Went to dinner with the family and afterwards dad said he wanted to shoot some pool. I hadn't been to Rum Runner in at least 12 years so I looked it up and it was still there and open. We walked in and it looked nice with a couple open pool tables, most full with people playing. They have darts, shuffleboard and plenty of large screens with sports on. This is and always has been a Packers bar. I checked in at the bar and got the cue ball. There is a machine against the wall for quarters so got $5 bucks worth. We all sat in the corner next to an open table and were quickly greeted by a cocktail waitress. We ordered 5 drinks and some waters. Found some cues and proceeded to rack em up. Was a nice evening shooting pool and spending time with the family. It is a bar so you have to be 21 to enter the bar side. There is a restaurant on the right side of the location. I believe it is called the Badger Cafe. The service was very nice and attentive even bought it was quite busy inside. Will be back again to shoot pool with friends and family. read more

We were killing time before our flight at 3pm, so we came to catch the foot game here around noon. When we walked in, we discovered it was a house full of packers! It was special event for the team. Nonetheless we were welcomed in. Our drink server was so nice and accommodating. She got to us quickly and was really friendly. Pro- Service was fast and efficient. The servers was friendly. Let me start off for saying puke puke puke. The food is good. The bartender sucked sucked and sucked. Walked up to the well. He was standing right there looked at me and walked away. Not to do anything he just walked away. He then came over to me with attitude and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT" in not a good tone. Think about it. You have so many way to say it. Like what can I get you. How may I help you. What would you like to drink. I ordered 2 shots of goldslauger and an ammaratto on the rocks. He had such a bad attitude the he ran my card and I put zero tip and wrote how bad of an experience it was with him on it. Look dude get a job that suits you like I don't know maybe a bathroom attendant at rainbow bar or back door. But you really sucked for my experience at the rum runner. A taste of Wisco in Vegas. This place is fabulous. Now, I don't want to replicate my home town experience everywhere I go but there is something special about being with your tribe in Las Vegas. We came for a Green Bay Packers game and had one hell of a good time. The owners and staff are friendly, organized and diligent. The food is hearty, hot, fresh and very reasonably priced. It gets crowded for games so get here early! We got lucky getting seats after arriving about an hour before game time. It's crowded and a little smokey but, as a non smoker, it really wasn't that bad at all. This place is also a great option for grub on your way to the airport. They get 5 stars because we have a Packer bar in Las Vegas. I was here for the Packers at the Bears 2018. The place was 'Packed'. I loved the wings and sampler platter. Good drink specials - 100oz beer tower. They do allow smoking in the bar so if you still smoke... quit. Lol. No smoking in the Badger restaurant. I'm sure the place is just as awesome when the Packers don't play. The other cool thing, game starts at 10am! They do need a coordinator to help with the drawing entires for busy times. read more

Found this place on google, my boyfriend and I planned a week long trip to Vegas and I didn't want him to miss the Packers vs Viking game on Sunday. So we left California 5am to get to the bar on time and it did not disappoint. The bar was full of cheese heads. It was really fun watching a game with a bunch of packers fans. My boyfriend was in heaven! The prices were reasonable and the food was good. We got the beer tower for $16 and they also have Jell-O shots for $3 each. The staff was friendly. PACKERS BAR!! Pretty rad, the gf found a new home on sundays. They offered a $25 "packer backer" which is a steal of a deal (you get perks of not only a shirt of your choice, free food, BOGO drink ticket and entered into a same day drawing contest. Overall, great bar, great cocktail waitresses, bartenders, overall environment, and especially the owners. We had the privilege of meeting the owners the same day we found this gem. If you're a hardcore Wisconsin sports fan, this is definitely the place to be. When you walk in, you definitely feel the love going towards Green Bay Packers and University of Wisconsin Badgers. After all, it's plastered all over the bar walls XD Ever since we cut our cable, the hubby's been down here for almost every Packer game to watch, drink and socialize. I think he paid around $50 for a "Packer Backer" deal that gets him one free bratwurst and potato salad at each Packer game's half-time, and discounts on alcoholic beverages. He or we (whenever I'm able to go) usually head down there at least 1 hour in advance to actually get seats 'cause it's been crowded, especially during rivalry games (e.g., Chicago Bears). My favorite thing to always get is their fried cheese curds. Service staff are always friendly, and they've always been patient when we've gone with large groups. 2 different types of servers during the game - bar servers typically wear Packer jerseys/shirts, and wait staff/food servers wear red shirts. For 3 plates of food, 2 orders of fried cheese curds, and 5-6 rounds of drinks (from game day menu), I think we spent between $100-$125 during the Packers v. Bears 2019 game. The first time I went, the food was good, but the atmosphere is of the type that if a client has some kind of situation with another, the management does not intervene or call the police. It has a type of regular clientele that does what they understand, bothers and creates situations and the employees and other people saw what was happening, on the night of August 19, 2023 a couple of friends at about 1:30 am after spending about an hour in the place and being uncomfortable by 4 men and 1 woman who apparently seemed to know the employees, the woman asked the men for free drinks and was upset by my friend's refusal and began to look for problems and make a situation and they decided to leave the place outside at the entrance the 4 men and The woman was beaten and his wife was also beaten by the 4 men and the woman and nobody did anything. The management did not call the police. Everything continued as if nothing had happened. Do not go to a place where the management does not care about the clients, they do not have security and they allow these situations without putting a stop or calling the police to prevent a misfortune. read more

Divey yet smoke-free sports bar with good food?! Found it all here! Granted, the food is from the Badger Café next door (separate review), but it's handy how they've partnered up for business and seems to benefit both. Bartenders were friendly and female, plenty of TVs tuned to both MLB and NBA games- counted 10 screens, and that's just from the front area where I stayed. In addition to bar seating, there are long family-style tables, also pointed at various screens. Didn't notice any built-in gaming consoles, but that's not my style anyway. There are about a trillion (ok, maybe about 5 or so) Rum Runners around town and until just a few weeks ago I'd never set food in any one of them. And really, I wasn't missing much. It's your typical strip mall bar. Dark, smokey, TVs showing all different manner of sportscasts. And, hey, sometimes that's what you want. Sometimes that's the environment you need. Usually you've just been dumped or your dog's just died, but that's beside the point. Awesometastic bonus points: shuffleboard is available (although we couldn't figure out how in the world it was supposed to work and no one wanted to ask the barkeep), there's also shuffleboard bowling which, although ridiculously easy, is worth the 50 cents or whatever, and the cheap-o burgers you can get at the bar. You fill out a card to build your own burger, give it to a waitress, and sooner than you think you'll have a fresh burger in front of your face for all of $2.25. Hooray! It took quite some time to get a bartender's attention a few times, although we were drinking some pretty spendy drinks (especially for them, I'm sure.). Sooner rather than later, we ended up getting a 12 pack and going home. We had a better time there. read more

First let me clarify that this review is for the food side of Rum Runner- NOT the bar side. I love this place. I've seen all different people eating here- young, old, teenagers, families, groups of friends, businessmen- so many. When a place can appeal to so many different people and their tastes, it is a very very good thing. I'll be honest, I haven't been very adventurous here. I've only tried... maybe 4 things on the menu. When I come here, I only really come here for two things: Wings. and Burgers. They have a flavor of the month sauce- always interesting, mostly good. Though I usually stick to teriyaki (my favorite) and get the wings blackened. They're usually pretty good about this... you mark teriyaki and blackened and they will do all the wings like this- dipped in sauce and then blackened. Though recently they served us a plate with 3 blackened wings and 3 teriyaki. I was kind of put off by it but I was hungry and the server was kind of... loud anyway so I just shrugged and ate my food. I would surely clarify in the future though. The burgers are delicious. I think its now $4.99 to build your own burger. They have allllll the toppings- bacon, grilled onion, pickles, thousand island, fried egg, etc. All they need is to add some avocado (not guacamole- very different) and they'll be set! Being from california I tend to be a little picky about my burgers. A good burger to me is a diner style burger with the bacon and avocado deliciousness- and while this isn't Pauls Place or Angelos, its about as close to home as I've found so far. Ps. Since this is connected with the bar you can order coke with grenadine (cherry coke) and it is much more delicious than that generic spray stuff. read more

We stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to play some pool. It was semi-packed, normal for a Saturday night. The place has character, it's a dive bar alright, but it's divy and cozy, just how I like it. Nothing posh or pretentious. The bartenders were all SUPER nice and attentive, awesome service. The drinks were cheap, 3.50 for domestic bottle, 4.50 for a pint or select bottles. The pool tables where all busy, so we were put on the waiting list for the next available table. *it's .75c per game. Actually stumbled on to this place by accident. It happened to be close to where we were staying in Vegas, and decided to stop in for dinner on our first night. Sports bar themed inside with lots of memorabilia. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were super welcoming. We asked for menus and a gal from the kitchen came over to see if we had questions. She also was very nice and welcoming. That really doesn't happen too often that I feel totally at home and at ease in a restaurant/bar. The staff is great! Haley is so sweet and attentive. They are cheering with us and making sure we are having a good time. The fans here are incredible.
