I decided to try something different, so I decided on a Strawberry Fields before the meal. Steven the bartender recommended it and it was delicious. The strawberry lemon made it a little sweet and sour without one overpowering the other. Their menu includes poultry, fish and of course the "Butcher's Corner". I ordered the Urban Cowboy steak and it was cooked to perfection. Juan, our server suggested different knife based on the meat we ordered. He also noticed that I had almost finished my drink and remembered what it was and asked if I would like another. Which I did. Juan's attention to our table made this a memorable dining experience. I only wish we had more room for dessert!! Maybe next time. Thanks to all the staff at Butcher & Barrel!!

The waitress was also super kind at the time. The prices are a little higher and I don't go out to eat much but that's the only reason I haven't been here since. Basically every screen in the place was must-watch TV and the bartender -- understandably distracted, perhaps -- decided that was the ideal moment to restock straws and cut fruit. We waited. In the heat. Our server was genuinely good when he materialized, which wasn't as often as we'd have liked. Food: the cheese curds earned their reputation. The Mekts burger was fine -- solid, no complaints. The Reuben rolls, however, arrived looking exactly like what they were: a Sysco product plated with minimal ceremony. Hard pass next time. As for the name -- if you're picturing a dock, pilings, maybe a gull or two -- walk outside and squint hard past the road and the rooftops. Big lake's out there somewhere. Technically. Maybe a 3.2 night in a 4.3 restaurant. I'd go back on a slow Tuesday in October.

Wow! What a spectacular evening at Sebastian's!…read moreCelebrated my husband's birthday along with a hometown reunion of his siblings here the other evening and it was PERFECT. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is spot on and gives you exactly the feel you want in a fine dining establishment. But the thing that makes this restaurant stand far above most others is the service! From the minute we walked in, we encountered nothing but genuine smiles and a sense that everyone there seemed to really care and be invested in us having a wonderful experience in their place of business. We were greeted at the front desk by a team of radiant ladies at the host stand. It seriously felt like they were happy to see us! Violet was especially kind and gracious and we enjoyed a short chat with her. The bartender was pleasant and efficient in taking our large varied order, and the drinks were solid. The bus and runner staff all were personable, polite and expedient. But the true star of our night was our waiter Brandon! He was spectacular. There were 15 of us and he handled our large table calmly and skillfully. He handled our indecisiveness, modifications, add ons, questions and loud revelry, professionally and expertly, never loosing his composure or patience. He definitely made our night. Thank you Brandon. We live in New York and most of the others live in Milwaukee and Minneapolis now, but Racine is the hometown and the 4th of July is a kin to a sacred holiday. The parade not to be missed! So I'm sure many a visit back is in our future, and the next time we do, I will make sure Sebastian's is on the top of our must do list! So please stay wonderful! Five stars!

I was fine with this as I'm not a huge bacon fans my husband ordered the brussel sprouts and the same entree as I did. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes. I should have asked for mashed potatoes instead. These were scalloped type potatoes and I've never liked the texture of scalloped potatoes. My husband loved them though. I did order crème brûlée but forgot to take a picture. It was fabulous and much better than other crème brûlées that I've ordered in the recent past at other restaurants. Service was extremely fast and friendly as well

The menu features lots of excellent Mexican cuisine choices including quesadillas, birria/ chorizo/ or steak tacos, Mexican breakfast options, and a small kids menu. During our first experience here, my husband ordered the steak taco plate which included 3 tacos, rice and beans. He also ordered the birria ramen. I, myself, ordered the birria taco plate which included 3 birria tacos, the consume, rice, and beans. We thought everything tasted very good! Beverages include: Different Mexican beverages such as Jarritos, Mex Coke, Horchata etc. Once could also canned soda, coffee, or juice. Their horchata was delicious-not overly sweet or watery at all. As far as alcoholic beverages, they have those, too! Paloma's, margaritas, and I was informed that they will soon have a mocktail menu. Service: Excellent. My husband and I dined-in on a very busy Sunday and there was no where to sit except a high counter-top area. We placed our order and were offered a table as soon as one became available. While eating, we were asked at least 3-4x if everything was okay or if we needed anything by various staff members. Prior to leaving, it started pouring rain outside. My husband paid our bill then went to pull our car closer to the door. While he was doing that, one of the employees by the name of Lupe grabbed an umbrella and walked me to the car when he pulled up (it's summertime and I was in summer attire including sandals). When I ordered carry out and sent my husband to pick up, I only wanted rice and beans. For some reason, he did not check the bag before leaving. He ended up coming home with some else's entire order which had no beans or rice. The restaurant was set to close in 15 mins, thus I did not bother to call about it. Value: $10-$20 on average for a meal and regular beverage. Great value for the portion sizes. Ambiance: Nice ambiance, yet very small restaurant with a bar area. Few tables outside for outdoor seating. Location: 2343 Mead St, Mt. Pleasant, WI, 53403 Phone: 262-456-0154 *Parking is all street parking and not the greatest when the place is busy. Check Google for business hours before going as it seems to change often. Cons in my opinion: * Because the restaurant is so small, I didn't like that large families were dining in and being *dining squatters* by taking up a few tables and conversing with one another for a long time, which took up a lot of space for a lot time. *dining squatter- someone that dines at a place, taking their sweet time eating, and lounging around after eating. * this business also owns a food truck, so it seems that their restaurant hours of operation change quite often depending on when they will take their food truck out.

The restaurant is quite spacious and located on the second level of the building. There are options to sit inside, outside but covered, or outside. The marina and Lake Michigan add the experience with great views from the deck area. Our server was very nice. She was super attentive, and we really appreciated her checking back in for refills, napkins, etc. The food was actually the highlight of my experience. I got the garlic shrimp skewers which came with a Hawaiian roll, Cole slaw and a side (I chose a baked potato). My partner got the prime rib dip with hush puppies. Didn't have a chance to take a pic of the cheese curds before they were devoured! Only downside is the place is VERY noisy. Everytime someone who move a chair, the scraping sound was otherworldly. They are metal chairs on a concrete/gravel flooring. Not ideal. And waitstaff was constantly dropping things and running into each other or the chairs/tables. That was a bit chaotic. However, the food was great and so were the views. They also have live music (they had wrapped up before we got there today). I'd definitely come back (maybe sit inside near an area where you can look out on the lake).
