Craving an açaí bowl when you visit Dolores park? This is your spot. Palmetto Superfoods offers a…read morevariety of refreshing açaí bowls and smoothies. I got the Bay Blend and it was the perfect combination with berries and bananas, some granola and cacao nibs spread on top, and a delicious açaí, pitaya, and chia pudding base. Açaí bowls tend to be on the pricey side, especially if you get the large size, however, I got a small one and it was actually a decent amount for me. I noticed that they do have a lot of orders, so you might have to wait a few minutes, but overall it's not too bad. There are a few chairs for you to enjoy your treat, or even better, walk over to Dolores Park to enjoy some fresh air.

What restaurant staffs two people at a time on a weekend??? How are employees supposed to keep up with demand and be able to take breaks? It feels like the owners are money hungry and uncaring about staff health and happiness. My friend and I went to grab bowls before heading to the park today and it took an hour and 20 minutes to receive them. And that absolutely wasn't because of the employees, who were working themselves to the bone to keep up with demand. Customers and especially delivery drivers were getting increasingly rude and irritated with the employees as the wait times got longer and longer; the employees were as nice as possible as they responded to people demeaning them and drivers arguing with them. The owners need to get a grip and provide appropriate staffing or allow employees to pause delivery services when they're slammed. Just because people will keep buying your acai bowls even after a bad experience like this, doesn't make it right that you treat your employees so poorly. They deserve better!

I love açaí bowls, so when I saw that they had a happy hour sign (10am-2:30pm daily) for $12.99, I…read moredecided to stop by to grab one for lunch! This location is really close to my work, which was great. I stopped by on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and there were only a few customers inside. I like the simple decor and the big menu on the wall, it reminded me of Hawaii. I ordered the original gangster and waited less than 5 minutes before it was ready. The açaí was not too sweet (just how I like it), and I loved all the toppings that came with it such as the granola, banana, blueberry, coconut shavings, and honey. The strawberry was a bit too tart but other than that, everything was great. I think I've found my favorite açai spot in the city. I can't wait to try other flavors next time I stop by.

I find the Green Goliath to be pretty unique, as well as the Original Gangster. I love the light, airy, and plant-filled interior. They also have some good "happy hours" for cheaper poke bowls, acai bowls, smoothies, and bone broths. Service is kind, friendly, and efficient. I love this location in Nob Hill? Polk Gulch? Very bikeable, walkable, and bus-able.

The interior is really spacious - there are a variety of table sizes that can easily accommodate one person or a large party. Despite them having a steady flow of people we barely had to wait to place our order & everything came out very promptly. We tried two of their specialty coffee / matchas - the Dubai chocolate latte & matcha verde w amarelo which were both great. We decided to stay for the World Cup game & got a couple bites & Brahma beers that we really enjoyed.

DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY…read more We paid extra to have our order delivered to our hotel and used the restaurant's order-ahead option. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.
