have ever had zucchini that tasted like fish. Funny watching wife make faces after she tasted it. The baked potato was decent but how can you ruin a potato other then under cooking it. I don't frequent this place, maybe 6-8 times a year, but after today may not return. So disappointing, as there are not many places to choose from in this part of Suffolk. Greeted and seated quickly. Waiter took our drink order quickly but got it wrong upon delivery. Ordered the two for $24.95. He took our entree orders, after apologizing for drink order. Went to garden bar. Needed to be replenished, but it was Sunday, and they were busy. Typically entrees arrive before I finish my salad, however this time, I finished. After 15 minutes waiter got us drink refills. 15 minutes after that he says he is checking on our food, to which I said jus bring me a check. At this point we had watched three other parties seated and orders received. He goes to the man working the window, and instead of coming straight back to our table, walks off in another direction. We then get up and go to the hostess. I asked for a check for two salads and two drinks as we had been waiting close to 45 min. for food. She apologises and says she will go and check. Goes and looks at screen. Must have said something to the guy a the window, because I heard her say "they are leaving". Returns to tell us our order had never been placed, therefore no charge. I offered again to pay for what we consumed, but she apologized again. My rating is more for the waiter. He passed by our table several times, and should have checked sooner. At the very least he should have come straight back to our table to tell us what was up. Sorry to see this place in decline as most other choices are fast food chains. read more

Had a birthday lunch with my daughter at Ruby Tuesday in Winchester,Va. we ordered water with lemon and immediately ordered the trio sampler. Waitress never brought the water, had to ask after 10 minutes to please bring our water, please. After 20 minutes, asked the waitress, where our appetizer was. She went back to ask, she came back and said it wasn't ready, another couple of minutes. So a total of 25 minutes for fried appetizers. The manager came out with our order apologizing and telling us that it was unacceptable to have to wait that long and that our appetizer would be at no charge. That was very nice and was ok with that result. Then the waitress brought out chicken sandwiches with FF and there was so much salt on both the fries and sandwich, the French fries were drenched in salt, it was like eating plain salt. I told the waitress to take it back. Manager came back and apologized again offered to make the sandwich herself. Again, manager was trying to right the situation, but as far as going back, I will travel to another Ruby Tuesday, as the service and food was sub par. Manager was pleasant enough, but waitress needs some more training. It's a shame, been eating there since 2011, but will not return. Sad read more

Took my family there for a nice dinner before my parent headed back home after visiting. The experience wasn't good enough to bring my family back. Several items on the salad bar were out and not replaced because they had nothing to left in stock, Service was slow and it wasn't because they were busy because several tables were open, steak wasn't cooked properly and when they offered to cook me another one I agreed and it was brought out right before we were ready to leave and no apology or anything the server dropped it off and stated "here is your steak and walked away", Drinks that were ordered weren't made properly and had to be made again and finally our food took almost an hour to be complete and much of it was cold. These are just a few of the things that went wrong with my trip to this restaurant. Needless to say I might not be back because of the lack of supervision the management has over the staff and the product they are putting out. Now I have not eaten here in a few years but however I recently applied for a job here as a bartender..The Manager called me the day I applied and scheduled an interview with me for 3pm on a Monday..I showed up for my interview at 2:40 pm and sat and waited for about twenty minutes when another manager came to the table apologizing for the manager that was due to interview me saying she had an emergency and had to leave but could he offer me a coke for the inconvenience...lol umm no but I would like my gas money is what I was thinking because I found it extremely rude that between all these managers nobody gave me a courtesy call to reschedule the interview. So I go back for my rescheduled interview which was also scheduled for 3pm again and I arrive at 2:45 only to wait for 45 minutes this time and a waitress comes to the table and says "Lena cant meet with you today shes having trouble with our credit card machines and is busy but she said you can come back any day next week between Monday and Wednesday"... I dont recommend anyone apply there because CLEARLY management dont know what they are doing and this is probably why the business sucks and I DO NOT intend to go for another interview at all. Whoever the corporate manager is should really consider hiring a new management staff ASAP!!! read more
