The owner was very friendly and helpful. Quite refreshing from the big box stores to navigate through. They even have some discount bins that are alot of fun to sift through. I found a beautiful collared shirt for my husband that not only looks fantastic but is a comfortable fabric and wrinkle free. The store is well stocked but not overwhelming. You will love it too!

I got a 3/2 fullsuit for like 50 bucks. I didn't even need another one at the time, but how you gonna say no to that? I also love buying booties here, if you come at a time when they have your size the deals are phenomenal, I usually pay $60+ for booties full price but they'll have them here for 15 bucks sometimes but they go fast. The staff here is also super helpful, if you're new to wetsuits and need help with wetsuit sizing or anywhere else they're always happy to help. The fitting rooms are large and spacious as well, which if you've ever tried on a wetsuit before you know that you want a lot of space to move around. Besides wetsuits and surf gear they have both men and women's apparel along with accessories such as watches, hats, bags, etc. The store is well maintained and well kept, and parking is easy right behind the store. The only downside is that their stock is always constantly changing, so you never really know if they'll have your size of what you want. I've found great deals on apparel and misc accessories, but other times I'll come by and there's no sales and the prices aren't too different from what you'd find at a regular non outlet store or they won't have my size in anything I want. If you're passing through the area, it's definitely worth it to stop by to see what they have. If they don't, come back another time because they'll probably have new inventory.

I demo'd a firewire board last weekend at salt creek, and the van left with my drivers license before I could return the board. I had no way to contact them or anything, but I remembered that the Ripcurl store sometimes has that van there but I don't think they they had anything to do with the current demo event I was partaking in... Anyway so I called around asking what to do, and finally reached Matt, who went above and beyond by taking my number down, getting in contact with the guy driving the Firewire Demo van, and having him drop off my Drivers License at the Ripcurl store, and said I could come in anytime to return the board and take my DL. He literally saved me a massive headache and 3 hours of driving down to the Firewire store in San Diego (far from my home) to get my DL back from them had Matt not been the middle man and handled the issue swiftly. He has always been super nice and helpful when I'm in the store (just like all the employees) but he really went above and beyond this time and I'm extremely grateful!

Since I was a kid, I'd heard of Dewey and his uncanny footwork on the deck of a flying foam board. Dewey Weber was like one of the signers of the Constitution for surfing. Historically vital. That being said, the "Little man on wheels" (in ref to Dewey) would be proud to see his children still carrying on under the Dewey Weber logo. Definitely tipped him which he didn't even want that. I made him take, I just really appreciate people that go out of their way like that to help somebody like me. So if you need anything, from a hitch to a Rack tent decked drawer system, bike rack, Spokbox "that's what I call those black storage boxes on top of vehicles. I would also like to point out that their lifetime warranty doesn't include damage done from defective product . They also won't advocate for you on behalf to the companies . This is the type of customer service I expect out of a major corporation , not a small store. So if you're looking for the type of customer service and support, you can expect from a small business , I would recommend looking elsewhere . Yakima on the other hand has been great to work with, they back up their product , and have great customer service. I recommend buying products directly from the manufacturer .
