I look for service, responsiveness, and most of all quality and workmanship. Dr Wheel covers all the bases. I'll be honest, I was a little suspect at first. Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

It's one of the best decisions I have made this year. Will was able to come out with a day or so and run a diagnostics check, quickly locating the issue and showing me the results. He explained to me what the issue was, discussed options, gave me a full quote and a price - highly competitive. With me agreeing to what needed to be done, he ordered the part (Saturday) and came back the next day (Sunday) to install it. Incredibly helpful and so polite, he showed me the new part, walked me through what he was going to do and afterward even showed me the part he removed and explained the wear and why it was actually perfect timing. Within hours I was up and running again, good as new. I have NEVER had service like this from a dealership in all my years of being a car owner and driver (and that's several decades). Will also flagged other things that I needed to be aware of (including needing an oil change - which I will be getting him to come and do) but at no point pushed for me to do them there and then - zero pressure, just guidance. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions and was keen for me to understand what was happening and why - superb! He even cleared up the work area after he'd finished. Flawless. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!. I don't know how this shop stays in business. They have no idea what they're doing. They sold me wheels that didn't even fit my car! They're "guaranteed fitment" is a joke. They will do anything to make a wheel "fit" your car regardless of if it's supposed to fit or not. 9 times out of 10, you will end up with vibration issues the minute you leave the shop. They don't seem to know what hub centric means. I spent 6 weeks trying to get the vibrations to stop after having my wheels balanced 3 times and they refused to take the wheels back without charging me a restocking fee since I had already installed the wheels on my car. How was I supposed to know the wheels weren't going to fit without installing them!?! These guys are scam artists. Buyer beware. You've been warned. Don't get sucked into the cheap price. I called to ask a few questions about some wheels I seen online and JJ answered....he got the year make and model of my car and looked to see if he could get the wheels I wanted and made sure they would fit correctly and he called me back....I placed the order on Dec. 19th and with me being in Oklahoma it said they would arrive Dec. 27- Jan. 2, but they arrived on the 26th.....JJ was GREAT!!! He took a picture of the tires and wheels before and after he packaged them and stayed in contact with me to assure they got to me in great shape. I just bought a new set for my Mercedes S550 and the services and products are great with very reasonable prices. When I raised my concerns with the shop, they informed me that additional parts needed to be replaced before the alignment could be corrected. However, after consulting with two independent mechanics and providing them with the alignment report, both advised that the alignment was not performed properly and that the repairs recommended by the alignment shop were not necessary to achieve proper alignment specifications. What is most frustrating is the lack of accountability and unwillingness to work toward a resolution. As a long-time customer, I expected better customer service and a genuine effort to address the issue. Due to this experience, I will no longer be returning for future services.

Pay and they will send you to a nearby location where they will install the tires. Less than minutes and tires were installed. They have a waiting area too.

They carry all types of tires dependent on your budget. The quality of the install is great. The whole process is different from your normal tire shop. You pay at their warehouse, and once it's confirmed, you drive around the corner for install with their partner installer.

Came here to have a flat tire patched, and the owner started working on it without first telling me…read morethe cost or mentioning that they only accept cash. After the work had already finished, the owner told me it was a cash-only shop. He couldn't even put my spare tire back in the trunk, he left it in the floor for me to put away. I also asked if they could install and program four TPMS sensors that I had already purchased. I did my research beforehand and bought the correct OEM Denso sensors. He told me they would only install TPMS sensors if they were purchased through their shop. He said he could physically install mine but refused to program them, even though he had the equipment to do so. When I told him they were OEM Denso sensors, he incorrectly claimed they were AutoZone sensors. Instead, he tried to sell me his own sensors for $400. It felt like he was refusing to program my sensors simply to force me into buying his. Based on that experience, I won't be coming back. This was some of the worst customer service I've received. Me dijo que solo instalan sensores TPMS si se compran directamente con ellos. Comentó que podía instalar físicamente los míos, pero que no los programaría, a pesar de que tenía el equipo necesario para hacerlo. Cuando le expliqué que eran sensores OEM de Denso, insistió incorrectamente en que eran de AutoZone. En lugar de ayudarme, trató de venderme sus propios sensores por $400. Me dio la impresión de que se negó a programar los míos simplemente para obligarme a comprar los de él. Después de esta experiencia, no volveré. Ha sido uno de los peores servicios al cliente que he recibido. ¡Busquen otro lugar!
