In January we bought two pairs of ASICS shoes from Run with us. Three months later one pair developed holes and was clearly defective. To submit a warranty form with ASICS, I needed a receipt. I called on Friday and got Armand who said he would look it up. Several hours later, I hadn't heard back but by end of business day he called me back and said they were so busy he simply didn't have time but Michelle would do it the following day. 11:30 AM on Saturday Michelle called me and said she would look up the receipt and call me back. This is a small business that serves the running community. If you're interested in running, even if you're just starting out, this is a good place to go. The guys who work here are friendly and enthusiastic about sharing their tips. Seemed to have a selection of New Balance, Saucony, Brooks and ASICS in stock. I didn't see any Nike, but then you can walk a half a mile up Colorado to the Nike store if that's what you're looking for. I found and tried Vfuel endurance gel and tried it on a long 15 mile run. I really liked it. Easy to eat and digest. Great rec from the ultra marathon runner behind the cash register. They sell t-shirts and have flyers for the Pasadena Pacers running group. I've been to bigger and fancier running stores. They're great too. We still need to support shops like this because there's plenty to be found here! read more

I was kind of embarrassed to bring in inserts that I have to wear with my running shoes, but an employee very kindly helped me find the right shoe to wear with them. He asked the right questions and picked out 5 different pairs of shoes that can help with my boyfriend's concerns. He would thoroughly explain the functions of the shoes and why he recommended them. Sergio was an absolute pleasure to work with and spent a substantial amount of time working to ensure I received the perfect shoe for my needs. I walk dogs quite frequently on several different surfaces and with my old shoes I was consistently getting blisters on the balls and back of my feet. This was affecting nearly everything in my life. Sergio brought out for shoes for me to try on in different sizes. He also measured my foot. Apparently I had been wearing the wrong size shoe too! I have small feet so my best option was a woman shoe (more like a unisex shoe) made by New Balance. It was like walking on a cloud! I even wore the shoes out the door. The other shoes I was wearing were low priced and from big five and the shoes I ended up purchasing came out to around $100 but the difference is night and day. I also used a Groupon. Being new to socal, I didn't know where to go to get fitted for some new running shoes. This place had good reviews in Yelp so I checked it out. I went in a Sunday afternoon so it went busy at all. They had a nice selection of high quality running shoes and gear. They had me stand on a scale to see how my weight is distributed within my feet. The store associate came out with 3 different brands, and he did an excellent job finding some good shoes. I enjoyed all 3, but had to narrow it down between two at the end. Customer service here is great. And the prices are very reasonable for this type of store. I would definitely recommend this place looking for shoes in the area. read more

Fantastic store with good people. I came with already an idea of what I wanted and just wanted to try on sizes. But their customer service and prices had me pulling out my wallet. For the shoes I wanted they literally beat every online retailer I had looked at! And the guys knew what they were talking about in terms of the right shoe for my need and seemed to have experience with the entire line of shoes they were selling. The only thing that may turn people away is possibly a limited color selection of the shoe you want. I followed and was completely ignored. I went to this place after reading the reviews and realizing they had a Groupon deal. I have plantar fasciitis and haven't had anyone really help me find proper insoles to wear until today. I walked and and was greeted instantly. Nearly every employee was helping someone one on one which was really nice to see. A girl came out from behind the register when I explained what I was looking for. She instantly got my several things to try on and explained how they would help my issue. I've gone here twice now: once for myself and another time for my dad. I really appreciate the patience and thoughtfulness they put behind helping to decide which shoe fits the best. A very Knowledgeable staff! I went in with heel pain resulting from Plantar Fasciitis. Adrian was the first staff member to greet and help me with my concerns. Having dealt with this condition before, I pretty much knew what I needed. Adrian was a great help. He directed me to some orthotic supports that were just what I needed. I also had questions about which running shoes would be best for my condition, again he was very Knowledgeable and helpful. Also note worthy, I had a discount voucher from Groupon.
