The given wait time was 18 minutes, it only took 12 minutes. My meal was very tasty and satisfying. The ambience of the Texas roadhouse is exactly what it says. It's a Texas style Resturant. The Take-Out service window is covered with a screen graphic, so you really can't see in unless you look between the screen edge and the uncovered window pane. I mentioned this because I gave them my credit card to pay for the food and it took them quite a while to bring my credit card back to the window so I was just wondering what was going on so I did peep between the edge of the screen and the window pane to see what was going on, and one young lady was holding the card and another young lady came in and looked at the card and I'm assuming that they had already put it in the machine, but it took so long I had to knock on the window to find out what was taking so long for them to return my card and that was a concern for me. read more

If you think Texas Roadhouse is just about steaks, don't sleep on the seafood! I ordered the salmon, and it was absolutely delicious as always. The seasoned rice is hands down one of my favorites, and the green beans never disappoint either. My husband ordered the country fried sirloin with brown gravy and sautéed onions... and yes, I definitely had to sneak a few bites off his plate. It was well-seasoned maybe a little too seasoned for my personal taste but he loved every bite. His sweet potato was also good as usual. And let's be honest, those rolls and honey butter!!! They deserve their own review. The service was fast and friendly. I've never experienced any issue with the service or the time it takes to receive our meals. The last two times we came here the service was not good nor was the food. I do like that they brought peanuts back, that is pretty neat. We came on my birthday and the meal was decent, service was a little off. The server was on her phone at the server station most of the evening and we had to repeatedly ask for her attention. The food was overall good and speed was not bad. We went around the beginning of the year on a Thursday.. the check in process was normal but once we got to the table things didn't go well. We ended up waiting over 35 minutes for bread and over 20 minutes for our server to come back to our table to take our orders. Our drinks were not filled. The bread we received was not fully cooked and complete dough in the middle. It was embarassing but we asked another server for pepper because once the food hit the table the server took another 10 minutes to come back. We had to get up and find a manager because my husband's filet was blue rare and he ordered it medium rare. It was placed under the warmer and brought back well done, no other checks after that. My filet was cooked right but still tough. The meal was over $150 for our table and the manager didn't come back when requested, I am not sure the server notified them so we ended up leaving. I could not find a feedback form on my receipt. This was the first time in probably 20 years I left a 10% tip instead of 30-40%. We ordered the Killer Ribs app (thanks to an email offer), a Smokehouse Burger, and a Fort Worth Ribeye. The ribs had great flavor, and the burger came stacked with toppings, but the kitchen was out of several menu staples, including prime rib and Caesar salad -- a disappointment for a weekend dinner when those items are usually highlights. Service also left much to be desired. Drinks went unfilled, no bread and butter were replenished (which is a Texas Roadhouse signature), and overall attention to the table felt lacking. What stood out most -- and not in a good way -- was the server's uniform. The shirt had a visible hole in the front, exposing a bright pink undergarment. At a family-oriented restaurant, this felt unprofessional and distracting. On the bright side, the dining room carried that familiar Texas Roadhouse energy -- neon signs, country music, and busy booths full of families. But when service and kitchen availability falter, the lively atmosphere isn't enough to carry the experience. The place was empty for a Saturday night , which is rare for this chain..... in Maryland , there's normally a 15 minute average wait on ANY given day, at ALLL locations in the DC Metropolitan area... That was indicator #1. #2, the rolls were not the fresh hot buttery ones I'm accustomed to in Maryland. These were ok. And my toddler normally eats one or two!!! Pros: my sangria was delicious! Our server was nice. Cons: Our food items came out warm/lukewarm..... we get this we came at 9:30 and the restaurant closed at 11. But warm catfish and shrimp?!! That's a no no. And the chili?!!! The rolls were warm and fresh, but they were pretty dense and not what I was expecting. I liked the honey butter they offered with the rolls. Appetizers: rattlesnake bites were like little cheese croquettes, and a little greasy. I wouldn't get these again. The Potato Skins were a large portion and pretty good! Full of cheese and bacon. Dinner: Ribs and Chicken Critters - the ribs were soft and had a lot of BBQ sauce, they were just okay. My favorite was actually the Chicken Critters/tenders! They were super fresh and the batter was light and crispy, the flavor was perfect. The mashed potatoes were god but the green beans were very salty. My friend said the corn was very salty too. I seem to come here quite often for dinner with a bud. We have come quite a few times now. I generally come during the week so I can't attest to how busy it'll be during the weekend. However, considering how busy the weekdays are, I can only imagine how crazy the weekend is. If there's one thing that this place does well, it's be consistent. We visit Texas Roadhouse weekly, and my wife always gets the Dallas Filet. The last time we were there she was served an overdone sirloin. We sent it back (something we have never had to do before). The manager brought another overdone sirloin. My wife said that it was not a filet, however the manager insisted it was. My wife and I both know the difference between the two. She immediately asked for boxes and we left. I emailed the restaurant after returning home. The response I received but the blame on "handcut" and what we "should have done." Not a bad visit. I found out the restaurant opens at 4 pm on the weekends and this particular location has people coming in like a heard of cattle at that time. We arrived around 5 pm and was put on a 20 - 30 min waiting list. Our wait time total was closer to 40 minutes. We were seated in a really nice window booth in the corner for two, away from the bathroom and kitchen. Highly recommend this spot if its available. Be aware, its in direct path of an air vent which made it friggin freezing there. I didn't complain cause I know it felt nice for the workers who were moving around all over the place. Oh, every seating arrangement except the bar area was sectioned-booth style with plenty of room between tables. This made me feel really good considering the current pandemic. read more

My wife goes inside to check on the order at 7 and told was it still being prepared and we would receive a text when it was ready, but I didnt sign up for for a text, which is why she went in at the 715 pick up time. She goes in at 720PM and 745 and told the same the order was not ready. At 8PM, she goes in says cancel due to it taking so long and the order is over 45min late. She is handed the food right at that moment. She come back to the car and checked the order and it was very cold. She goes in to ask for a refund and to take the food back when then manger says the food has been ready since 715 and it had been sitting there. The manger gives her a hard time about it but does give us a refund. The manager and staff were not on the safe page and created a poor situation due to their lack of communication. She also got the salmon and steak fries, while I picked out a NY Strip with good marbling (great feature - pick out your own steak at no extra cost.
