    No frills, but fun, sports bar near downtown Boise. Lots of TV's to watch your favorite game. Staff is very friendly. Greeted by bartender and staff when coming and leaving. Since moving here, I'm a big fan of finger steaks. Gotta try them wherever their offered. These fingers steaks were very good. Comes with three different flavored dipping sauces and fries. Chose the garlic parm fries. Big portion and they were delish. Fresh cut and fried perfectly. Chicken avacado salad was just ok. Not good, not bad. Offset the other order of fried goodness. Good cocktails and beers on tap.

    We had such a great time on our first visit to the Shed in Boise. We immediately got seated and got lucky because as soon as we did this place filled up with the hockey flange being on. I loved the vibe of this place and would be a great place to watch any sporting event. Food was outstanding! My SOS burger was awesome but high points for me were the hand cut fires and the wings were amazing! I would come back just for those. Service was A+ our server Benjamin was outstanding. He was such a kick in the pants with such a great attitude and loved his joking personality. That's another point I would come back for is just to sit in his section. This was a great find and we will for sure be back.

    This place is unbelievably good and had great customer service. Another great thing is the food is good.

The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. It looks like the slice of brisket I got was the outside and about 6-7"s long and it was really hard, stringy and tough to chew. It would have been nice if it was chopped finely and if I could have gotten something a bit more tender. It was warmed up though. You would think this would take 30 seconds to make this sandwhich, I should have to wait 15-20 mins. The flavor was ok, but I only ate about half and ended up having to get rid of the other half due to it just being too chewy and one long piece. Parking lot was fairly full, but nice that there was parking there. The vibe was a bit weird overall as well. I don't think I will be back. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

There was a wine rack accent wall on the right. It is located in downtown Boise at the corner of Idaho and 8th St along restaurant row. Our server was Matthew B, and while he was a nice guy, he did not provide good service. It took him a while to get to our table, then after we ordered drinks, it took too long to get them. We then ordered appetizers but he didn't take our dinner orders. We waited too long for the appetizers, and then we ordered our dinners, which also took a while to come out. Runners brought our food out, not Matthew. He did not to refill the women's sodas, we had to ask. He did bring another glass of wine to one of the men, but that was because he was signaled. Food was good too. I thought I ordered Eggs Benedict but I was given two eggs without hollandaise sauce instead. I didn't complain. I still ate it and everything was delicious. Service was quick so I'll definitely give this place another try.
