I wasn't really a fan of the Avocado toast I had, but the lavender latte was really good. My only issue with it is that it was $8+ which is entirety too expensive for a 12 oz. Overall, the establishment very well lit and very clean. The barista was pleasant and my latte came out right away. Would have loved to become a regular, but the latte was just too expensive.

Dubai. Chocolate. Toast. Need I say more lol Avotoasty is one of my favorite places for casual dining in the city. And this month's special is their Dubai hot chocolate and Dubai chocolate toast. I was curious on getting the hot chocolate, but I thought that be too much with the toast. So I got a Karl the Fog latte instead. The toast was delicious! It was chocolatey, crunchy, and not too sweet with a rich nuttiness from the pistachios. The strawberries added a nice freshness. It's definitely worth getting. I'll have to get the hot chocolate next. Their FiDi location Karl the Fog tea latte was yummy. It had the flavors of the earl grey with the frothiness from the foam. Service was good. I ordered on the kiosk and got my order pretty quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their FiDi location is very spacious with plenty of seating within the restaurant and outside in the lobby. It's a nice place to get some work done and have a quiet meal[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Enjoyed the toasted sesame dressing for the chicken bowl which is basically mixed greens with chicken and avocado. It's nothing special but it is fresh and filling. The avocado toast is very pretty but also expensive for one slice. I liked being able to watch the ladies make the food but if they get busy it take a bit to get your order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a huge indoor area for seating and they also have some outdoor space which can be nice when the sun is out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Naked toasty & Chai Latte
    Pam M.

I was introduced to Avotoasty recently from a Yelp Community event that I attended. I enjoyed the toasts and returned today for lunch. I had a naked toasty and a chai latte with coconut milk. The avocado toast was light, but also filling & delicious although it was simple. The chai latte was also delicious and the coconut milk added a hint of additional sweetness. Staff are helpful & friendly, [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is quite large, so there are tables where you can have a decent size group together to enjoy lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a happy hour menu from 3PM to 5PM which features some alcoholic beverages.

Found this via DoorDash "going out" promo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Venue is very clean, great music, and wasn't too busy despite being lunch time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are self ordering machines you can use, but the friendly staff can also assist. I got the chicken bowl - everything tasted fresh. no complaints for a $5 promo bowl (great deal!) Not sure I'd pay $16 for it though. Portions are smaller than what you'd get from Mendocino farms a couple blocks away.

Walked in on a whim today, and was pleasantly surprised by this place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space was so spacious and welcoming[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the service was amazing. My iced latte and avocado toast hit the spot. Would definitely come again.

My breakfast here. Calm and nice. The staff knew his job. Great work guys

Came down for breakfast. The Toast looks good. The staff know his stuff. Always great to see people devoted to their job

Grabbed an avocado smoothie here on a weekday since it's conveniently in FiDi. I'm not a fan of ginger but I asked the cashier if you can taste it or not and he said not really so I didn't ask to exclude it. Smoothie was ready within 5 minutes of ordering since it wasn't too busy the time I went. I'm used to the avocado smoothies found at boba shops and Asian restaurants so I was thinking this might be similar. Upon getting the drink, I noticed that the ingredients that were included in it were visible -- spinach leaves, ginger pieces, etc. -- and after taking a sip, I could literally taste and feel the individual ingredients. It seems like it wasn't blended fully, not sure if that's what is normal here. Overall pretty disappointed in the smoothie and drank less than a fourth of it before tossing.

Came across Avotasty via Yelp. I have tried their Hummus avocado toast a couple of times and it's been great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location is easy to find, with good seating, some good vegan options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ordering is easy, and service is quick. Great presentation, great taste. Highly recommend it. They have Cocktails and charcuterie on Tuesday afternoon.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that we now have a welcoming, clean, spacious option in FiDi that's actually open on the weekends![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a ton of seating inside and outside as well as on the second floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] service is fast and courteous. The menu is extensive with avocado toast options, salad bowls, acai bowl, caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, and even alcohol. However, the flavor of the food and drinks are still not as good as the options at the Union Street location. I've had the pumpkin spice latte, turmeric latte, London fog, and acai bowl here. The drinks are consistently too sweet, and the turmeric latte was too powdery. The acai bowl was decent but also a bjt too sweet. I hope the quality of the food gets better as the location works through opening pains! overall though a good, reliable option for coffee, brunch, or lunch

I was very excited & intrigued to try the beetroot latte & had it with almond milk but it tasted very plain like it was missing something, I mostly tasted the almond milk not the beetroot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is absolutely adorable and I will mostly definitely give it another try but maybe with a different drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I appreciate the vegan options.

Very disappointed i waited so long for my order. I asked if my order is ready and the girl asked me what's your order? Then she found my order siting in the counter.

Every time I see the food and drink menu, as well as their food creations, I have two words for the likes of Avotoasty: clean eats. Inside 101 California, I saw a huge laid-back space with two seating areas. On the counter, every material piled here and there looked so fancy. Nice place since back in Cow Hollow when I had neatly plated avocado toast. Wait! Was it the same energetic dude from Cow Hollow who came all the way here in the financial district just to help a newcomer with bringing me the cash? Maybe it's him who made me feel right at home. That Superbowl salad on my first visit was absolutely good using my very own salad dressing. The açaí bowl in a wobbly hard half coconut shell was A-mazing! Might come back for mochi donuts in another visit.

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. The lady that I was watching was there for the matcha and I can understand why now. We tried the Yuzu Matcha Air Cloud and a Caramel Latte because I felt like we needed to try the coffee since it's a Coffee shop though I have to say I was not a fan of the coffee. We arrived just before the line outside started to form. There's seating available inside with a couple of people that seemed to be working. We originally sat in the middle section with the small round table that can't be moved but then a table opened up. There's a gender neutral restroom available that always seemed to have a line though I guess that's what happens at coffee shops. ~~Service: Good. It was quick to order and surprisingly very quick to receive our drinks as well. ~~Best Part: The Matcha. The coffee was a bit too bitter but it could be due to the fact that I do prefer to drink dark roasts. ~~Worst Part: Nit though maybe it's just me where we were expecting there to be a trash at the entrance so that we could throw away our cups as we were leaving but I guess there's no room for the bins at the beginning so you have to walk to the back towards the restroom to throw it away. ~~Tips: Get the matcha. I wanted to get the velvet but it looked so basic compared to the Yuzu matcha air cloud. The Yuzu flavor itself was refreshing in the foam form but I'm very basic when it comes to flavors and shouldn't have mixed the foam in because it was messing with me. ~~Return: Probably not. I wanted to check the receipt because somehow 2 drinks was nearly $20 but I realized there wasn't even an option to get a receipt.

Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options.
