This place is really nice and me and my friends go there often and it's also really cheap. I would recommend

Big disappointment! We ordered pizza ( decent ) and five chicken tenders. Total bill was just north of $38 because we tipped 10% although it was pick up. The tenders cost $ 12.99 ! Definitely pricey but We figured they must be big. Nope. Take a look at the photo. I'm of the philosophy that cost is only an issue in the absence of value. No value here. And for a ridiculous cost. And to boot They were over cooked, dry and tiny. Just looked at the menus for Towne Pizza (2 miles up Carmen rd.) and paisans ( all over Capital region ) and the price is $8.05 and $8.25. We Recommend both places as they are typically our go to's for pizza. Delicious. We've eaten at Ruggerios before and it's been much better. You need to be better and don't over charge patrons. Take a minute to slow down , appreciate your customers and deliver a good product. It's your name on the door and it's a small town. We do not recommend.

Not sure why the reviews are so low for this restaurant but I had no problems at all that. I ordered a 6" sub with a cookie and the sandwich was definitely big enough to fill me up for the day and the bread was excellent soft Italian style. Would certainly recommend them for a hearty sandwich if you're hungry. Also the home made cookie was great.

After a big heavy downpour with thunderstorms was over, I decided to pull over and grab a quick bite at Ruggiero's, located just north of the Route 20 intersection in Guilderland. Ruggiero's serves NY style pizza (by the slice or pie), sandwiches, and Italian food. They also have dlei salads and use Boar's Head and Block & Barrel (Sysco) deli meats and carry RC products in the cooler. Desserts are from J.S. Watkins. See the menu offerings at http://www.ruggierospizza.com Inside the atmosphere is very relaxed, high ceiling, order at the counter with self serve booth and table seating. For lunch, I got a slice of Cheese Pizza ($1.89 with tax), which had a good thin chewy crust, but the sauce tasted sour topped with a good amount of browned mozzarella cheese. That was enough to tide me over, just right.

Got this yesterday.... Usually the service is trash... today... the sandwich was literally trash.

Pizza is so inconsistent. One week it's great. The next week it isn't. No longer a customer due to their inconsistency!

No one makes it better! And the quality is consistent. A week ahead, we order either a half tray or a full tray depending on the number of guests. In either case, leftovers are welcome because it reheats beautifully. I am an Italian-American who cooks, and I say making excellent Eggplant Parm is not easy. Even if you cut the eggplant with a Slicer, it is an art to fry it without it becoming greasy because eggplant is like a sponge. Plus it is takes skill to prepare it with the right amount of cheese. Capri Eggplant Parm is perfection. It slices into well defined pieces. It pairs well with Italian Rolls or Italian bread. The Sementelli family has owned and operated Capri since 1973. It carries quality imported food products as well as deli meats, olives, bread, roll, and prepared meals in the freezer area. It is a gem tucked away on upper Broadway in Schenectady, NY.

I like the attentiveness of the staff whenever we come here in person whether for diner in or takeaway, and their fresh pickles are wonderfully crunchy and worth looking forward to. R Gershon's Deli (Facebook) Dear Friends of Gershon's, It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with our loyal customers, friends, staff, and extended family. I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Geshon's Deli & Caterers. Friday, January 30th, 2026, was our final day. This decision was not made lightly as Gershon's has been an integral part of my life since I was a little girl. After my father's untimely passing, I took over with one clear mission, to honor his legacy, keep his dream alive, and continue providing quality service and "good food for good people." For more than 60 years, Gershon's has been shaped by the people who walked through our doors. Every employee, customer, client, and friend has played a role in our story and our success. Unfortunately, rising food costs, ongoing economic challenges, the lasting effects of COVID, and the loss of my final opportunity this week have left me with no other choice. To everyone who has supported me over the past nine years, thank you. Thank you for the memories, for trusting us with your celebrations, holidays, milestones, and everyday moments. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives, in both the joyful times and the hard ones. I will miss seeing you all more than I can put into words. I got the Turkey & Bacon triple decker with Russian, no tomato and a side of mac salad. The turkey is roasted in-house and has no added salt but plenty of flavor. It was moist, sliced thick piled high. The Russian dressing was good too. They make their mac salad with egg, celery, and carrots. I didn't taste any additional seasoning and to be honest I'm not even sure if they add mayo. I added a little salt and pepper because it was kinda bland for my taste but overall it was decent. I really hate Mac salad that is wet and has a pickle/vinegar taste and this was not like that at all. $16.50 isn't a bad price considering the amount of meat. I've been paying more than that for breakfast lately.

In one sentence: The food for my grandson's graduation party prepared by LaGioia Deli was outstanding! All the guests raved by the quality of the food, the preparation, and the quantity! From the moment my daughter contacted Laura, the owner, to place the order to its pickup everything was handled efficiently, with care, and with an emphasis on what the customer desired. A change in the order was made with no problem. Friendly service throughout the process. The food was packaged very well and stayed warm. Portions were generous and the cost less than other places. The items ordered: Cheese Tortellini with Broccoli and Shrimp (excellent) Chicken Parm (outstanding!) Meatballs (like Grandma makes, so GOOD) Ziti with red sauce (freshly made and seasoned perfectly) Cavatelli with red sauce Eggplant Rollitini (popular and delicious) Chicken tenders Three large loaves of house made bread (outstanding, guests returned for seconds) (The owner gave us rolls also.) A large container of grated cheese and extra sauce was included. Our family from Rhode Island took some bread for the car trip home. Check out my photos to view the food! There were lots of leftovers to enjoy another day or two or three. We highly recommend LaGioia for catering. We usually order from Homestyle, but the food here was better. (Not to mention the better attitude plus getting the order correct and ready when requested. Owner at Homestyle sometimes "forgets" to tell kitchen about phone orders. You arrive for pickup, and there is no record of order!!!) Pizzas from Pizza Works in Burnt Hills rounded out the menu along with a tossed salad and fresh fruit. Two large Ice Cream Cakes from Marcela's on Rt. 50 were a hit as always! Nana made Italian Lemon Cookies!
