They sold me broken sunglasses that right away I didn't notice and then when they got tangled with my hair I took them off my face to see a loose screw and the top part wasn't sealed to the lens. I rushed back to the shop before they closed (6pm) and when I got to the doors before 5:40pm the sign said they were still open, but the doors were shut and nobody answered the phone. Wouldn't recommend shopping here if they sell everyone broken sunglasses and aren't truthful about their hours of operation. read more

I bought my sunglasses the day before and when I got home I realized they were not polarized so I called the owner and I explained that I was looking for polarized sunglasses and unfortunately I picked the one that was non-polarized. He was very helpful. He asked me to come in and he made sure I would be very happy. Long story short, he not only made me very happy. My wife and I were in Laguna Beach enjoying sun and shopping. Walked into Sunglasses Gallery to see if they had some Oakleys I was looking for. Never been in there before, but was immediately amazed at the size of the store and the selection. If you can't find what you're looking for here, it doesn't exist. They have every sunglasses maker available. Needless to say I found the Oakleys I was looking for. My wife also found an awesome pair of Tiffany sunglasses. Glasses she didn't even know she was looking for until she saw them. The owner is awesome and worked with us in getting exactly what we needed. Great hands-on, by a local business owner. Something you don't get from an online seller. I've shopped at Amazon for years and bought tons of stuff. Not once have I heard a word of thanks from Jeff Bezos or an offer of assistance from him. Just look at the new yacht we all bought for him, a little thanks would be nice. We are happy to support local businesses, especially when you get great service and find exactly what you need. RUN! DO NOT SHOP HERE! We stopped into this store where I have shopped a few times before. I lost a nose pad to a pair of sunglasses. I asked if I could purchase one. Keep in mind, we are talking about ONE round small nose pad for a pair of sunglasses that I purchased from their store for about $250-$300 last year. They charged me OVER $20.00. That's right. Nearly $21.00 dollars for the image you see. The store clerk had asked me if I bought the glasses at the store at the time I said, " I think so - you should have a record of it possibly." She said they do not keep any history on purchases. After she read my card, I said, why did you even ask me that. She claimed, "because we would adjust for free if you did. " When I brought it up to the store owner's attention , he said, "Next time you come in I'll take $20 off." SO GROSS. They must really need the money. I've been looking for a good pair of raybands for a long time. I found a cute pair online and once in-store yet they were scratched up. I've been on the hunt for MONTHS for these brown rayband sunglasses because i'm scared to buy them online just incase they get damaged or I dont like them. Stopped by Laguna to grab some dinner and noticed Sunglasses Gallery while walking and saw they have a HUGEEE selection of glasses. I might as well give it a shot right?! Walked in and was greeted by Suki, super nice and helpful guy! And to my surprise, they had them!!! I tried them on and loved them and Suki explained that they're customs so that's probably why I couldn't find them. I told them since he's so nice, i'll buy multiple pairs off of him for me and my boyfriend. He gave us a good deal because they have a BOGO currently. SNEAKY AND DISTRUSTFUL..STOLE MY MONEY I went in here and got a pair of Burberry shades, they were priced at $230 and I asked if she would sell me the ones on display for $200. I got a yes from the young lady with glasses.. with taxes everything came to $216.. so I thought. I thought she was friendly and I didn't even want the store to waste a bag so I took the cute Burberry box alone, which she let me choose and I thought that was cool..so I thought. Checked my bank account and guess what? $239 charged from sunglass gallery in laguna!.. if I were truly bored I would go and probably have the every right to sue but ill just never go here again. The customer service at Sunglasses Gallery was beyond incredible. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and told abt the different specials they had. I didn't get the girls name but we made conversation and she picked my brain at what kind of glasses I wanted. All the employees were super attentive to my bf & I. When we told them what styles we did like they showed us tons of glasses off the wall and even suggested glasses that paired well with our face structure. Went in to look at glasses....and brought in 2 pairs for repair- one needed a screw replaced, the other needed a new nose guard. Wanted to charge me $20 for each fix. Turned me off...... I saw another review say they charged $15 for an adjustment... hmmmmm. read more

I left them to be taken care of with brand rep. and when I returned, the glasses, which the owner had previously noted as defective in writing, were now scratched. The scratches were not there before and he tried to sell me a replacement lens.
