The vibes, services and views are 5/5! Definitely worth a visit just to see the views of Lake Michigan and the beautiful and unique decor of the hob nob. I ordered a cosmo and it was just ok - tasted a bit sweet and not quite as cold as I like. I ordered wine next and got an extremely generous pour! The bartenders were so sweet and attentive.

Amazing venue and perfect service. Thank you Guadalupe! Food was good but not great. Solid French onion soup and salad were spot on. Chicken Parnassian was delicious and a generous portion. My garlic shrimp and au gratin potatoes were just meh. The potatoes were extremely mushy and lacked salt. There were only a few shrimp and lacked seasoning. Presentation was sad. Just shrimp in a small plat on a larger plate. Can't believe that meal cost $39! Will get something else next time. Way too overpriced for what you got. The rest of the prices were fair.

Great atmosphere and service. The lamb shank was amazing except there were just 2 small red potatoes. Usually not a huge lamb fan but I would definitely get this again. The swordfish had very good flavor but it was a small portion and was also very thin.

We were very excited to try the nostalgic supper club when traveling through the area. The atmosphere and decor are definitely the best feature of this restaurant. It's right on the water and uniquely decorated with a retro vibe. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our hostess was nice and offered us a choice of tables. The restaurant was busy and the dining rooms were fairly loud- not the cozy environment we were hoping for. We started with old fashioners which were tasty. Our waitress to a while to get to us to order our meals. We started with the relish tray. It was dropped off at our table but no explanation of what the spreads were it was okay- mostly spicy peppers and probably not worth the $13. For our main meal we ordered steak in a skillet and a shrimp cocktail which I was having as the entree. We got the steak first. The veggies in the skillet were good but the steak was chewy with not much flavor- we ordered it medium rare. We were almost finished with the steak when the waitress brought out the shrimp. We were about to tell her we didn't want it. Wish we had told her it was a $17 shrimp cocktail with 4 medium shrimp with cocktail sauce that tasted like ketchup. All in all it was a just okay experience and in our opinion not worth the hype/price.

4.5 stars. A classic supper club right on the lake in Kenosha, though sadly due to dining on a Saturday night in February, we did not get to experience the spectacular lake views. Coat check is a nice touch, for the chilly winter nights and not having to drag your coat to your table. We made a reservation in advance but still had a little bit of a wait when we got there, so we hung out in the first room at the bar. Inside, this place looks like a design battle between old Hollywood glam, a drag queen, and a history buff --imagine velvet galore and comfortably chaotic, but from the outside, classic diner. Each room offers its own unique style, and we were seated in the one with large windows that would typically offer a view of the lake (though it was a bit too dark to enjoy it during our winter visit). The atmosphere was peaceful, which was great for our larger group, as we could hear each other without shouting. Our server, Christian, was attentive and made the experience even better. Now for the food, we started with oysters on the half shell, and most of the table opted for steaks -- filets, New York strips, and the famed cowboy ribeye. Each dinner (for chops and steaks) comes with your choice of soup, salad, and potatoes, with some premium upgrades available. Most of us chose the French onion soup, which came with extra cheese -- a delicious addition! The food was solid overall, though I wouldn't say there was anything particularly extraordinary, except for the classic way the courses were served. Based on reviews I'd read before coming, there were some complaints about the value versus the price, but with the three-course meal and side of potatoes, I felt I got my money's worth. For dessert, the table shared a variety of options, including an ice cream drink, flourless chocolate cake with ice cream, and tiramisu. We did try to get oysters Rockefeller and crème brulee but they were out for the night sadly. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would definitely dine here again.

Finally got to check this place out. I heard great things! We showed up about 20 minutes early for our reservation, so we made our way over to the bar. The bartender broke the ice by making everyone laugh and have a great time. After enjoying a couple cocktails we were seated, and ordered. Our food (prime rib) was experty prepared and our beverages were beautifully made. The staff were very professional and courteous. The building is gorgeous, sitting just on the edge of lake Michigan, with big windows looking out onto the water. definitely a return trip.

I'm a sucker for Wisconsin supper clubs--Especially if they have an awesome view and a small jazz band playing. Seriously, what's not to like? This place is both clean and dark. My wife commented on this fact which is important because dark restaurants sometimes hide their flaws in their darkness. Not here. The place was great-- all the stuff. Mirrored walls, dressed up wait staff, fish fry and prime rib as well as an impressive Wisconsin old fashioned. We had crab cakes and filet both were excellent but there was so much food-- it really feels like a bargain. Bread & butter, salad, soup, potato and then your entree. Holy hell for 4 drinks, 2 entrees plus the outstanding calamari (we didn't need) we were in for only $150. AND, we got some fun photos outside. Cool unique place- great service, terrific food and one of a kind setting. Next time we will try the pink squirrel!!

What an amazing step back in time! The ambiance with the view of Lake Michigan is spot on. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The food was a good value and the steak was so juicy and tender. Cooked the way my husband loves it. Definitely somewhere we will be going back to.

New management and not nearly as good as it was before. We had a reservation for a birthday dinner at 6:30 on a Saturday night. We arrived about 2 minutes late but were told our table still wasn't ready. They offered for us to go to the bar, but the area was pretty full for people dining and those already at the bar that it was tough for 5 people. Plus, it took a while before we got drinks. Thankfully, we were seated within about 5-10 min. When our server stopped by, she advised they were already out of prime rib. Okay, stuff happens. When asked about appetizers, we placed an order of the gorgonzola garlic bread. Our server came back after a while saying they were out of that as well. This is a favorite for the birthday boy and one of the reasons we came so second tough blow for the night. We got some bread but no butter and had to ask another server as ours disappeared for a while. We got our ice cold salads which were plain and meh. Balsamic was a dressing option, but really, it's just a bottle of balsamic vinegar. We were able to get a bottle of oil so we could make our own dressing, but it didn't do much to dress up the bland salad. The one thing we liked was the french onion crock. The entrees were just okay. For the prices you're paying, it doesn't seem worth it. The filet was one of the worst my husband had. Not cooked right, lacking flavor and low quality (lot of gristle for a filet). The salmon was okay but not worth the price, honestly. The baked potato on the side was pretty small compared to most supper clubs we've been to. The ambiance is great. They have live music in the bar some nights when we've gone and the place looks cool. But, that doesn't make up for lackluster food and mediocre service. I will actively avoid this place going forward.

Disgusting strawberry waffle. Frozen soggy strawberries and fake funny tasting whip cream!

Went for brunch and it was not good. It is spring and they serve frozen, limp, gross strawberries on their waffles! Not acceptable. Please serve fresh fruit or at least indicate in your menu that all fruit being used is frozen and not fresh! This restaurant needs to "step up its game." I ask the management to please eat the food being served in your restaurant and judge for yourselves if it is fresh, tasty, and looks to be something you would like to eat. This waffle fails in all categories! Very disappointing!

Do they have prime rib on Sunday nights, and Fridays too? Or is it only a Saturday night special?

Would this be a good place to go after a round of golf? is it casual? We will be in golf attire. Nice collard shirts and dockers. Some guys may be still wearing golf hats. Would this be acceptable?

This is a Wisconsin supper club, golf attire should be fine. But a reminder from us moms "take your hat off at the table" ;)

I got the jalapeno cheddar brat, which came with your choice of potato and another side. I got the baked potato and pickled cabbage. Both were nothing special but good. The brat was great! I wish they had a meal with two brats, because even just the meal with one was pretty pricey. My drink was some peach cocktail and I didn't realize it was be so large!! But it was really good. Brat Stop is a local establishment that's close to the highway and looked like something I could easily eat in the car, so I called in and ordered to go of a two brat plate with fries. I asked for a smoked garlic brat and a cheddarwurst, but I believe they gave me a Cajun brat instead of the cheddarwurst based on the flavor of the second one. I still ate it because I didn't dislike it and I didn't feel like going back to have them replace it, but if it was Cajun it wasn't spicy enough for how I like Cajun food. The smoked garlic brat was great and worth the $1 upcharge. I appreciate that the fries were battered and had plenty of crispy pieces in the box. Yes, I would stop again because the smoked garlic brat and fries were excellent, but I'm knocking off a star from this review for them screwing up my order.

On Tuesdays, they offer a $49 tasting menu. The portions were large enough I couldn't finish…read moreeverything despite being voracious. While there was a spread, the meal was above average overall. The breakdown: 1st course - Parkerhouse Rolls: I have to give them points for showmanship. The beef tallow candle is a bona-fide candle! While there is an element of gimmickiness, it creates a fresh-tasting warm dip. The rolls themselves, while not the best bread I've ever had, were fresh, of perfect density, and wonderfully herbaceous. I give these a 8/10. 2nd course - Kale Caesar Salad: This is one where I tried a couple of forkfuls, and then said I didn't want anymore. I can award some consolation points for a healthy amount of parmesan, and accoutrements of garlic breadcrumbs, almonds, and egg yolk. Outside of these, however, the star of the show was a basic caesar dressing with kale that didn't taste much like anything. I give this a 2/10 3rd course - Grilled Oysters: This was hands down my favorite dish of the evening. I thought I wasn't a fan of cooked oysters, until I had these. The smell was as smoky as a campfire, the oysters cooked perfectly with a herbaceous and slightly acidic sauce and no fishiness! It reminded me of stupendously executed escargot. This dish deserves an 11/10. 4th course - Crispy Shrimp: The shrimp themselves were cooked well, and had an almost too-light breading. What helped elevate this dish was everything else. herbs, spices, sauce, olives, tomatoes, and greens all worked together well. It added savory, fresh, and acidic notes to the dish. An 8/10 from me. 5th course - Duck Confit Cigars: I appreciate what they were going for here, but the dish felt a little uninspired. They seemed more like a simple appetizer of duck rolled inside phyllo/wonton dough and fried. I can't complain about the marmalade, and it did help a little by adding sweetness and a little citrusy bitterness. These were pretty good, but if having a cigar, would rather have a Cuban - 7/10. 6th course - Marinated Cucumbers: Unlike the Caesar Salad, this vegetable course was superb. The flavor of the marinade was light and not at all overpowering. The cilantro added some herbiness, while the date puree added savory sweetness, and the garlic-chili crunch a little bite. No notes, a 10/10. 7th course - Skirt Steak & Crispy Smashed Potatoes: When the plate arrived in front of me, it made me wish for Smell-o-Vision, or, whatever the equivalent is here. Smell-o-Yelpision? The potatoes were divine, with the chicken cracklings helping add crunch, savor, and a heavenly smell. While I don't know if I can call them "smashed," they were still spud perfection. Spudfection? The steak was good, but not amazing. It was generally cooked well, though I can't say it was medium-rare throughout. While it was a fine cut and well seasoned, it was a hair shy of fork tender and melt in your mouth. The Aji Verde, while intended for the potatoes, went well with both. A dish that makes me wish I wasn't already full, and would devour everything in a heartbeat - 8/10. Dessert course - Apple Pie Cheesecake: Alas, by the time we got to the end, I was already stuffed. However, through and through the dessert screamed homemade by a pastry chef who knows what they're doing. Apple-y cake, lightly crisp crust, homemade whip, caramelized apple pieces, and gelato! Time to save room for dessert on a return visit! For being the apple of my sweet-tooth's eye; a 10/10. Drinks: I know that I had a Savoy Strut and a Blind Tiger. I'm sorry to say my mind did not retain specifics, but can tell you the cocktails added great creativity. Both were well-balanced in terms of sweetness, booziness, and savoriness, though not mind-blowing. A beer-goggle-less review of 9/10. Vibe: The atmosphere is a blend of moody, modern, and upscale. It has tasteful splashes of color, music playing at just the right volume, and tables not spaced too closely together. The bar seating reminded me of the uber-comfy bus driver seats that do a little ploosh when you sit. (10/10) Service: Credit to the bar-server for being friendly and welcoming, as well as making sure I was happy and asking for feedback on what about the salad I didn't like. However, I'd like to note as it was his first Tuesday shift, he didn't know about the Tuesday Tasting Menu, and some things arrived out of sequence. To be clear, this is not a failing of the server, but management for not offering proper, timely training, and having him work alone. Bonus to the staff for quickly 86'ing someone who was WAY too happy in public. Service gets a 7/10 Final verdict: I crunched some numbers. If "7" is average, Untitled Supper Club averages 8.2 on an equally-weighted basis. The tasting menu gave me a good picture of their offerings - enough to say what appetizers to get when coming with friends so I don't stuff myself with too much bread prematurely, unable to enjoy a dessert.

I love the ambiance of the place, feels very high end and intimate. Perfect place for a date night or girls night. Thought that was pretty bad service, as we were still snacking on the apps, and I still had probably a quarter of my drink left. Guess they were ready to get us out of there as quick as possible. I went here with my best friend and my hubby to celebrate my birthday with a great birthday dinner…read more We were in the Chi already visiting Atlas Stationary as a self-proclaimed station and fountain pen freak so we figured why not?!? I had heard great things about Carnivale prior to so please note that prior reservations were already made but regardless, it was all our first times there and we were stoked to finally try this place out. When we first got there, the outside was very unassuming. Some awesome graffiti on the wall (yes, angel wings included) and lots of color which made me so happy! As we entered, we were greeted by lots of colored flora on the walls and the floor. It led to a beautiful lounge where we checked in. The hostess was quite kind and they escorted us to another room that had multiple floors, two I believe. We were sitting in the main dining area where dining tables were set up and the ceiling lights and decorations were super-duper colorful. It was brightly lit and festive. Seriously, the colors alone could make anyone happy and do a serious dopamine overload which was fine with me. We sat down, was introduced to our server, Oscar and then given menu's. I genuinely thought that this place was pretty small initially because it looked small from the outside but boy was I wrong! This place was MASSIVE. But! I digress, now that we had our menu's-- Let the party begin!! We started with the ceviche tasting which included four types of ceviche; shrimp, Yucatan style hamachi, salmon and tuna. All were really good with their own really distinct flavors but our top favorites were the salmon and the tuna. The salmon had a kick while the tuna had a great balance of heat and sweetness. Great way to start of this dinner! My bestie ordered coconut shrimp and smoked mushroom croquettes for her main meal. My hubs ordered the carne asado while I ordered the lechon asada. I also want to add that we ordered Mexican street corn on the side alongside mashed potatoes and Peruvian Jalea. Ah and before I forget, we also ordered our drinks which consisted of a: sangria, margarita, Cotton Candy Cosmo and Salva Honduran Pilsner. All were spectacular and made the night that more enjoyable as well! When we received our food. We were all really enjoyed it as we all shared our bites amongst one another. The coconut shrimp was well breaded and you tasted the coconut as well. The shrimps were large and juicy. The smoked mushroom croquettes were good with a smokey flavor and good breading, however, the breading may have a been a little thick because you couldn't really taste the mushroom,m unfortunately. The carne asado was the star of the show. Well seasoned steak, cooked medium rare which was juicy and succulent. The lechon asado was good. Although I'm not used to eating lechon asado that is covered in sauce, the sauce was super tasty so I didn't mind the tender, juicy pork that was covered in it. I really enjoyed it. I think the only thing that I wish was different with regards to my lechon asado is that I wish it were hotter because it was luke warm when I received it. Other than that, it was....*chef's kiss*. The Mexican street corn was alright, it honestly just tasted like regular corn with mayonaise in it with some cheese. Didn't add anything significant to the meal. The mashed potatoes were soft but not too soft and buttery. They were really good and then the Purvian Jalea was another favorite, super good! The calamari, fish and shrimp with the Purvian Jalea were absolutely delicious; fresh, tasty and well breaded. It was absolutely yummalicious. To top the night off, they gave me a little birthday treat of cotton candy and carmel popcorn. We also had some tres leches which was so yummy because the fruit was fresh and you could taste the milk in the tender cake and then we had the chocolate cigar. The chocolate cigar was also really good, everything except the label was edible, It was smokey, chocolately and delectable. It's presentation was also so creative. We all loved it. Overall, this restaurant is SUPER PRICY but SUPER WORTH IT. I am so glad that I was able to go there to celebrate a special occasion because it would not be a place that I could go to on a regular basis but as much as I wish I was, ya girl ain't rich like that. The service was superb, the employees were kind, the food was fire and drinks were scrumptious. If you're looking for a fun, Latin cuisine inspired, creative, yummy way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion with a fun Latin twist--look no further, that is it! Check it out and you won't be disappointed. Now, I'm sorry for my novel and you may now go back to your normal programming schedule. If you do end up coming here and loving it -- i told ya so ;)
