He won't try to convince you to add unnecessary tests or procedures. He's an honest man who cares deeply for the animals under his care.

I didn't know it was a crime to walk in and pay for a service. Anyway they got me in and after a long wait a got to see the vet, Joe Roundy. First impressions weren't great, as he asked me how many times my cat had thrown up, and when I told him multiple times throughout the day, he scoffed at me and said that wasn't helpful. He needed a number. This in and of itself is fine if he wanted me to give him an exact number, but the way he went about it made me feel stupid. It wouldn't have been hard to just ask me to be more specific. The customer service throughout was very lacking, but that is not my real issue. The vet asked me to do 2 x-rays and quoted me 250 dollars. I was reluctant but said that would be fine. In the end he ended up doing 3 x-rays without asking me, but ended up finding out about an inflamed esophagus, which he said can happen on its own and isn't a major issue. This ended up not being the problem anyway. In the end it was determined to just be a stomach bug. Nothing serious. They charged me $607.39 in total. Here is the breakdown: Exam, Regular $64 2 Xrays $250 1 Xray $125 Barium $15 Clomipramine 25 $40 Injections I.M. $26 Walk-in Fee $45 Cerenia 24 mg tabs $22 Metronidazole 250 mg $15 Taxes $5.39 Total $607.39 Fucking bastards. All this for a stomach bug. I ask the question, Why the hell didn't we start with that? I know I said yes to the x-rays, but I didn't really know anything about it and I thought they were the experts. He made it seem like it was very important that we do x-rays. I realize that was a mistake. I also didn't agree to them doing 3 of them and all of these other medications. They also made no mention of a walk in fee. On top of it all I had to sign a paper saying I would pay for everything the vet prescribed before I had even seen him. Anyway this was an awful experience with terrible communication and very poor customer service. I will not be taking my animal back here and I advise you find another vet. Or hell, just use AI at this point. Remember this is just a business and they only want your money. To hell with your animals or giving a shit about delivering fair service for fair pay.

The staff is always kind, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs they work with. I really appreciate how transparent they are about grooming. They set realistic expectations and explain when a haircut might need to be shorter because of mats or tangles--they're groomers, not magicians! I'd much rather have honest communication and know my dog is being cared for safely and comfortably. A special shoutout to Bree for always making Archie look absolutely fantastic! He comes home looking great every time. I highly recommend Brush, Bath, and Beyond to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring grooming salon.

Flora is a nervous kitty so I was worried how everything would go. Jenn assured me she would take great care Flora and she'd be handled with kindness. She said she'd be done in 2-3 hours and I'd be notified. In less than 3 hours I received a text that Flora was ready, including a report card and photo! When I arrived at the salon, the price was less than I've paid at other salons. Plus I'm happier with the attention to detail Flora received -- her "mane" reached farther down her neck (more lion-like), her "boots" were tapered at their tops at the joint. I'm very pleased with Flora's lion cut, the great price, and mostly with Jenn's kindness and care with Flora. I highly recommend Brush Bath and Beyond, and Jenn especially.

The minute we arrived they immediately took care of my dog; from the medical assistants, front office personnel and major kudos to Dr. Jess! This group of professionals showed such care, kindness, and compassion, keeping me informed about everything. I am pleased to say my puppy is back to being happy and healthy thanks to this great healthcare group as well as my family veterinarian, Dr. Grover. What a blessing to have this great team in our area! I definitely give them five stars!

When I first started coming here on referral from my regular vet, the owners were not allowed to go inside due to the pandemic. Upon arrival, I had to park in a numbered parking spot out front, call the number on the sign, and someone would come out and take my dog inside to see the vet. The vet would then call me to discuss the appointment findings and the recommended course of action. Once the visit was complete, the tech would bring my dog back out to me. More recently when I've visited, I was able to go inside with my dog and wait in an exam room. However, when the vet examined my dog, the tech would take my dog to another location where I was not present to see what was happening. I prefer to be with my dog during the visit. My latest visit was because my dog had a serious issue, and we ended up having to make the hard decision to put her down. Mountain West performed the procedure in a special bereavement room with a couch. It was nice that they separated me from the busy exam rooms and waiting room of the facility for this painful process. During all of my visits, the staff were friendly and accommodating. A few things I wished were different are that I have always asked but never received a printed copy of the visit summary for my dogs. They are very automated and seem to prefer to not print anything. And it is hit and miss with getting the summary via email also. Also because they are an emergency facility, they post on the walls and doors that there may be a long wait due to possible emergencies coming in. I usually have waited no less and 1 hour and as much as 5 hours during my appointment. There does not seem to be a option for a quicker turn around.
