$16 dollar grilled cheese. Burnt and cold.
    Hollie C.

Yikes. We came today for the first time, and can't see ever returning. We arrived and were one of two tables initially. We ordered a kids grilled cheese ($8), and the adult pesto grilled cheese ($16). The kids one was bigger. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food, and when we did both sandwiches were cold and the $16 one was burned. Our waitress was nice but answered "I'm not sure" to multiple questions--like what Aperol is (ok, but it IS a sports bar) and if they carried sweetener for tea. She also had her hair down and leaned over the table which just seemed unsanitary--no offense to her, but most restaurants ask women to tie back their hair for that reason. The menu is really limited. If you're only going for drinks and tv, ok, but the food was awful and super slow.

We were reluctant to try this place because of its ratings, but we're glad we did! Our server, Kirsten, was exceptional, and she didn't leave anything unattended!!! Hence, the service was spot on!!! The meals were yummy. We ordered Brussels sprouts "Giddy style"...yum! The Poblano Burgar was large, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The side salad we ordered with it was crisp and a decent size. Would definitely order that Burgar again!!! And we also ordered the fried fish which was good, and it included four pieces. Have I had better? Yes, but I would order it again. The batter was lite and the fish moist, but Ide say it was just a little oily. They have a great selection of beer on tap. Probably at least 25. The place has a lot of TV'S for game nights. Ide give this place a try, and see for yourself.

    Brussel sprouts are killer!

Cool vibe and good drinks. Great patio and attentive staff. Lots of TVs all the games on and good music playing.

Regular cheeseburger with burnt bun and cold fries. The new hot batch were tasty though. Way overpriced!

Walked in with my husband and son and sat ourselves. Great place if you want to watch a game & drinks buy as a restaurant this place was terrible!! Took 40 minutes to get 2 burgers and an entree salad. (The table who was seated behind us before we got there, ordered 1 thing, waitress brought it and was informed it was supposed to be lettuce wrapped and the waitress never came back with the right item. They eventually cancelled the order and left) One of our Hamburger buns was burnt and fries were ice cold (almost frozen, so he brought 1 fresh batch) The Bacon Blue Entree Salad was literally only a cup of lettuce and a half piece of bacon. I also added chicken to the salad which was not in it. The young waiter said he'd let the kitchen know & it would be right out. 15 minutes later no chicken. So I told the manager I wasn't going to eat the salad cuz I wasn't paying $11 (for such a small portion) plus extra $4 for chicken (that never came). When I showed her how little lettuce was in the bowl she took it and said she'd be right back. Needless to say she never came back so we left 10 minutes later, only paying for the 2 burger. She had told us the restaurant was on day 3 of a soft opening and asked us to come back and try it later. According to other reviews & advertisements, I believe this location had been opened sooner than that but regardless, they were in nothing of knowing what a soft opening was. Usually restaurants will post a sign on the door so patrons know what to expect, and they want feedback. We saw the owner drinking in the private room and had no concern to know what was going on in his restaurant or stopping at tables. There was really only 1 main server. At times I'd see a random person come out from the back to clear a table or bring food out. In a few months I'll give this place 1 more try. They really need to add more items to the menu and lower their food prices if they want to keep this a restaurant rather than just a "bar" food atmosphere.

We have tried this place several times and the service is always so slow, to be fair they are also always understaffed. The food, drinks and sports are always spot on in a chill atmosphere. Tried it again tonight and the server/bar tender way very quick and attentive.

This review is for the second location on Chinden. While I love the space, the service (especially Stephanie who was a rock star) and the food, we probably won't be back. Way too many little people. Thats great for families to pop in for dinner and a drink and I totally would have loved this when I had little ones. I need a more adult oriented place. Yep, I'm old.

Updated to 4 stars. I'm really glad to see this establishment succeeding after the change over from Beef O'Bradys. Great bartenders, plenty of servers to serve a crowded house, quick drinks and food too. All the servers were constantly checking tables tonight. Much improved from one month ago. If you haven't gone yet, what are you waiting for?

Food was horrible. What they consider as Jumbo Wings was crazy. 6 of the smallest wings I have ever been served. Server was nice however after she brought our bill I had to remind her my wine was 2 for 1 and she charged for both. Hard to believe this place is still in business

I told our server Madi that we will not be coming back, because we are not leaving. They had me at Mango Cart. There are tons of beer on tap but if you like Blue Moon or Shock Top you need to try Mango Cart by Golden Road. If you want it really sweet, ask for a float of peach Monin (if they have it). Tonight was our first visit here, but we are sure to make it our new regular place. For such a small menu they have a great variety of food. We started off with the spinach artichoke dip. It is served in a hot cast iron skillet with lightly seasoned corn chips. Lisa ordered the Giggy D's loaded nachos with a side of guacamole, no meat. Who does that? They even offer carnitas. SMH. I ordered the finger steaks with roasted garlic and Parmigian fries. First time I ever had those; they are great. I opted for teriyaki sauce instead of the cocktail sauce it comes with. We couldn't resist the skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. I want to try the fresh fruit cobbler but what a way to finish dinner. Order it before you finish dinner because it takes 15 minutes to cook. I have to tell you I am three beers in and feeling pretty good. This can make writing a review pretty tough. Thank God for spell check. (Lisa is my DD.) I couldn't resist the Mango Cart is so good, hard to find anywhere else, and served ice cold. As good as it is, I saved the best for last. Madi our server was awesome. She was very helpful with navigating the menu. She was very attentive and checked in on us often. I am sure things run smoothly on Thursday and Friday but Madi is off. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.

This place is a no because they don't allow dogs on the patio, small limited menu, and not many people even in holiday weekend

I ordered a shredded beef enchilada but was given a chicken enchilada. It was good but not what I ordered. Some chips and salsa or beans would have been nice but there's none of that here. Thankfully the bar looks more presentable now and food and drinks are ordered at the same time, and by a waitress or waiter. I hope next time I can move the score up to a 4 or 5.

We started with the ceviche, and it was incredibly fresh. The seafood was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of citrus, topped with creamy avocado, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect appetizer. The star of the meal was the molcajete. It arrived sizzling hot and was packed with grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, nopales, onions, and roasted jalapeños. Every bite was full of smoky, authentic flavor, and the portions were more than enough to share. The rice, beans, guacamole, and fresh tortillas completed the meal perfectly. Everything tasted homemade and was served fresh. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and a menu full of traditional Mexican favorites made with quality ingredients. If you enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, fresh seafood, and hearty dishes that don't disappoint, Metztli deserves a spot on your list. We'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Came time to order food and we got one Cobb salad, brisket quesadilla, smoked huckleberry burger, and a plain burger with bacon. Cobb salad was big and tasty so I was told. Brisket quesadilla was good and tasty, no complaints what I was told. Huckle berry burger was different, it had a sweeter fresh taste to it. I'm always trying something new but if I could order again I would have got the hells canyon burger a more dirtier of a burger. Burger was a little dry but I use every sauce I can so didn't bother me too much. Regular burger came out with no bacon so he waited until bacon came out. Took a bite and there was curb sauce in it that he had not wanted in it. Asked for a new burger but by the time he got it everyone was done and thrill was gone. Got his bill and was charged for every item including the kitchens mistake. I want to say the younger server gal didn't want to take any heat for it since it wasn't her fault but didn't want to make her team look bad or the manager mad so she charged for everything without a discount. That was a rough one to be okay with. Twin Peaks on Spectrum St. was late with one of our meals by 8 minutes and took the meal off our check. I think the server girl here could be given more authority or at least have direction on what to do in situations like this but it is what it is now.

The BBQ wings were absolutely delicious! The Korean wings had great flavor too, but they were a little too spicy for me. We also ordered the truffle fries, and those were SO good! Definitely something I would order again. For my entrée, I had the steak bowl with stir-fried sesame brown rice & red quinoa, mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onion, baby broccoli, and red pepper flakes. Everything came together perfectly, and the steak made the bowl filling without feeling too heavy. My best friend ordered the cilantro lime chicken, and of course I had to taste a bite . The chicken was so tender and delicious--I completely understood why she enjoyed it! We each had a strawberry margarita, and they were flavorful, refreshing, and the perfect drink to go along with our meal.
