The time before was apparently Elvis impersonator night. Oh yes, the last friday, and sometimes Saturday, of every month features an Elvis impersonator who drinks as much if not more that Elvis did while belting out some serious tunes. This was three sliders served on Hawaiian rolls. the crab cakes had good flavor. I liked the chipotle aioli was very good and paired well with the crab cake, house made pickles and pickled red onion. It took quite a while before our entrees arrived. I know it was Friday evening and they were packed, plus they were dealing with a large party, but I think the only reason we got our food when we did was because our server, who was also a bartender, noticed we hadn't gotten our food. He brought our entrees out and they looked good. I immediately noticed my food was cold and had been sitting for a while. My wife commented her pasta was cold as well. The fries were house made, but cold and the Pork Belly Bahn Mi sandwich was cold and the roll was getting hard, like it had been toasted and sat for a while. One bartender a few days before Christmas when you're promoting the pop up on social is really bad. Then having your bartender say he can't wait for the night to end is even worse. If you're going to do a Christmas theme bar- perhaps hire someone who wants to be there and make sure they want to be in the Christmas spirit along with more bartenders or staff! Even allowing them to wear something Christmas related would have been a nice touch. As for the drinks- if you're going to offer a special Christmas drink menu at least give me a drink made fresh and not from a pre-mix thrown in a random glass with no Christmas look to it. A little sprinkle or a rim with sugar sure would have made a difference! 3 of us all ordered off the special menu and each drink was AWFUL! And looked miserable.
