I have been here many times. The food is always exceptional and consistent. The severs are always nice and go out of the way for you!

I am totally dismayed by the rude treatment I received. The server took our beverage order and never returned.

I was just at Rudy's a little while ago today and after telling the waitress that I knew our order,(a female) we sat there awhile and a guy came over and asked what we wanted. ( turned out he was the manager) I tried to order a second beer with the female waitress and she said she would let him know. While having that beer we asked the manager if the waitress had a problem. He said that none of the waitresses wanted to wait on us. I told him that the waitress that took our first order seemed to have the problem but that none of us were the ones that were the ones that upset her. I know for a fact that she was apologized to by the person that did. So for her and the others to hold anything against me or anyone I was with is wrong. read more

Happy hour is Monday-Friday 3:30-6. 1$ off draft beer, bottled beer, well drinks, and house wines. This is a pretty large restaurant and there is plenty of seating as long as it's not a weekend night or a game night! We were able to choose our own seats and received our drinks pretty quickly. We did wait a bit to get our orders taken, but not a huge amount of time! The nacho's were really good! The guacamole was nice and the salsa was great! For a half order, it was absolutely huge!!! The salad was pretty good! I did not enjoy the "pickled asparagus" at all. Just tasted like canned asparagus to me. I chose the sesame soy dressing to meet my dietary requirements and honestly did not enjoy that at all, but it was just personal preference! We will definitely be back! The waitress, Cambria, was extremely rude and inappropriate. We had just ordered a couple of drinks from the bartender (only about three minutes earlier) when she came over to our table and told us they were closing and that we needed to leave. I responded that we would finish our drinks and head out, but she refused and insisted we leave immediately. She mentioned she had worked a 12-hour shift and that this was a family-run business, then, shockingly, she took our drinks from us while they were still half full. She proceeded to argue with us for several minutes and even told us not to come back if we didn't like it. While holding our drinks, she spilled them on the ground, which honestly I think she was also drunk. What made the situation even more bizarre was that there were at least 20 other people still there, yet she seemed completely fixated on getting us to leave. It was a truly strange and uncomfortable experience. read more

It's a great sports bar and pub. Food was great, service was excellent and we really enjoyed the experience. The menu is pretty extensive and we enjoyed the food. The pozoli rojo was very tasty. Highly recommend. read more

Solid 4 star experience today...we have been looking for a local sports bar since moving to the area and after a few disappointments this one hit on exactly what we weee looking for. 1) Affordable drinks 2) Great selection of drink specials 3) Locally owned 4) lots of TV's for sports action which there is no bad seat in the house. 5) Good staple bar food 6) Friendly staff 7) Locals spot to hang out 8) Close to home 9) Happy Hour 10) A cool spot to hang out Well this place hit in all 10 for me today. It was busy when we went by at lunch time and while they seemed a little short staffed our waitress Erica was awesome. Even though she was super busy she was super attentive. We wanted to order some bar food basics and while a few weren't homemade they were cooked perfect and had great flavors. Drinks were perfectly made a just the right amount of strength. I have also been looking around for some decent wings and their crispy wings hit the spot. Cooked perfect, not over saucy and great flavors. The salad was soggy and the fish and chips and tater tots were overly greasy; food was over priced for the quality. The waitress only checked on us 3 times in over an hour. Great menu and very good food. My friend had fish and chips and I had Shrimp Louie salad. Her fish was crispy, not oily at all. The fries were very good, crispy on outside and tender in middle. Now let's talk about the Shrimp Louie - there are no Toney shrimp in this salad. A skewer of six plump grilled shrimp on top of a bed of chopped romaine and complimented by sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, sliced hard boiled egg, avocado and pickled asparagus. I had thousand island dressing on the side. This was a great salad and I ate every single bite. We so want this to be our hangout, but it just isn't working out. It's close to home and next to a movie theater. Service and hospitality have been going downhill over the last 3 months. Today, being a holiday, they had a busy lunch rush. All available tables were dirty when we walked in. Nobody greeted us when we entered. We ordered our Mexican Pyramid with no jalapeños. After sitting in the window for a while, our server JT noticed that it had jalapeños. He double-checked the ticket then asked the cook to remove the jalapeños. With food allergies as prevalent as they are, he should have asked us if that was OK with us. The nachos were served to us cold, a few hidden jalapeños. read more

Honestly, my boss and I were having a great time until we got our bill. Extra drinks were added to our bill that we did not order. After talking to the server(s) about it, they argued that we ordered the beers, which we didn't. Two regulars, which the servers knew, invited us over to their table while we were playing shuffleboard and soon after, ordered drinks and we got charged for them(the female bartenders were also taking shots with the regulars). The regulars ordered an Uber shortly after and left, but after getting our corrected bill, it was still wrong and had beer we didn't order. After going up to the bar to get it figured out, an argument started with multiple servers saying we were rude and that we ordered all the beers. I asked if they have cameras, and they said they do, so I asked them to look at camera footage because we knew we were right. They said it wasn't worth their time and they continued to try and charge us and kick us out for good, even though I continued to be respectful. Once they realized we were from out of town, they literally said we were pieces of shit and were never welcome back. That's not a problem, because we are from out of town, but what a lack of professionalism from everyone behind the bar, including some of your regulars. Seems like you aren't welcome if you're from out of town and don't spend many nights there. So much for having a life. Dept of Health is loaded with complaints about this place. Smelling of bleach and ammonia as soon as you walk in is suspicious to say the least. Bartenders, servers and "bus boys' stink like. booze, B.O. and cigarettes- so maybe bleach is needed! read more

This is a review for June 21/2021. We came here to start off the day for my birthday. We seated ourselves as the sign said which is totally fine. Our waitress brought our menus and drinks right away, great. Then we sat...and sat...and sat... watching our waitress and other waitresses serve the other patrons. Tables that showed up after us got their orders taken and we just sat there waiting. We gave them 25 minutes and I even made eye contact with multiple waitresses several times. We were never served. We got up and left and as we were leaving multiple waitresses told us have a good day. We were very upset. Not coming back. read more

We came here before a movie to get a bite. Definitely a locally loved spot- it was busy! We shared finger steaks and tater tots. Even as busy as it was, we got our order in, drinks refilled, and got our meal fairly quickly, probably because it was only one thing. Pretty decent finger steaks, I would compare them to a fast food version. They seemed to be fried in good oil (not bitter) and the tots were hot & delicious. I think the only way to ruin a tater tot is to have it cold, but this wasn't a problem. This seems like a place people mostly go to get drinks and hang with their buddies, and the food isn't the main centerpiece. But it seems well-loved and I could see why. Very lively atmosphere! I would go back here and try more, prices were decent and service was great. read more

My only problem with Rudy's is that we don't come often enough! Good food, and their mushroom bisque is outstanding. Wings are a staple and their hamburgers - especially the hammoneer - a reference to an old Boise restaurant the Red Steer- are awesome, if not structurally stable (get loads of napkins!) Servers and bartenders are friendly and know their drinks. And a special credit for brewing their own iced tea instead of cheaping out with that nasty Pepsi machine crap. Stopped by for lunch. Waitress was quick to take my order, but the service lacked after she realized I wasn't ordering alcohol and that I was only there for food. I sat there for quote a while after I was done & had to grab her attention after she was done helping the people next to me to get my check. This place was recommended by the salesman at Kendall Ford for Finger Steaks. They were pretty good. Reminded me of gator bites without the kick. Kind of like chicken fried steak bites. The place was open with a good assortment of TVs with sporting channels on. Also they have an outdoor eating area that is pet friendly. read more
