My most recent visit was a very good experience considering my dilemma with PEPBOYS!Don't go to PEPBOYS, they'll put the wrong size tire on your car. I just returned from Rudy's and was treated extremely well. I had a slow leak in my tire that another shop said couldn't be fixed (almost new tire, BTW) and it would need to be replaced. After a few months of adding air it was leaking faster. Called several tire stores for quotes. Rudy's suggested I stop in to make a decision on what to order. He pulled the tire off and found it was easily fixable (not on the sidewall, as the other shop said). My almost new tire is fixed for a fraction of what I was dreading on spending right now. Came to Rudy's months ago with a severely damaged tire. Hit some kinda bolt and put a very large hole. Always a risk driving in Sun Valley. Didn't think the tire could be repaired and they never for a second try to pressure me into new. The polite young gentleman worked surprisingly hard and long to get that tire patched. I was very impressed. I don't recall but it was very inexpensive. More importantly, however, it's the integrity and the way they've treated my 84-year-old mother. She has been in numerous times for tire repair by herself and numerous times, they have taken care of her as if she was there own. They could've easily manipulated it into new tire sales like the local Pep Boys does often but they didn't and repaired every time.. The last time they told her she will be due for new tires next time and yet when she arrived I believe they would've tried to patch it again. On this date she bought a new tire. She is very satisfied with the experience every time, and with the price, as it was almost identical to or less than every other establishment I could find. Even Walmart tires. Support a local business, the people here are awesome. I can't see why anyone would go to one of those franchise stores for tires. My vehicle will be due soon and I will purchase new from Rudy's tire. read more

This place is great! It's a mom & pop (more like a dad and son) shop that really cares for their customers. Rudy the owner (Rudy isn't his real name) is honest and fair with his prices. 5 out 5!!!! Rudy's tires is amazing. Had to replace all four of my tires. Called him on a friday. Ordered them on a Saturday. And they were installed on a monday. In less than an hour and a half with alignment. Test drove my car twice. He let me know some things that needed to be done in the future and was not pushy at all. Along with their prices which are very reasonable. I am a person who doesn't know anything about cars. And he explained everything to me which means alot. This place deserves more than 5 stars, honestly! I had a nail in my rear passenger side (Lexus NX). Took it to Just Tyres and they were asking for $200 to replace the entire tire. The nail was on the outer wall of the thread and they said only a new tire will fix the issue. Frustrated, I went to Rudy's for a second opinion. A gentleman named Cesar helped me. He took out the nail, ran some tests on the tire. Turns out, the nail was very tiny and had not penetrated too deep inside to cause a puncture. I gave Cesar a small gift as he wouldn't charge me anything for his time. Came to get a nail in my tire removed and fixed. The place is small so entering might be tricky. A nice gentleman came by looked at the tire and recommended to get the tire repaired from the inside out because my tires are run flats. The cost would be $30 rather than the usual quick fix about $10. He said he can do it in about 30 mins so I agreed. Waited in a small waiting area, no AC. Waited about 20 minutes and the tire was fixed and back on my car. They were awesome and friendly! They take debit and card so you're solid if you come here. read more
